I'm also reminded - eerily - of the criticism the likes of Daniel Bryan and CM Punk drew while wrestling the likes of Wade Barrett and Shannon Moore.

I did watch NXT when he was there. Still couldn't get into him much. It's a boring character to me.

That is genuinely surprising to me, particularly if you watched, well, any of his Takeover matches, but hey, whatever floats your boat.
