[Official] WrestleMania XXV Discussion

Here's my revised card: (Winners in bold)

Dark Match:
Tag Title Match

Smackdown Tag Champions THE Brian Kendrick & Ezekiel Jackson v. Matt Hardy & Finlay - via DQ

I think TBK and Zeke win the belts soon, and since there's no competition over them, they'll at least hold them until Wrestlemania. I want/think Hardy will lose the ECW title before then, and Finlay doesn't have much going for him. They'd be a good pair of faces to go against a possibly good heel team of TBK and Zeke. I'd let the faces win by DQ, so the belts stay on the champs...

Match #1:
Tag Title Match

RAW Tag Champions Team Priceless v. Sim Snuka & Manu

You can't bring two rising stars like Rhodes and DiBiase into a title match at Wrestlemania, and have them lose the belts, so I'd have them win, but not cleanly. Manu and Snuka are already beign set up for a rivalry against them, so it could definitely happen, and would work as a quick opening match.

Match #2:
MVP v. Ken Mennedy

MVP will probably end his losing streak soon, possibly at the beginning of what could be a great long feud if they book it properly. MVP and Kennedy would put on a good match to keep the show going, and it would help each of them to make a name for themselves at Wrestlemania, with MVP as the victorious face, over Kennedy, the annoying heel.

Match #3:
Money In The Bank Ladder Match

CM Punk (IC Champ) v. Kofi Kingston v. Rey Mysterio v. Hurricane Helms v. Great Khali v. Shelton Benjamin v. The Miz v. Chavo Guerrero

After CM Punk wins the IC strap, I'd like to see him go heel and feud with Kofi, setting up a good MiTB match with 4 faces, and 4 heels. RAW and Smackdown would each have 3 representatives, and ECW would have 2, due to it's smaller size. I don't want Khali in this match for his offense. I want him in this match to see what people can create to do to him. Chavo and Helms would have a few spots, but nothing memorable, and Miz would be a serious contender if they don't kill him when Morrison goes face. Rey should be on the show, and could put up a good fight here. Ultimately I'd pick Shelton to win, because it's about time they push him, either to his demise, or to their gain. They've given him title runs, and haven't quite pulled the trigger yet, and this may be his last chance.

Match #4:
US Title Match

Umaga (US Champ) v. Vladimir Kozlov

I've said in a few othe threads that I think the best thing for Umaga is a title run. Since he's coming back in the middle of major storylines, a US Title run would be best to set him up for a possible feud with the WWE Champ. Kozlov is becoming the monster heel that Umaga was originally booked as, and if Kozlov keeps saying he wants a challenge, he'll find one in Umaga. Heel v. Heel almost never works, but they're both becoming the type of heel that can go over on anyone, and not turn into a face. The build-up matches would have to be epic though, because neither will shoot off a good promo to hype the match.

Match #5:
"Diva's Brand Supremacy"

Divas Champ Maryse & Michelle McCool v. Women's Champ Melina & Mickie James - No Contest

Maryse deserves to be pushed as the future of Women's wrestling in the WWE, and Vince is really trying push Michelle as a heel. This would set up the heel divas from Smackdown, against the face divas from RAW. It would be a decent match-up, but I'd have it end with Beth Phoenix coming down and destroying both teams, because she was left out of the match. This sets up the next segment...

Segment:

After the divas leave ringside, Beth grabs a mic and proclaims that she can take any diva, anywhere anytime, and is furious she doesn't have a match at the PPV event of the year. Santino then comes out, tooting his own horn, also upset that he doesn't have a match at Wrestlemania. He talks up Beth, saying how they are the two best wrestlers to not have a match...He then drops down to one knee, and proposes! This keeps them going strong, and also keeps Beth in the hunt for the Women's belt.

Match #6:
ECW Championship Three Way Dance

ECW Champ Jack Swagger v. John Morrison v. Evan Bourne

If Swagger beats Hardy, he should be set up for a good run with the title, and once Morrison goes face, this would be a good match-up. Evan Bourne should be returning soon, so hopefully he gets his push given back to him. I'd have him be eliminated first, only because the spotlight is definitely on Swagger and Morrison here. Swagger should retain, so they can continue this feud, because no one else, besides Bourne would make a good chaser to the belt with Swagger as champ.

Match #7:
Grudge Match - Falls Count Anywhere

Jeff Hardy v. Christian

It's almost 100% that this will be the match-up at Wrestlemania, and hopefully they have the right mind to not have one of their most over wrestlers lose. Christian should return strong, and the build-up should be great for this match. Hardy gets the win with an epic Swanton off the stage, onto Christian stretched out on a table.

Match #8:
RAW v. ECW v. Smackdown "Brand Supremacy"

Kane v. Big Show v. Mark Henry

I love big-man matches, and these three could put on a decent show if it's handled correctly. Hopefully, Kane receives a bit of a push if he gets a short feud with Orton, stemming from the angle with Kelly Kelly. If he does, he wins this match, simply because he's got the speed and agility advantage over the other lumbering big men. Big Show coudl also win, but he doesn't have the track record at 'Mania...

Match #9:
Texas Bullrope Match with Special Guest Ref Stone Cold Steve Austin

HBK v. JBL

I was originally hoping this feud would be over by No Way Out, but I'm becoming more and more intrigued by it's potential. HBK-Taker was the original idea, because they're both from Texas and it's the Icon v. the Streak. I got the idea for the Texas Bullrope match after a short discussion with NorCal over the possibilities of this match. It'd be epic, and the crowd would mark huge for it. It's the perfect set-up for the main events. HBK obviously wins, returning to full face, and giving everyone what they want, with JBL laid out in the ring. Stone Cold may get in to the HOF this year, and having a fellow Texan involved would be great. Maybe have him hit a stunner on JBL for fighting HBK dirty...

Match #10:
WWE Championship

WWE Champ Edge v. Triple H

I doubt they let Wrestlemania 25 pass, without having HHH win the title. With all the title changes lately, it's amazing he hasn't already had another title run, and this match would be a good way to start his next one. It'd be a great match, but not nearly as epic as the RAW main event, or Undertaker's match.

