Raw LD for 8/30 is the longest weekly episodic television series in history.

There certainly were some good parts of the night, but the rest was oddly booked. It was as if they threw it all together at the last minute, and it came of terribly.

Im sure that WWE was trying to show off all of their talents so everyone in that audience (I figure they were expecting a big audience for this occasion) could see them, but really they did a poor job of it. Other than Del Rio and CM Punk, they did a bad job of showcasing the future of the company. And while the Nexus match may have helped in that regard any effects are minimal with the exception of Wade Barret.

The fact that they included Kane in the opening to the show, really shows how high Vince is on him right now IMO. I thought he did very well in that promo, and has actually got me more interested in what they are doing with him. Don't think he's been this twisted since right after the release of "See No Evil".

Punk killed it. That was a great promo. The playing of Austin's music, "punked" the Rock, and the Big Show thing was enjoyable. Really the only part of the show that I watched in full. Bryan/Kaval tag team was interesting though.

The 900th episode of Raw was good ill give it a 3.5 out of 5 just because they could have done more to remember past Raw maybe brought some of the guys who used to be on Raw I think maybe a headbangers or road dogg jesse james since hes not with TNA anymore or even had triple h do a promo via satellite or even done something to land mark this historic night and make it better by having miz cash in MITB something to make sure people remember the 900th episode

I didn't have my hopes up, but I thought this show would at least have someone from the old days of Raw besides Bret Hart and Undertaker. The CM Punk promo was great though. Everything was more about video clips of old shows then the wrestling of this show. Seeing those clips reminded all of us how far Raw has fallen over the years. Overall though compared to the Raw shows we have mostly seen over the past few weeks, this wasn't worst then them.
