I got the evolution item needed to evolve Onix yesterday, sadly I don't have an Onix though. What's funny is my father got the item to evolve Slowpoke into Slowking which I could use and he has 2 Onix's.

There is a chickorita spawn at my house. Sat out there for like 2 hours and caught like 7. Can't really play though as because I was in an accident a few days ago. Don't like to get up because it hurts.

Hell of a surprise today. Opened pokemon go just to check what was near by and I see Snorlax at the church about a mile away from my house! Needless to say I quickly walked over there and caught it. 1895 CP and it only took 2 ultra balls. Up to 120 caught.

Since I'm on disability for the next 6 to 8 weeks, I have plenty of time to walk. Finally doesn't hurt to sit up too. I did visit a few pokestops. No item but I have 4 ready as soon as I get it.

Teddiursa and Octillery added today. 122 caught. Sadly my 5 egg hatched into fucking Oddish, another thing they need to move to 2's. Popped in a 10 egg so hopefully I get something good from that.

So I only played GO for the first month and never got far, but I decided to jump back in today, between the 2nd gen update, the Pokemon Day event, and the thread here.
I'll add everything else I have up here later, but today's catches:
Eevee, which I evolved into Umbreon
Goldeen
Hoothoot
Slugma
Also had a Murkrow appear but I failed to catch it.
Overall Pokedex is 50 seen, 41 caught; of that is Johto 5 seen, 3 caught.
Also just hit level 10 today (as I said I'm behind), my best Poke is my 725CP Scyther.

Mareep is rare as hell here in Toronto. My son caught one the first day and hasn't seen anything since.
Also a park nearby is a Cyndaquil next, he got enough candies in the space of two hours to get a Typhlosion. And for the next week you can catch a Pikachu with a party hat on. It's to commemorate the day that the first Pokemon games was released in Japan. It's kind of cute. After the event he goes back to not wearing a hat.