Match #11:
The Streak

Chris Jericho v. Undertaker

Jericho gets his match of the year nominee, and Undetaker gets to keep his streak going. As much as I'd love to see HBK and the Deadman go at it, I'd be even more psyched to see it after another year of waiting. I'd like to see a big exciting finish, with Jericho putting on the Walls Of Jericho, and digging deep into his bag of moves, only to be finished by the Tombstone in the middle of the ring. I like Undertaker's triangle choke, but the Tombstone should be the move that wins it for him here.

Match #12:
World Heavyweight Championship

WHC John Cena v. Royal Rumble Winner Randy Orton

I know it's rare to have both titles change hands at the same show, but I like Cena a lot more as a chaser, and I like Orton more as champ. This would be a great match, and the best possible way to end the silver anniversary show. As long as Orton does not win with "the punt", I'd be happy with however this match went.

Again, going with another revised card, only to be revised again in about two weeks.

A couple of days ago Jim Ross was a special guest on the Bubba The Love Sponge radio show in Florida and talked about WrestleMania XXV. The host, who is a big friend of Hulk Hogan, said that a Steve Austin vs Hulk Hogan
match should be done with Ross saying that it probably will never happen. Noting that neither man would job for the other, Ross said that maybe a double disqualification would be the best finish with another tag team like
The Miz and John Morrison interfering, giving them the rub while sharing the spotlight with the two legends. Moments later, Hulk Hogan called into the show and said he didn't agree with Ross' finish of the match, saying a match
of that importance should have a definite winner. The former WWE and WCW champion then said that he would have no problem putting over Steve Austin if the match ever takes place. It should be noted that every year, a few
months before WrestleMania is scheduled to take place, Hogan starts sending signals that he'd like to appear knowing a big paycheck would be coming his way

That bad boy has hit the net from the Bubba the Love sponge show, and it's sure to get the juices flowing for rabid Austin vs. Hogan talks. It seems though that Hogan throws this out every year around Wrestlemania. Hogan loves Wrestlemania, and he loves the pay day. For me, the window of opportunity is closing on this match, and closing quickly. It's slim to none that this match actually happens, but if it doesn't happen this year, it won't happen ever. Memo to Vincent Kennedy McMahon, I, along with about one million other people, would drop 55 Bucks on this match alone. Don't Spend money on Mayweather or Donald or whatever crap semi-celebrity you're eyeballing (Jackass Crew), spend money on this match and make it happen.

Now that the rant is over.

Edge vs. Triple H: Yup, looks to be happening. Triple H is going to be getting his shining time int he spotlight at the Silver Anniversary show of the grand daddy of them all. The Show closes with Trips holding his title once again, surpassing Hogan on the title count, and putting him within three of Flair, while Edge is made to look ******ed yet again.

John Czena vs. Randy Orton: Well look at this, the match that should have fucking happened last year, until the glory wHHHore himself decided to interject himself into that match as well. Really, this is the only way to go. John Cena is without a doubt, the biggest star in the company, and Randy Orton may very well be the best heel in the company. Ladies and Gentlemen, get used to it, by the time it's all said and done, Orton vs. Cena will be just as epic a feud as Rock/Austin, Hogan/Andre, HBK/Michaels. These two are young, and will be willing to prove to the world that this should have been the match last year.

Jeff Hardy vs. Christian: Sweet god, what a way to bring Christian back into the WWE. He's taking on arguably the most over star in the company, and coming back as a mega heel. Hopefully this is a sign that the E will indeed push Christian upon his return, as opposed to a one time deal, and then he fades away. I have my doubts with Hardy, but magic happens when the Hardys and E&C are involved, this shouldb e no acception.

Shawn Michaels vs. JBL: Unfuckingfortunately, this is the direction this damn feud seems to be going. Instead of giving us a fucking goldmine of a match for the ages in Michaels vs. the Undertaker, we'll get stuck with this clusterfuck of a match. An aging Shawn Michaels against a guy that has had zero good quality matches his entire career. When you talk about pissing away an opportunity, this is it right here.

Chris Jericho vs. The Undertaker: Selfishly, I want Taker vs. Michaels, and I believe both of the men want it. Mr. Wrestlemania vs. The Streak, in Texas, arguably two of the best people associated with Wrestlemania will be denied a once in a lifetime opportunity. Now that I've spent two matches ranting, let me continue. Jericho, without a doubt, is a better in ring wrestler then Shawn Michaels at this point. So on paper, this is probably a better match. Jericho and the Undertaker have managed to do soemthing extremely rare in the company today, and that's be in the company fora decade, and virtually not cross swords once. Chris jericho is probably the best in ring wrestler at this point in the WWE, and the Undertaker is still able to compete at a level that is ungodly and unmatched for a man of his size and age. This match is going to be a damn good one.

essentially its the same card as Norcals. Kennedy vs. MVP is a very viable option. Matt Hardy and CM Punk will surely be on the card. I wouldn't be surprised to see something along the lines of Big Show vs. Umaga, depending upon Umaga's return status. Also, look for Koslov and Kane as well. There are a ton of big name guys, that I simply can't see the WWE throwing into a battle royal situation.

I'm expecting that we're going to get a big show, as far as time. Wrestlemania 20 had a damn near 5 hour run time, and I could very easily see this happening again. This card needs to have a solid 12 matches in my opinion. Now you obviously can't put the entire roster on the card, but you can at least make it a semi-wrestling show.

I only have six matches, which if that happens, and we get a traditional 8 card match, it leaves room for Money in the Bank,w hich could conceivable ****e up 8 wrestler, but then that would leave one more match, with too many names not on the card.

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. Vince McMahon
OK now here me out on this one....who wouldnt want to see Austin one last time in the ring opening a can of whoop ass. Vince comes back on RAW and throws his weight around about being the boss and having the grapefruits and all. He says he created Wrestlemania and that at the 25th anniversary he wants a match. He issues an open challenge to anyone who wants to fight him. No one comes out. Next week on RAW he issues the same challenge and no one comes out and he then says ok they can have any stipulation they want. Vince is getting ready to leave the ring and GLASS SHATTERS. The roof would come unglued and Austin challenges him to a Street Fight. And we get to see one final can of whoop ass opened.

