[Official] WrestleMania XXV Discussion

Two new predictions. MVP will turn face some time between now & Mania. He'll be on a losing streak until the actual event. Mania will be his first victory in about 7 months. I don't see how that'll elevate MVP at all, and it won't help the person he eventually beats.

And my prediction for Undertaker's opponent is Jeff Hardy. I'm guessing he'll turn heel this Friday on Smackdown. He'll help Big Show win at Survivor Series. As it's a Casket Match, Taker can have his bi-monthly holiday. Come back at Rumble AGAIN, and scrae the shit out of Jeff. Leading to a Mania match.

world heavyweight championship Batista vs Cena 2 buried alive. winner Cena

wwe championship Jeff hardy vs Edge vs HHH hell in a cell or TLC triple threatthis would be just sick and fun to watch. winner Edge.

Houston showdown Undertaker vs HBK hell in a cell where it all started ends here again. they hyped it again on 3 hour raw taker looked at Shawn loke his new prey. winner HBK

Vladimir Koslov vs Big Show Last man standing

money in the bank MVP vs Umaga vs Kenndrick vs Benjamin vs Evan Bourne vs Morrison. this needs to be a Umaga or Morrison win as these two should already be main Eventers.

Melina vs Beth Phonieax steel cage loser has strip all there clothing on TV no Censoring as it is on paper view womens tittle. winner dont care want to see both naked.

I got my Wrestlemania tickets last night. Row 9 one section J on the floor, I'm so excited.

WHC: Batista vs. Cena (C)...Cena will win the title at some point between now and Wrestlemania. Batista will win the number 1 contenders elimination chamber at No Way Out. They will have they're rematch at Wrestlemania, with Cena pulling out the win.

WWE Title: HHH (C) vs. Edge...HHH will hold the title until Wrestlemania. Edge will get his title shot after getting revenge on Vickie and The Big Show.

U.S. Title: R-Truth (C) vs. The Brian Kendrick vs. Gregory Helms... After nearly 2 years out of wrestling, Gregory Helms comes back to win the U.S. Title.

Shawn Micheals vs. The Undertaker...A match we've been wanting to see for a long time. It seems as if Micheals has always been running from UT. Its now time for them to wrestle.

Big Show vs. Umaga...Need something for them to do.

Random Diva Match...Probably have a Playboy gimmick and a celebrity involved.

Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho...Randy Orton will continue on his tweener character and costs Jericho the title. They have their blowoff match.

ECW Title Match: Extreme Rules Match- Finlay (C)vs. Tommy Dreamer vs. Matt Hardy vs. Jack Swagger...Have Finlay beat Matt Hardy in a rematch and feud. Slowly build up the Dreamer and Swagger feud. Have them all meet with Tommy Dreamer winning.

MITB: Jeff Hardy vs. Mr. Kennedy vs. MVP vs. John Morrison vs The Miz vs. Santino Marella vs Kofi Kingston vs. Shelton Benjamin.. They tried to have 8 in last years, but Jeff Hardy got suspended. There are too many Smackdown people in this match, but I can't think of anyone on RAW. All the regulars are there, and either Morrison, MVP, or Mr. Kennedy wins it. Santino would be hilarious as usual in this match by trying to win by doing the least amount of work.

Before I go on to my predictions The beared one HBK and the Undertaker have fought numerous of times that how they intoduced Kane.

WHC
Cena vs Batista- Everybody knew this would be the main event as soon as Batista got drafted the only this won't happen if one them are injured. *Winner* Cena

If HBK retires this would be the best sendoff in his home state in match that brought him his first real gold
*Winner* HBK

WHC Title Match

Cena v. Orton (c)

Cena needs to get this monkey off of his back and finally put Orton down. Orton and Edge are the two best 'entertainers' to chase into Mania. I see Orton taking the title in some mess of a match around the Rumble, and Cena taking the title at the big show.

