Results are Here

This match goes one way only and that is to Corino. Corino is a better Wrestler than the majority of the WWE roster. So that means he beats Hardy to a pulp. This is in his backyard so to speak. Canadian born, and in ECW. This means he has the crowd advantage. You may think I am slurping him but Corino wins this one handily over the more talented Hardy brother. Red Rep or Infractions to anyone that votes Hardy.

This one could be good. Its In Toronto, one up for Edge. But its also under extreme rules, so one up for sandman. I seriously think that if this was any other than edge sandman could pull of the upset. But Edge is pretty good in Gimmick matches. Edge takes it, but its alot better of a match then you would first think.

So if this wasn't in ecw Show would take it. But Jeff can use anything he wants to topple the giant. Even the guitar, so i'd say he finds a way to pull it out.

Not even a question. The fact that Ric Flair is a #3 seed seems unfair.

Goldberg wasn't as bad as people tend to think. He was just very stiff (which is why Bret Hart no longer wrestles). His matches were almost always squashes though, which leads alot of people to think he sucks, or was like a prototype for John Cena's dominance today. But he still had some entertaining matches when given the time, and he played his role solidy well. He was the perfect answer to Austin for WCW at the time.

But he's facing Ric Flair. Ric Flair wins this. Easily. No need for the 60 minute matches he's renowned for.

Wow. Wow this is a dream match right here (they never worked together in TNA did they?). I would absolutely love to see this match now, let alone a Sabu in his prime against Homicide.

This match is really close IMO, and hard to call. But I'm a huge Sabu mark to be honest, and Homicide is still very unproven in my eyes. Yes, he's had his fair share of good matches in TNA and has had some solid indie work under his belt, but Sabu is a veteran who has even more high-flying experience then the young Homicide.

Sabu should take this one, but it'll be very close to call. Results will depend upon how hard the TNA marks come out.

[EDIT: Wow, lot of Homicide fans huh?)

Wow, I expected more votes for Hakushi to be honest. He was fantastic in the ring, and one of the only things worth watching in WWF circa 94-95.

But Lance Storm is a beast of technical wrestling. He ranks up there with Bret Hart, Chris Benoit, and Dean Malenko IMO. He really was that damn good, and if only he'd stop blogging and get back into a ring, I'd be one happy little wrestling fan.

Not even a contest. Once again, James Storm sucks. How many times must I say this?

Vader is the exception to the supposed rule that smarks only love cruiserweights or technical wrestling. Because everyone loves Vader. His WCW stuff was enough to bring him to legend status in my book, add on a pretty good run in the WWF (not especially amazing) and you're set.

But if you've never seen Vader wrestling in Japan...stop reading right now, and watch some. He's ridiculiously good.

Hi posters. I know we may have some young folks here. But please listen to the response Naitch gets night in and night out. He is now at a caliper of maybe Carlito but do you hear Carlito getting cheered like Naitch does. Naitch is the greatest single wrestler of all time and Goldberg doesn't stand a chance.

I'm glad to see this is as close as it is. I thought Rey would take this one easily. I'm not a Sid fan but he is clearer the better choice here. Sid has a mean streak and with the rules he would power bomb Rey right through the table. I think Sid catches Rey off the ropes and it's over.

They both suck, neither should go through simple as. Both are overated to fook, Rey was a decent crusierweight about 5 years ago, but he has been over pushed and really isnt anything remotely special. However sid was even more over pushed, he was never anything other than a average mid/lower card wrestler. He was made to look good because of his size, and his push. However I am voting for Sid because I hate Rey sooo much, because he is crap, whereas i am pretty neutral towards sid, and even enjoyed a couple of his matches. The only Rey match I have ever liked was his ladder match with eddie.

ha this would be an hilarious squash, sandman is crap, he had a good gimmick but he's crap. No ifs not buts here, hes just crap. Edge would destroy him, I don't even know why Sandman is in round 2 because he can't wrestle.

Sid Vicious takes out over-REY-ted Mysterio in 15 minutes with a powerbomb. It's a classic mismatch. Mysterio has no right matching up with a physical specimin like Justice, despite the fact that Sid wasn't the cleanest worker in the ring. Mysterio gets tossed around like a rag doll and the size advantage, as well it should be, it too much for the Mexican Marketing Machine.

Flair wins this match rather quickly. Goldberg hasn't lost many matches in his career, but most of those matches were squashes. Goldberg didn't have a lot of moves but he did use them right. Flair had a wide range though, so I'm taking Flair to make Goldberg tap-out at the 8 minute mark.

personally, I thoroughly enjoyed Goldberg, and the character. I think he put on very good matches when given time, and very rarely botched anything. He isnt even close to being as ass as everyone makes him out to be. You cant make a judgement one way or another on a guy whos entire carreer consisted of majority squashes, thats just not a big enough body of work to proclaim he "sucks" IMO. I tend to agree that flair takes this one though, becuase he DOES havea body of work that you can judge. Six sided ring is just more ropes for him to put his feet on while doing the winning roll up.

I love rey reys work, especially the old stuff, but goodness he would stand little to no chance VS Sid in extreme rules. Mysterio would probably get destroyed in rather short order here, and show everyone what makes him one of the best sellers in the buisness lol. Mysterio is great at taking bumps, and he would show everyone during this match. The Monster Sid, takes out the little big man, in probably short order, after a cat and mouse affair.

As much as the ECW marks will have a tough time admitting it, especially in the ECW bracket, Edge would take this. True, Sandman is royalty when it comes to hardcore, and ECW, but Edge has more than proved himself in these kinds of matches. If it were a different time, maybe id pick the Sandman, becuase of the extreme rules home feild advantage. but Edge is just TOO damn good.

HOW did Jarret even get the 12 seed??? Double J fuckin SUCKED...anyway...

No chance against Show, even the out of prime fat peice of garbage show from the last two years. AND its extreme rules??? Oh fuck no lol....That blood would flow out of Jarret, followed by a chokeslam through numerous burning tables. less than ten minutes, the Show strolls to the next round
