Raw is Psych LD 01/25

Well forgive me if I don't take that opinion seriously, FTS. After all, you thought the Slammys were great.

Say what? Bret was the damn man when he wrestled. At his best he was better than anyone actively wrestling now, maybe not in their prime "Michaels/Angle" but as far as what their doing now.

Bret was only in his position because the era he was in was shit. You had Taker, HBK, and Hart. With throw ins of Diesel and Yoko.

Yup, he was amazing. When Hogan wasn't going out of WWE, where was he? Even in today's WWE he wouldnt match up and be as good as anyone on the roster. It was his ERA to carry, and he failed. Massively

Thats a big fat load of horseshit Monkey, Bret Hart was getting pops that not only rivaled Hogan but were BIGGER than Hogans in 92-93. He was massively over and always was until his last day in this business. The man is one of the greatest workers EVER, you literally CAN NOT find a bad match involving the man during the era of 91-97.

Not really. It's like this. Hogan has, and always will be great. People remembered Bret Hart as being "Great", when in reality he comes back and does nothing, Is as boring as ever, if not more.

Hogan on the other hand could be in a wheelchair and still be entertaining.

Hogan was built by Vince McMahon, liked the money, got offered more money from WCW, was a backstabbing motherfucker in WCW, and is now scratching and clawing at his position at the top of the second promotion because they won't put him on top of the first one.

He's old, he talks too much, he stopped being great early into NWO-era WCW. He's not great now.

Where was he when Hogan was there? He was having steal showing matches left and right that's where he was. And how did he fail in his era? I assume your referring to 93-96? He had classics with HBK/Owen/Yoko/Taker and even Kevin Nash's sorry ass "Survivor Series 95" Im failing to see your point Stinger...

He was a great worker, no doubt about that. Now you can throw out your caps lock and TRY to make your post SEEM logICAL. But in reality, where were the ratings? That's right, they were over in WCW with Hogan and Sting. I forgot. I wasn't talking ABOUT the QUALITY of THE match. I was TALKING about why everyone is on Bret Hart's dick. If you want match quality, sure go to Bret Hart. If you want to be entertained go to Hogan.

Neither is Bret Hart.

And why wasn't Hart a big draw? Hogan and Warrior bailed without putting him over, Vince for whatever reason wouldn't do Savage vs. Bret, and the flair match wasn't even televised.

If you think Hogan's sorry ass excuse for wrestling matches in the 90s were "entertaining" Monkey, sure, whatever. I for one am entertained by great wrestling matches, a category in which Bret Hart has Hogan beat a thousand times and over. Hogan hasn't had a good wrestling match in 20 fucking years.

Are we really going to get started on the whole Bret Hart is a technical god thing? I'm not saying Bret Hart didn't put on great wrestling matches. Never once did I say that. I actually like Bret Hart. His match against Hennig at SummerSlam being one of my all time favorites ever.

Neither is Bret Hart.

He is. Sorry, dude. You seem to have a personal bias against Hart. He wasn't supposed to make his entrance doing backflips holding sparklers and other various fireworks. He was supposed to be there to address a real life situation, and perhaps one of the biggest real-life feuds of the wrestling industry. He wasn't there to simply host a show like say Bob Barker or ZZ-Top was.

Hogan is there as a full time guy, though, and he's been wanting to be on TV because he's an arrogant asshole who feels the need to be on TV all. the. time. He has three reality TV shows, he went back to the WWE to promote two of them, and now he's soaking up all of TNA's time that used to be reserved for the young guys to roll around with the 50+ guys, WCW style.

No one wants to see The Nasty Boyz, or X-Pac, or Nash or Hall. Yet this is what we're getting. Hogan SAYS he's going to start pushing the younger guys, but that's not realistic. You know he's on top now, and he's going to stay on top.

EDIT: I'm one of those WRESTLING fans that feels wrestling ability is directly related to entertainment value. Weird, I know.

Hogan wrestled what, 5 times a year in the late 90s? At that rate they certainly would have been entertaining. We're entertained by things we never see.

Lol 5 times a year? Nonsense, Hogan couldn't handle a schedule that grueling.

Hulk Hogan in the 90s was fucking awful for the most part. There was a brief 1 year span during the NWO where he was cool again, but for the most part he put on shitty matches that no one wanted to see and never lived up to their hype. The only time he was even bearable after the NWO was during his brief little feud with Billy Kidman but that was short lived.

Yet still, everytime Hogan was on TV. It was far more interesting than when Bret Hart would come out. Ratings prove this.

Oh sweet christ, tell me you aren't using the "Popularity = Quality" argument Monkey. American Idol beats the fuck out of Lost every year in the ratings Monkey, are you going to argue it's a better television show than Lost?

I didn't think so.

Question, do you honestly believe that Hart will still be with the WWE in the summer? If he really wanted to help the business long term he'd stay. Which he won't. He will get his moment in the sun, and then fade off again in the sunset.

Hogan is going to be there to stay.

Hogan is going to be there to stay.

He doesn't need much more than that. He doesn't need to stick around and pretend to be stronger than John Cena or Kofi Kingston.

You see, Bret Hart knows when to call it quits. Hogan on the other hand...