WWE Title Match

Triple H v. Edge (c) v. Jeff Hardy

Edge takes the title some time around the Rumble as well, with Hardy winning the Rumble and Triple H shoehorning his way in this match some how. Hardy for the win.

Undertaker v. Kozlov/Umaga

After taking the title two years in a row (and losing it to Edge two years in a row) I think they'll put Taker back into some kind of monster mash match at Mania. Taker remains flawless at Mania once again.

Jericho v. HBK

This show down would be Texas sized, and incorperate some kind of gimmick, possibly No Holds Barred to keep the action for the most part in the ring. Mania's a great place to end this long running feud. HBK costing Jericho the title in the near future?

Money in the Bank
Kendrick v. Morrison v. Shelton v. Kennedy v. MVP v. CM Punk v. Kane v. Kofi

MVP to take the briefcase. Heel or face TBD.

Batista v. Big Show

Interbrand match similar to last years versus Umaga, with Batista most likely taking the victory.

Matt Hardy (c) v. Finlay v. Henry v. Bourne(?)

If Bourne is back and healthy in time. A Bourne/Hardy feud could make for an exciting ECW. Matt Hardy heel turn would only be a plus.

Correction: Replace Bourne with Swagger and he will take the title.

JBL v. Mysterio

JBL seems to be getting his own Mania match as long as he's active on the roster and this Mania will be no different. I see Mysterio taking the title from Jericho and continuing to perpetuate the transitional champion moniker after JBL costs him the title to Orton.

UPDATED PREDICTIONS

Still tough to tell, as the Royal Rumble is normally the real test for what is happening, but now that Survivor Series had two title changes and this past episode of Smackdown accomplished a lot, I have a feeling I have a really good idea of what's going to happen.

I noted before that there's a standard outline for WrestleMania cards. They usually have the same sort of matches, just with different players each time around. So without further ado, here's my list, revamped to what I think the WWE currently has in mind:

WWE Championship: Edge vs. Jeff Hardy
--I wholeheartedly think and hope that Jeff will win the Royal Rumble and beat Edge at WrestleMania. If by some chance it isn't these two, then it will be because HHH has found a way in here, whether its a Triple Threat or if its Hardy/HHH or Edge/HHH. I can't see it being anybody but those three guys.

World Heavyweight Championship: John Cena vs. Batista
--I don't want it. Badly. I've seen it before and I have no interest in seeing these two take up a main event spot. If they were on the undercard, I'd be ok with it. I'd much, much rather prefer Cena vs Orton, but I just have a sinking feeling that they're going to have Batista beat Orton in the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out to face Cena, and then we'll have 3 more months of watching the same video packages from Summerslam. Ugh.

ECW Championship: Vladimir Kozlov vs. Mr. Kennedy
--As I've stated in other threads recently, I think Kozlov will beat Matt Hardy soon for the ECW title and hold it until they have Kennedy beat him. It could happen here.

Random Match #1: Undertaker vs. HBK
--HBK apparently wants to do it. Everybody wants to see it. Mr. WrestleMania versus The Streak. My two favorites of all time :) They've hinted at this time and time again. Taker eliminated HBK from the 07 Rumble, HBK eliminated Taker from the 08 Rumble, so I'd love to see them both eliminate each other at the 09 Rumble and use that as a sort of rubber-rumble-match between the two. Then they figure they have to settle it at Mania. If they do this, I hope they keep both face and do the traditional handshake moment. This needs to be celebratory of the 25 years of WrestleMania and arguably the two greatest performers in WWE history...not just another angle. It needs that prestige of being more than just "heel versus face".

Random Match #2
--Not sure.

McMahon/Celebrity
--There's usually a match that deals with a celebrity and/or a McMahon, and it seems like they're going to build up a storyline between Steph, Shane, and Vince.

Money in the Bank
--I think Morrison is going to be invested in a feud with HBK soon as a test, and if he impresses them, he'll win it. If not him, MVP has it in the bag. They alternate, it seems, on who wins the MITB every year. It went heel-face-heel-face, so now its heel again, and Morrison is due for a main event push as is MVP. Shelton will almost assuredly be in this match, but he has less of a chance of winning as those two do. I wouldn't be surprised if Bourne/Kingston was thrown in here to take Jeff Hardy's usual spot.