....OR....

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin vs. Chris Jericho
Maybe one of the only guys Austin would trust in the ring and a guy with a move set outside the Code Breaker could actually still get to use his moves on Austin. You have Vince come back and reinstate Jericho and Jericho continues to be a pain in the ass of Stephanie and sometime after Rumble in which Jericho does not win he says he has no one worthy to fight at WrestleMania. THis goes on for a week or two and then Stephanie comes out and says thtat she has a worhty opponent for him. Out comes Austin. The build could be ook in the fact that its Austin's last match and Jericho wnats to be the one to end his career with a loss.

I'm going to make my early Wrestlemania predictions now. I've decided to go against the grain with most of my choices, just for interest. I'm 90% certain that I will get all of them wrong.

If there was some way Edge/Hardy dropped the title to HHH between now and Wrestlemania then we could have Undertaker v. HHH at Wrestlemania. More than a strong enough match, I'm sure you'll agree, for the Smackdown main event.

That would free Edge and Hardy for my next idea. With Christian coming back, and if he hasn't already (I don't see ECW till tomorrow), then when Swagger wins the ECW title, Matt Hardy will be free too. Then we could have Edge and Christian vs The Hardys. Throw in some brand supremacy team bullshit to occupy Big Show, Umaga and Kozlov and all of the big players are accounted for.

Over on Raw... I think Jericho will win the Royal Rumble and fight Cena at 'mania. I can't see where else this fired angle is going at this point, unless he is taking longer off.

I think Orton will try to kill Austin's legend, and obviously this is a huge match, that doesn't need much introduction.

I think we will get to see HBK vs JBL in the weakest match on the card by far. This angle is boring me already, but I can't see the payoff being at NWO, so it's going to have to go to 'Mania.

I expect Raw's brand supremacy team to be Kane, Regal and Mike Knox.

Swagger will defend his title against someone abysmal - for arguments sake, say Finlay.

The women's match will involve Kelly Kelly... Kelly Kelly, Melina and Mickie against Beth Pheonix, Natalya and Michelle McCool. That's be the least of most evils.

Finally, the usuals will be in the MITB match.

So the card is

HHH v Undertaker (WWE)
Cena v Jericho (WHC)
Orton v Austin
The Hardys v Edge and Christian
JBL v HBK
Knox, Kane and Regal vs. Big Show, Kozlov and Umaga
Swagger v Finlay (ECW)
MITB - John Morrison(w/ Miz run in), CM Punk, Kofi Kingston, (One of Cody Rhodes or Ted DiBiase), Mr. Kennedy, Rey Mysterio, The Brian Kendrick and R-Truth

I'm confused as to why everyone seems to think that just because HBK has this storyline going with JBL that he won't face Taker at WM25. WM is still months away and there's plenty of time to let things develop. Here's how I see things playing out. JBL is not going to become champion before WM, but he will still be associated with Michaels. Chances are, through some grudge or incentive, JBL is going to have beef with Taker. This may lead to a match at No Way Out, might not. Either way, one thing is going to lead to another and HBK will be forced to face Taker as JBL's bitch. They'll have an epic match with Taker winning, and HBK will superkick JBL after he loses to end the whole storyline and begin a feud with JBL.

I think you're still even giving those people more credit than they deserve. HBK/JBL could easily be wrapped up with one match at No Way Out, leaving HBK/Taker to not involve JBL in the slightest bit.

Think about how fast storylines can go sometimes. Kane/Kelly has lasted what, 3 weeks? And its essentially over, unless they want to drag it out just to give Orton something to do in the mean time when he's not facing Cena, since he can't do that before WrestleMania. But even then, the Kane/Kelly/Orton story started AFTER HBK/JBL, and it has a shelf life that could be written off either by last week's match or, at the most, No Way Out. Why wouldn't HBK/JBL?

Here's a way to envision it. HBK and Cena have had some words lately about respect and such. WWE wants Cena to get cheered at all times and nothing seems to work, right? Well who is one of their guys that gets cheered all the time? HBK. So they have HBK superkick JBL and make it so Cena retains. JBL screws HBK out of the Royal Rumble, and the two have a few tag team matches and so forth until they have a blow-off match at No Way Out that ends it all, with Shawn earning lots of money from it or something. There. The end. Then you have almost two months (if I remember correctly) to do a sequel match on Raw and then build up to Undertaker/HBK, which almost assuredly won't be an actual FEUD between the two with a storyline, but rather, more like Batista/Umaga was last year.

And really...c'mon....why would the WWE want to have HBK/JBL at WrestleMania? They can't possibly think that JBL is a good in-ring performer at all. The only reason he's even employed is because he's well liked by McMahon and maybe a few others. HBK is "Mr. WrestleMania". They're not wasting him on JBL.

While I couldn't hope any more that you are right, I think you're wrong on this one...

JBL is hated by literally everyone - the marks, the smarks and half the roster. But for some reason he is still pushed by the WWE. I absolutely guarantee that he will be on the card at 'Mania.

However, he won't be in the title mach, and sure as hell won't be in MITB, so there isn't really anywhere he can go except for grudge match. While its true that WWE often cut angles short, I don't think that will happen here. The Kane angle is probably part of a storyarc that will see him turn face at the end. The HBK - JBL feud is not going to have long lasting consequences, so it is going to have a big match pay off. Maybe something like "If you beat me, I'll give you a million dollars".

This angle has been building up since just after Cyber Sunday, and with that in mind, I can't see the big match payoff being on No Way Out. I think Cena - JBL will be a dusty finish, and HBK will screw JBL in the rematch at NWO.

I can't reiterate enough how much I don't want this to happen. JBL's match at the last 'mania was a contender for the worst match on the card, which when you consider that there was a Ric Flair match, is unbelievably poor.

We'll know more after the Rumble, but for now, I see this as the only likelihood.

