RAW LD 10/28: HBShizzled

Ambrose's US title defences turning into six man matches happens way too much. It makes sense but just for once I'd like a stipulation where if the opponent's team wins, they become the US champion.

Cena did that last year...even if it was by DQ.

That was a totally different scenario and you know it. A face redeeming the briefcase with advance notice is not the same as a heel exploiting a beaten down man to win the title in a cheap fashion. This is the first time that a heel has exploited his opportunity and failed. Which brings legitimacy to the briefcase.

To be fair, my initial reaction was 'That is absolute bullshit.' But having said that, like you have said previously, Sandow hasn't been booked strongly at all and had he beaten Cena it would have been a bit ridiculous. Though the beatdown beforehand and the 'one-armed Cena' makes Cena look ridiculously superhuman.

Sandow recently lost to Santino. If anyone wants to get into an argument over whether a one armed Cena is better than a full Santino, I'll be here all night.

Sandow is not ready to be the #1 guy on SD. I really like the character and wouldnt mind seeing more of a push, but he just isnt the smart choice right now.

Cena is and thats coming from someone who dislikes Super Cena.

WWE did the right thing. It is gonna boost ratings (which would have not happened with Sandow) and take the title back up a few notches. What is wrong with that?

@Butcher I didn't think Jack Swagger was world heavyweight material back then either. I was shocked when he won that briefcase. He's one of the reasons the world title has lost prestige over the years

Ultimately, I think Sandow should have lost the cash-in, but he shouldn't have looked like an idiot (which he did). I hope he gets a push and the WHC soon.

Now I'm going to take a deep breath, and move on.

Getting into a counter sequence, going after an injury and getting caught in one of the most famous moves of all time is looking like an idiot?

Also easy for people to say they would have when Cena retained too.

None of those people gave any indication that they would have been unhappy about Sandow winning. I doubt the folks disappointed by Cena retaining are just saying so for the hell of it.

Agreed. I was just pointing out that a wrestler getting the title via MITB cash-in makes him World Champion regardless of his resume, and by holding the title, that individual is world championship material by definition.

Well........crap, when you put it like that. Even so, it's interesting to see where they go with Sandow now.

Roman Reigns is going to be a star one day. I'm also starting to see a hint of disconnect between the Shield. Ambrose is getting a little too cocky and you can see Rollins and more so Reigns isn't liking it.

Looking forward to Ambrose getting a chance away from the shield...and hopefully Rollins and Reigns spearheading WWE Tag Team revolution #47

He pulled a classic heel move and attacked an injured face. The face won. What makes him look dumb, the fact the title was on the line? I dont get your logic here because Sandow actually looked pretty good in the match. The match was entertaining and Sandow will be just fine going forward.