Women's Division
--You know we'll get something, but it doesn't matter. It'll take up 10 minutes tops. I wouldn't be too surprised if it was something like a Women's Champion vs. Diva's Champion thing with all the other divas as lumberjacks.

My predictions for Wrestlemania. I think both champs that were crowned at Survivor Series will keep the title until Wrestlemania. That would be the best choice since both champs are the biggest in the business right now.

WHC match:John Cena vs Randy Orton
I see Orton winning an elimination chamber match at No Way Out to go on to face Cena at WM. These two have great matches, and feuds, and I would love to see them have another match. I think Orton will take it from Cena here, which will lead to a feud between the two, leading into Backlash. Either way I would love to see this match.

WWE Championship: Jeff Hardy vs Edge
This one is almost a given. I see Jeff finding out that Edge was the one who attacked him, but the only way he would get another title shot is to win the Royal Rumble. I then see him winning the Rumble. I see Jeff finally getting the title at WM, seeing as it's the place he deserves to win it at.

ECW Title Match: Matt Hardy vs Vladimir Kozlov
I see them moving Kozlov to ECW, because he is not ready to be champ on Smackdown. I see him and Matt having a nice long feud leading into WM then having Kozlov finally taking the title from him.

Random Match: HBK vs Undertaker
I agreed with Nofate on this one. I think this match would be amazing, and I've been dieing to see it. This may be the last time they have the opportunity to put it on, seeing as both are very old. Still I see this happening, and personally I can't wait. I actually see them having HBK break the streak here.

Random Match 2: Triple H vs Chris Jericho:

I know it is a long shot seeing as it would involve moving Trips to Raw, but I'd really love to see this match. I think the promos could be great, and so would the match. I see Trips pulling this one out since he hasn't won a WM match in a few years, but it would still be a great match.

Money in the Bank: Morrison vs Miz vs Punk vs Shelton Benjamen vs Kofi Kingston vs Evan Bourne
If these are the 6 participants, this match would be AMAZING. These are the best athletes in the WWE right now, and I think the stunts that would be performed would be fucking sick. I see Bourne coming so close, only to have Morrison push the ladder over and having him win. This would be the match that steals the show if it happens.

Womens Matches Not sure.

These are the matches that I think have a great chance to happen, and matches I would love to see.

This isn't necessarily what I think will be the card but this is how I'd book it:

(WHC) Cena v Batista v Randy
I'm pretty sure it it will be between two of these guys but I'd throw all three into the mix just to spice it up. Cena would be the face, I'd have Batista turn into a monster heel and have Orton floating (as he seems to be doing now).

(WWE) HHH v Jeff Hardy
I'd have HHH win the strap back off Edge and like to see Jeff win the Rumble. Then these two would square off and finally, with the backing of the crowd, Jeff would win the big one. I think could be a great Wrestlemania moment with confetti being dropped down from the roof, Jeff crying and Matt coming out to celebrate with his brother. However, this would be shortlived. Out of nowhere, Matt (who earlier in the night would have won MITB) hits the Twist of Fate and gets the pinfall and leaves as the new champ to major heel heat.

(ECW) Bourne v Mysterio
I loved the electricity between these two last month and no doubt, they would put on an awesome match. I know Mysterio isn't on ECW but you could work around that. Of course, this depends if Bourne is fit.

MITB - Matt Hardy v Shelton v Kendrick v MVP v Kane v Kofi
I'd prefer six rather than eight guys in this match as too many cooks and all that. As mentioned above, Matt would get the win and cash in later in the night.

HBK v Morrison
I can see this match perhaps happening and I would love to see these two work at it. I love where they're going with this feud and believe Morrison could steal the show in there with Michaels. I'd still have HBK win but handshakes after for a great match, leading to a Morrison face turn.