Well if the WWE goes the route of JBL vs. HBK, consider this. Now I'll prefix this by saying that this is a delusional idea, but it might work.

Say Orton doesn't face Cena at Mania, and Orton either faces CM Punk, a feud that has had the groundwork laid out, but never went anywhere, or Orton faces Steve Austin at Wrestlemania 25. This leaves John Cena, who would he defend the title against? Say JBL does win the title, however unlikely, at the Royal Rumble. This will set up the Texas sized Shawn Michaels vs. JBL match at Wrestlemania 25.

You have Shawn Michaels vs. JBL, you have Orton vs. someone other then John Cena, where does John Cena go?

John Cena vs. the Undertaker? If you want to talk about a match that will have the live crowd pumped up beyond all recognition, and if you want to bring a guy in to face the Undertaker that has a legit shot at ending the streak, there it is right there. John Cena, the face of teh company, vs. the Streak. That has big money written all over it.

Michaels vs JBL plain and simple is not WM material and deff not for WM25. I'd rather watch Cena vs Orton 1 on 1 for the 4th time in the last year and a half (AND EVERYONE knows how against I am of that match happening at WM25 so that says a lot).

Cena vs Taker is so much lower then HBK vs Taker. We saw Cena vs Taker on raw like 2 years ago, just like Taker vs HHH was thrown away recently on SD. The only one of two logical matches for Taker is him and HBK as one.

Maybe do Cena, Orton, and Jericho triple threat (I know not great but what other original idea do they have? Cena vs Orton or Cena vs Jericho? I would hope not). This was the advertised match for Armageddon then they switched it so makes me think they switched to save it for WM (Good decission if they did because that would leave them having no special match for WM even though its not special but its different)

I PRAY to God SD's main event is Edge vs Christian vs Hardy vs Hardy or have it a TLC match. That is the main event and should even go over Taker and HBK IMO.

I already know the next question is what about HHH? Well heres an idea (not great but original i THINK), the match would be pretty good. Have DX vs Brothers of Destruction (kanes turning face it seems like anyway and what other roll could he have at WM?) and maybe even have JBL be special guest ref and turn on Michaels. I know Undertaker deserves more then a tag match but lets face it (I know none of us want to and I dont either) hes not getting any younger, and did you see how bad he looked after his match with Shelton Benjamin on SD with his limping? Plus its against DX not just against any tag team and this would allow the true match to go over being the fatal four way or four way TLC match. This could be built up to be the sub ME. Lets also face HHH and Edge or HHH and Hardy has happened to many times and in less then a year and shouldnt even be on WM25 and I think WWE may know this.

I'm hoping for something to go down between HBK and UT, and maybe finalize at this years Summerslam (I'm going to be there) and have them in a HIAC and have Bret Hart involved as a special ref (reversal from back in 98). Between WM and SS gives UT time to get surgery and 4 months should be enough time, and if not at Summerslam then Survivor Series.

I just wanted to respond to tastycles about where to put JBL. I agree that he will be on the card in some way, but another option that would allow to keep the HBK vs. taker and the main event titles intact would be if JBL becomes involved in a feud with punk over the intercontinental title. That would make more sense as he really is not main event caliber, and being around the intercontinental title seems to be a much better place for him.

I have 3 Main Matches in mind for this year's 25th Anniversary, of Wrestlemania. Those 3 Main matches are..

The Undertaker v. Shawn Michaels: It's a wildly assumed match-up that everyone has gone from hearing rumors of, to hoping flat-out that it'll take place. Mania is going to be IN Texas, and it's highly unlikely that Shawn Michaels will be a Champion or involved in a Championship match.. so because of that, I can only hope the Undertaker's fate will be the same.. so we can get this gem of a match.

Both guys could be face, and this match SHOULD be the Main Event. If those two factors were involved, you'll be looking at the Undertaker's newest, biggest and greatest threat to ending his Undefeated streak.

W.W.E. Championship: Edge v. Christian: I'm gonna say it bluntly. Fuck Jeff Hardy, even now that he's finally done what 70% of the W.W.E. Universe wanted him to do, he's still not WrestleMania Main Event worthy. However, Christian returning and being revealed as not just the guy who'd been attacking Jeff Hardy.. but more importantly, the guy who'd been "setting up" Edge as the person behind the attacks, now that's a return feud I'd greatly want to see.

Could you imagine an Edge v. Christian, WrestleMania Heavyweight title match? I honestly think with as good as both men have become, it'd rival that of their 2001 feud. But if you honestly want to add in Jeff Hardy, then fuck it all.. toss Matt Hardy in as well, and make it a Fatal Four Way Ladder match. Likely with the Money in the Bank match, that's NOT going to happen.. but it'd be the only worth-wile match to see involving them. I just hope Triple H. stays the fuck away from this title picture.

World Heavyweight Championship: John Cena v. Randy Orton: Let Randy Orton win the Royal Rumble. It'll be another mile-stone in Orton's career, and more meaningful to a guy like Orton than it was to Cena or Taker.

Take the feud that never had a proper ending, Cena/Orton, and make it a WrestleMania Championship match. For the shear hell of it, make it a Last Man Standing contest. Why? Because Cena got injured the last time they were suppose to fight in an L.M.S. match.. and the last L.M.S. match Orton was in, he got injured. It'd have an incredible build and one I'd be greatly looking forward to.

Add that onto the fact that Randy Orton has now built himself a nice little faction, with Priceless and you have two guys who can build their careers off fighting Cena in the build-up to Mania. It works out perfectly.

This sounds good. Even the Cena Orton with them doing a LMS match cuz they never had that one at NM I could deal with as long as it's not the ME.

Edge vs Christian is good, but add vs both Hardys in a TLC (they'll have the MITB match so make it a TLC or hardcore match instead) would be great and I'd say put it over the Taker and Michaels match IMO. There really isnt any room for HHH this year in the ME. I swear if they add him to Edge vs Christian, or Edge vs Chritian vs Hardy vs Hardy everyone is going to know how pathetic and much of a whinny bitch HHH really is.

