Like I've said for a long time: they need some fresh ideas in the creative process. I get that it's three hours a week and you're going to run out of ideas, but as was said here earlier: it feels like they run through the same four or five concepts over and over on a rotating basis and that's all they know how to do.

Building some superstars' characters up would go a long way to helping, lMO.

Also, are there too many PPVs(in addition to too much programming) which mean that payoffs generally feel underwhelming and seemingly end up doing nothing for those involved?

The PPVs are fine. It's seeing the same ideas and matches over and over again leading to the shows. TV being too long is a BIG contributor though and probably the top spot.