HBK vs Taker ONLY if Taker is ok enough to do it. His knees are shit and you can tell he's not getting younger. You want both men at their best to do this match or at least be able to put on their best. If not then do my idea of DX vs Kane and Taker w/ JBL as Special Guest Referee and screw Michaels with Taker pinning him so Taker is 17-0.

I agree with your post and I am glad someone agrees. Only wildcard is what they going to do with HHH if its Taker vs Michaels and Edge vs Christian vs Hardy vs Hardy? Cant add him to Orton and Cena LMS cause that be last years WM ME all over again but LMS rules instead. IDK seems like they dont have a TON of options with a lot of the wresters this year.

I think too many people have built Triple H. to be this "unstoppable" Main Event monster. Everyone is worried and concerned that Triple H. has to wrestle in either the Main Event, or a Championship match.. when the fact is, he truly doesn't.

I also get that some would even say "But that isn't our way of thinking, that's who he is and what he'd do. He'll feel that he deserves to be in the Championship match or the Main Event, because everything else is beneath him, to him."

That's the biggest crock of shit I've ever heard. I get the guy is in bed with the "Boss's Daughter" and I get that a lot of Triple H.-isque moves have come off questionable decisions, but when it boils down to it.. Vince McMahon isn't going to ruin his company, or put his biggest, most important (and especially with it being the 25th anniverary) show.. in a bad position.

McMahon will do what he feels is best for the company. Triple H. still has a butt-load of supporters and is a qualified Main Eventer for Mania's, more so than the likes of a Jeff Hardy or Christian.

But Triple H. being left out doesn't mean he wouldn't/couldn't have a suitable opponent on the undercard.

The Big Show: Easily the best opponent for lack of any type of storyline. Triple H. could be cost a W.W.E. title shot because of the Big Show, and they could build off a one-month feud with that storyline.

Vladimir Kozlov: While their Survivor Series match was complete, utter and pure shit.. it never did have a true winner, and Kozlov (to my knowledge) is still undefeated. So if it'd make all the Triple H. haters happy, let him defeat Kozlov at Mania.

Mr. Kennedy: Everyone was hoping and wishing for this match originally anyways. It'd just be a mid-card match instead of a Main Event match, and it won't have a title involved.

M.V.P.: Vickie Guerrero isn't likely going to be out of storylines soon. And M.V.P. along with Triple H. seem to be her two biggest issues, outside of Hardy. So why not attempt forcing one against the other. It'd be another great match-up that a lot of people wouldn't mind seeing, and a great under-card match to boot.

So as you can see, there are still plenty of options that are just as suitable to face Triple H. at WrestleMania.

I just thought about this today, and i haven't seen anyone mentioned it yet. Since there is the thought of Austin vs. Hogan this year. Instead of Austin vs. The Rock. And if Triple h would stay on the course that he is. (Which is hopefully no where near the title.) What if we could see Triple h vs The Rock matchup? They had one of the best feuds in the attitude era. And it would be a great match... I doubt we would see it, but would be a great idea for match.... just a thought.

1. World Heavyweight Championship - John Cena vs. Randy Orton
This should close the show. Arguably the best in the business. And hell, I know I'm gonna get popped, but LET RANDY CLOSE THE SHOW. Let Rhodes & Dibiase win the titles at mania (maybe a run-in from DH Smith) and this would be do a shitload of things for Legacy. I doubt WWE will let a heel close the show, but I can dream right?

2. WWE Championship - Edge vs. Triple H
Give HHH his damn title and pray to God it is his last reign. He hasnt won at a Wrestlemania since his mediocre match against Booker T in Seattle. But please dont let the ego close the show.

3. Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker
It's gotta happen. Screw JBL.

4. Jeff Hardy vs. Christian
Whatever. I agree with whoever wanted to put Christian against Edge in the main event but we all know it wont happen. Save it for 26.

5. Chris Jericho vs. Shane McMahon
I would love to put Stone Colds name against Jericho. But I just dont see it happening. Perhaps he can be the referee in this match as I cant see him not being involved in a match somehow. Vince comes back and sides with Jericho, firing Stephanie as GM. Shane tries to side with his dad but Vince rejects him as well. So the siblings decide to partner up to take down their evil father. If Shane wins, him and Steph are co-Gm's but if Jericho wins, Vince stays. Stephanie screws her brother in the match and embraces with her daddy after the match ala mania 2000. Perhaps the beginning of another McMahon faction. This is totally out there but Jericho has to be in a "big" match and i cant see him being in the title picture.

6. Tag Team Championship - M&M vs. Priceless vs. Cryme Tyme
Give the titles to Priceless (read Orton vs. Cena)

7. Intercontinental Championship - CM Punk (c) vs. Kane or JBL
Dont know who to pick. Either will be fine. If its JBL, Punk retains. If its Kane, give him the title. See what he can do.

---to be continued.

The card to WM is in order of battles!

1) World Tag Team Championships: The Miz and Morrison VS Cryme Time VS Princeless --» The return of Tag Team matches to Wrestlemania! Will be a very solid match, and Princeless (Cody and Ted) will be won the titles...

2) MITB --» CM Punk, Shelton Benjamim, MVP, Kennedy, Matt Hardy, Kofi, Khali e Finlay --» Again as last year I believe this fight is the second of the night! Money in The Bank, is a type of match, who will have very atletic wrestlers, to propose a great match! Why Khali? To give more impact to major attacks of the night! MVP will win, to future major feud!

3) Match for Brand Supremecy --» Kane VS Big Show --» Like last year, for sure there will be a fight to fight the best brand ... And nothing better than having one monsters against each other. Big Show wins to Smackdown...

4) ECW Championship: Evan Bourne VS Jack Swagger --» I think this match will happen... Bourne without doubt deserves a chance for the title and nothing better than the grand stage of Wrestlemania to make it happen! And he will win the Title for a explosion of the people!

5) Christian VS Jeff Hardy (Street Fight) --» This Match will happen! Because, i Think at Royal Rumble Christian will return to screw Jeff Hardy's title! The feud will be envolve and culminate at Wrestlemania in Street Fight! Jeff will win in a very solid match!

6) WWE Championship --» Triple H VS Edge --» One of Wrestlemania Main Event... Edge will win the title at Royal Rumble and Triple H will win the chance to fight at Wrestlemania... A good match, for to of the best superstars of wwe! Triple H will win in a solid match!

7) Womens Championship --» Beth Pheonix VS Mickie James VS Melina --» Divas match for this title... And the WOmens Division deserve a decent match at Wrestlemania... Mickie James wins to regain the Title

8) McMahon VS McMahon (Vince VS Step) --» Chris Jericho VS Stone Cold with Shane McMahon Special Referee --» I think this match will be on! Because Vince will return on next Raw and will probably bring back Chris Jericho and Step in and take command of the Raw... In the future Step and Vince will have a feud, and and will culminate at Wrestlemania in this fight! Stone Cold will win...

9) Shawn Michaels VS Undertaker --» Please Vince, give us this match! HBK/JBL are very stupid... And the fans undoubtedly deserve this fight! Undertaker will win, on the best match of the night!

10) World Heavyweight Championship --» John Cena VS Randy Orton --» The Last match of The night! And a match with two of the Best Superstars of WWE! Great Match, in Main Event! Cena will retain his title at Royal Rumble, and Randy Orton will win Rumble Match! And this two will culiminate on Wrestlemania! Great Match! Randy Orton will win and regain a great reined!

This is what I expect.

1. Hardy vs. Swagger (c) Extreme Rules:
Great match to warm up the crowd. Christian interferes and Swagger wins.

2. Priceless vs. miz & morrison (c):
I can see Priceless, cryme time, and snuka and Manu fight for the #1 contendership with priceless winning. Great back and forth match between arguably the two best tag teams currently. Priceless wins.

3. MITB: Bourne, Mysterio, kingston, kennedy, mvp, kane, umaga, dolph ziggler
there is a great mixture of speed and strength. Overall great match, with MVP and kennedy fighting at the top for the suitcase. Both grab it fall to the ground. It's a tie. It would develop their feud even more.

4. Pheonix (c) vs. McCool (c):
This would be a great women's match seeing that both are very talented. Maria screws McCool. Beth wins.

5. Punk (c) vs. Benjamin (c):
This would be the Raw vs. Smackdown match. I originally wanted benjamin in MITB, but if he is not going to win, I rather have this. They are both very athletic. Would be a great match. Punk wins cleanly.

6. Mcmahon vs. Mcmahon
This is where I see Steph vs. Vince. Each will choose their wrestler. Vince chooses Jericho to piss of steph. then Steph chooses HHH. Gives HHH something todo. Guest referee is non other than AUSTIN. Jericho loses.

7. Edge vs. Hardy (c) TLC:
They have the history. Depending on what creative does, I see this match happening. Christian comes out to help edge, Matt comes out to attack christian. Hardy is distracted, get's put through tables. Edge wins. Leads to a new wonderful feud between edge/christian vs hardy's.

8. Taker vs. HBK
It's going to happen.

9. Cena (c) vs. Orton No DQ
Cena and Orton has already been done. a LMS match would be great, but there is a time constraint. make it a no DQ. very good back and forth match. Orton wins. Priceless comes out. We have legacy, all with gold closing the show.

That's what I predict. depending on the rumble, we'll see what happens.

HHH vs Edge WWE championship - Edge will win at the rumble after Christian costs Jeff the title at No Way Out HHH will win the elimination chamber and go on to headline Wrestlemania and win the title back setting u a proper feud between the two

Cena vs Jericho World Heavyweight Championship Jericho will win the rumble and go on to face Cena, Cena will make Jericho tap to the stfu setting up a rematch at Backlash in a submission match

Christian vs Jeff Hardy Christian will return at the Royal Rumble to side with his brother and cost Jeff the title setting up a feud where Christian will make his in ring debut beating Jeff Hardy

Evan Bourne vs Jack Swagger ECW Title Evan Bourne will win the ECW battle Royal Dark match as a surprise entrant and go on to defeat Jack Swagger to win his first title

Koslov vs Undertaker Koslov's undefeated streak will be put to the test against the deadman it will be a good back and forth match but Taker puts him down after two tombstones

Randy Orton vs Shane McMahon Steve Austin Special guest referee Shane McMahon will defend his father's honor with Steph in his corner. Priceless will try to get involved but are taken out by Snuka and Manu. Orton is down in a corner. Shane goes up top to go coast to coast when Steph knocks him off the ropes. He gets up to a RKO.
Orton wins and celebrates with Priceless and Steph. The next night Steph explains it was all a setup because Jericho got Vince to come back and that it is her show. Setting up a war for control of Raw. Orton tries to sneak a RKO on Austin but gets stunned along with the rest of priceless

HBK vs JBL Boring feud that we always get at WM (ala Finlay vs JBL) HBK get his charisma back and wins

MVP, Benjamin, CM Punk, Mr. Kennedy, Umaga, Matt Hardy, John Morrison, Kofi Kingston Spot fest with Morrison finally making his transition to main event by grabbing the case

Beth Phoenix vs Michelle McCool Raw vs Smackdown and diva match all in one kill two birds with one stone

Ok, im getting slightly nervous now about wrestlemania 25. The potential is there for a killer card but the WWE might pull an invasion and fuck it up. I am legitimately frightened about the prospect of the WWE missing the boat on Shawn Michales vs. The Undertaker they may be starting to think that people want to see jibble vs. michaels more which im pretty sure no one does. Michales and jibble are also both from texas and in the minds of the WWE that combined with their recent angle may be enough to put it on the card. Then Undertaker will most likely be shoved into another streak feeder match against the fruit of the month monster which in this case would be Kozlov. WHAT THE FUCK. I can picture that match happening in my head right now, both of them would try to bust out a bunch of MMA style stuff and the crowd would not be into it at all.

Another scary prospect is that of Triple H winning the royal rumble and going on to wrestlemania to regain the WWE Championship in the main event to close the show. This CANNOT happen, but it is very possible that it will. Him and Orton are the favorites to win the Rumble tomorrow night and Edge will most likely be taking the strap from Hardy, this could set up the traditional storyline with the face rumble winner chasing the belt held by heel a champion and winning it at wrestlemania....with triple h....

Lastly the Money In the Bank ladder Match. Now im hoping for a John Morrison win here, but really anything could happen. It is very very possible that we will see MVP taking down the breifcase which would be sooooo much worse its not even funny.

So in conclusion ladies and gentlemen, hold onto something and brace yourselves for disaster.

After tomorrow we'll finally have the idea of what the main event should be. I really hope that Orton doesn't face Cena for the title. If nothing else, it's too predictable. i like the idea of having the main match be something that we either don't see coming or have never seen before. That's where I think WWE has backed themselves into a corner: there's very few big matches left to have. They wasted HHH and Edge at the Great American Bash for what? It's a match that no one really remembers as it was really just a way to give HHH another victory as champion. That being said, I'd like to see Taker and Cena go at it. how many bigger matches are there to have for Wrestlemania? None that i can think of. Those two to the best of my knowledge have never gone at it, and can you imagine the pop if Taker in his home state and hometown beats Cena for the title? It would be absolutely huge. It also gives you a sense that the streak could end as Cena is clearly the future, not Taker. Either way, I hope it's not Cena and Orton as it would nearly bore me to tears to see that happen. Good match, but there could be something better if WWE rolls the dice.

Alright so Mickey Rourke is going to wrestle at wrestlemania. Its brilliant if you ask me. He mentioned Jerichos name. So Im guessing....

anyway heres my card

JOHN CENA VS RANDY ORTON- GUEST REF: AUSTIN: ITS A GOOD MATCH. I GET TIRED OF AUSTIN GEUEST REFFING BUT THIS MAKES SENSE.

TRIPLE H VS EDGE- SEEMS LIKELY THOUGH I WOULD NOT RULE OUT TAKER VS TRIPLE H EXCEPT IT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE RIGHT NOW. CAGE MAYBE INTERFERING OR EVEN BEING ADDED TO MATCH WOULD ADD INTRIGUE

MICKEY ROURKE VS CHRIS JERICHO- I AM SURE SOME PEOPLE WONT LIKE THIS BUT ITS MANIA, VINCE ALWAYS DOES THIS TYPE OF SHIT, EXCEPT THIS IS SO MUCH MORE INTERESTING THAN TRUMP OR MAYWEATHER. FUNNY THING IS THAT IT COULD ACTUALLY BE A GOOD MATCH. AND YOU KNOW JERICHO AND ROURKE PROMO COULD BE GOLD. I HOPE THIS HAPPENS!

UNDERTAKER VS SHAWN MICHAELS- NOW I DONT KNOW HOW THEY ARE GOING TO GET THERE BUT CMON PLEASE!

MATT HARDY VS JEFF HARDY- THIS IS A LOCK. CRAZY THING IS THAT THIS CARD REALLY IS NOT UNREALISTIC SO FAR AND I THINK IT IS PRETTY FUCKING STRONG.

MITB- DONT FEEL LIKE LISTING WHO WILL BE IN IT EXCEPT I WILL SAY CHRISTIAN CAGE WINS IT OR MVP WINS IT. I ACTUALLY THINK HAVE CAGE NOT WIN MITB AND THEN COST EDGE TITLE. BUT WHO KNOWS. DONT KNOW WHAT TO DO WITH CHRISTIAN, HE HASNT EVEN APPEARED YET.

JERRY SWAGGER VS ROB VAN DAMM- WOULD BE NICE, IF NOT VAN DAMM THEN BOURNE. EITHER WAY A NICE MATCH.

NOT SURE WHAT ELSE.....BUT I LIKE THIS CARD AND I FOR ONE AM PRETTY IMPRESSED WITH WHAT WWE IS DOING LATELY.

I still need to watch RAW in a few hours to see whats gonna happen with RKO... But so far, we have 1 locked match so far, IMO:

Matt Hardy vs Jeff Hardy:
Seriously? I mean, unless creative comes with something really clever, I cant see this potential match to be a Thrill. I rather watch Christian Cage vs Jeff Hardy, but I guess we will have to wait to see Captain Charisma again...

Another thing that I think it's a lock, is RVD in the MITB match. How exciting is that!!!?? The possibilities are interesting if they give him the shot. Hopefully he stays away from ECW and becomes once again Mr. Monday Night.

Also I don't know why, but does anyone else sees Melina in Playboy this year?? A rematch with Beth Phoenix is the most logical thing after the rumble, so I can see her winning again in the big one.

I dont know about you guys, but this year Mania looks very, very promising, contrary to the very predictable Mania 24.

World Heavyweight Championship: John Cena (c) v. Randy Orton: Whelp, with Randy's Rumble victory it looks like he'll head strong into WrestleMania as a serious threat. Afterall, it seems almost logical until one of the McMahon's reveal themselves as an Orton backer, Orton's "career" is on the line if he can't win and legally remain with the company.

Honestly, I see Randy Orton's "Age of Orton" continuing at WrestleMania, when Shane McMahon (or Vince) reveals himself to be on Orton's side, helping him to win the Championship. Cena's title reign right now isn't exciting, and it seems like it's just something that's passing the time until Orton can take over on the biggest stage of them all.

The only thing that truly has me stumped is the company putting Orton over Cena, two year's in a row at WrestleMania. I'm not 100% sold that'll happen, but short of Orton winning the title at No Way Out, then dropping it back to Cena at Mania.. I don't see how Orton could lose this match.

W.W.E. Championship: Triple H. (c) v. Edge: *sigh* Well, all of my attempts to believe Triple H. wouldn't be in the Heavyweight title match ended last night. If Jeff Hardy would've retained, I would've believed that he'd go straight through to WrestleMania with Triple H. not being anywhere near the title picture.

However it seems Hardy is being bumped out of the title picture, and with Edge retaking the spot that only mainly leaves Triple H. to be the guy to feud with. Now, I'm sure many of you have noticed I have Triple H. being the Champion going into this match, and that's because I can't see Edge surviving the Elimination Chamber against the likes of Big Show, Undertaker, and Triple H.

I do, however, see Edge letting Vickie Guerrero once again push him back into a Championship picture much the same way Stephanie pushed Triple H. in all of those title pictures so many years ago. This is basically like Mini-H.H.H. v. H.H.H. in so many ways. I don't know who'd win yet.. but if they continue the hot potato streak, Edge will be an 8 time Champion after Mania's over.

Diva's Playboy Match: Melina & Kelly Kelly v. Beth Phoenix & "the fan": Melina WON'T pose for Playboy. Kelly likely would though, and that's my guess as to who's going to. I don't see a single's match for the Championship now that Melina's won it. But I do see a Tag contest with the two heel (upset) diva's taking on the Women's Champion and the playboy cover girl. I'd assume Kelly would win the match for her team.

Texas Sized Grudge Match: The Undertaker v. Shawn Michaels: After last night, the groundwork has been laid out. Shawn Michaels seems to be turning heel, dispite an up-coming final nail in the coffin of the J.B.L. storyline, his Superkick to Cena was what made me believe H.B.K. will be heel by the time WrestleMania comes around.

I don't get why they couldn't just let both guys be faces, as it'd make the outcome seem far more hard to predict. If Shawn Michaels is heel, I don't see him winning. While I still don't see him winning in general, at least if he's face it's possible.

Money in the Bank: Jeff Hardy v. Matt Hardy v. C.M. Punk v. Shelton Benjamin v. M.V.P. v. Chris Jericho: I don't think it's a question of both Hardy's, Punk & Benjamin being M.I.T.B. contenders, I think it's a question of.. 6 guys, or 8. If it's 6, then I fully believe it'll be the 6 I have listed. If it's 8, add in Mr. Kennedy & Kofi Kingston.

I'm gonna be honest here and shock a lot of people. I think C.M. Punk will win this time around, making himself and history continue to be in his favor. He'd be the only M.I.T.B. winner to win back to back, or twice in general. (since Edge didn't technically win that 2nd case IN the match itself)

Furthermore, if Punk wins the case here.. I think they do the right thing and finally push Punk to be a worthy contender, before he cashes in properly. (short of a heel turn, and doing an Edge-like cash-in) I can't see another face cash-in, in heelish fashion.

As far as the Hardys go.. their feud will happen in a single's match at No Way Out, that's my guess. And then they'll go seperate ways (since they're still on different brands) only to meet again in the Money in the Bank contest. Benjamin, Jericho, M.V.P., Kingston & anyone else randomly tossed in will just be there to be a highlight reel.

Personally besides the usual Money in the Bank, Diva's match, and one other i see there being two different Wrestlemania's

Obviously Matt Hardy V Jeff Hardy after last night its as definite as the money in the bank match.

Then there will either be

Edge V Randy Orton V Triple H

Shawn Michaels V JBL

John Cena V Undertaker

Or

Edge V Randy Orton

Triple H V Undertaker

John Cena V JBL V Shawn Michaels

I just don't see either Austin wrestling or it being Michaels V Undertaker, I know they teased it last night but you could say they did at the last 2 Rumbles. Also I don't reckon Orton will challenge Cena, as it'll probably end up Steph firing Orton from raw, Orton going SD, and challenging Edge.

The only way i see Orton staying on Raw is if Steph or Shane are revealed as the other member of the legacy.

Things always change though, so in 5 weeks time it might be a completely different card. This is imo the most unpredictable Wrestlemania Card in 7+ years.

World Tag team championship Cyme Tyme V The Legacy V Goldust & Boogeyman
Cyme Tyme win the titles heading into wrestlemania. A Cody Rhodes and Goldust feud has been teased the past couple weeks. Godust teams with Boogeyman becuase they are both...freaks. The Legacy with the win.

Matt V Jeff Hardy
Obviously...The match will be a no DQ match with alot of back and forth action and then interference by christian last second for matt to win.

MITB CM Punk V John Morrison V Kane V The Brian Kendrick V Hurricane Helms V Shelton Benjamin V MVP V R-Truth V Kofi Kingston V The Miz.
Thats Right 10 participents. one of the best MITB matches so far. lots of ladder work. ezekiel tries to interfere by taking out kane but kane chokeslames him onto a ladder and he out. MVP just wins and after the match a funny bit with Mr Kennedy.

Diva Tag Match Maria & Eve V Beth Pheonix & 'The Fan'
Maria will be Diva champ and Pheonix will be Womans champion. rosa will attack Eve on smakcdown making this. Eve gets the pin after 'The Fan' screws up

THE UNDERTAKER V SHAWN MICHEALS
this time it has to happen. people dont want to see hbk v jbl. very very good match and taker wins after hbk goes for the superkick and taker ducks grabs his leg overhis shoulder then tombstone.

MICKEY ROURKE V CHRIS JERICHO
We all know its bound to happen. The match will be better than we think though. Jericho will dominate most of the match but knocks out the ref by accident. the emergency ref is none other than Stone Cold Steve Austin. Rourke wins after stone cold interferes and gives Jericho a stunner. Rourke and jericho celebrate but usuall stone colsd stuff.

WWE Championship Match EDGE V TRIPLE H V Big Show
Big Show will win the elimanation chamber match at No Way Out, Vickie cheats on edge with Big show. Edge uses his rematch clause but before the match HHH takes out big show. Edge wins back the championship. we find out HHH and edge had a deal if HHH took out big show he got a title shot at wrestlemania. but vickie puts Big show in the match. Dont know who wins but its out of HHH and Edge.

World Heavyweight Championship Match CENA V ORTON
Cena wins chamber match. orton won rumble. Orton Comes out with the Legacy. lots of reversal from finishers. just cant see Orton Lose.

i hope this is how it ends up becuase it sounds good.except maybe the 10 man MITB match. if it is only eight take out the last two.