Undertaker v Jericho (some stipulation)
Think these two could put on a a good show. Obviously we know the winner.

Edge v CM Punk
Don't know how I'd write this in as a storyline but I like this idea and I've left these two off the card so far. Perhaps there could be something on the line for both wrestlers (i.e. a shot at the title at Blacklash)

(Women title) Beth Phoenix v Mickie James
There will be a women's match and although this won't be it, these are the best two female wrestlers.

Over-the-top rope battle royal to face the IC champion
Perhaps a dark match like last year with the ECW bout and the winner faces the champion on the actual card. Big Show, JBL, Umaga, Mark Henry, Khali, Finlay, Cryme Tyme, R-Truth, The Miz, Team Priceless, Santino, Regal, Chavo, Kozlov could all be involved.

Think that just about covers it. There could be a celebrity involved or a returning wrestler like Christian, but that is what I'd go with if I had the current crop available. I especially lilke the Hardy idea.

WWE Championship Match: Edge (c) vs Jeff Hardy (SmackDown Elimination Chamber winner). Jeff Hardy wins the SmackDown Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out and then becomes number 1 contender to Edge's WWE Championship. Jeff wins the championship here, not sure if this match should be the main event. I don't think it should, since I think the Royal Rumble winner should always have the main, main event slot.

World Heavyweight Championship: John Cena (c) vs Randy Orton (Royal Rumble winner) vs Chris Jericho (RAW Elimination Chamber winner). Orton wins the Royal Rumble and opts to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship. Jericho sneaks a win in the Elimination Chamber and joins Orton and Cena in a triple threat match for the championship at WrestleMania. I would like Jericho to win, but I think it's more likely for Orton to win. Not 100% sure on this match, I can see a few different matches coming out of it.

Money In The Bank: Evan Bourne vs CM Punk vs MVP vs John Morrison vs Vladimir Kozlov vs Mr. Kennedy. We would have some high flyers with Bourne and an excellent opportunity for a Shooting Star Press off a ladder through a table or two perhaps. Although I think Kozlov or Kennedy should win it, maybe Kennedy because he won it before but never got to cash it in. Kozlov could be the monster in the match and cause a wreck.

Shawn Michaels vs The Undertaker: It's been said about a million times on this forum but even still, I will say it again. It's in Texas, so why not have two of Texas's greatest performers go at it, of course, The Undertaker would win. Would be a match for the ages though no doubt.

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Vince McMahon: I think this should happen. It's the Silver anniversary of WrestleMania and it wouldn't be right if there wasn't some altercation or a match with Steve and Vince. Steve has said he has one match left in him. Vince McMahon said in an interview that his character never wins and he would put Austin over for sure. It wouldn't be the best 'wrestling' match but it would be something entertaining.

World Tag Team Championship Match: Ted DiBiase (c) and Cody Rhodes (c) with Manu vs Batista and Rey Mysterio. I think one of the tag titles needs to be defended at WrestleMania so I suppose Ted and Cody could defend against Batista and Rey Mysterio since they are friends. Rhodes and Ted would retain though after Manu distracting Batista and then Cody and Ted double teaming Mysterio and sneaking the win with Ted pinning Rey.

WWE Womens Champion vs WWE Divas Champion: Beth Phoenix vs Michelle McCool. Not a title unification, but simply a champion vs champion match. Beth dominates most of the match. Santino runs in to try and help Beth, but causes Michelle to win. Beth snaps and finally turns on Santino and gives him the glam slam and bashes him up a bit.

ECW Championship Match: Matt Hardy vs The Big Show. The Big Show wins the over the top rope number 1 contenders match beating some other guys. Challenges Matt Hardy later in the night and takes the title off of him.

Interpromotional RAW vs SmackDown vs ECW Match: Triple H vs Kane vs Mark Henry. Triple H, Kane and Mark Henry win matches in order to represent their brand at WrestleMania in an Interpromotional Match. Triple H hasn't had a WrestleMania win in a while so I will give it to him.

According to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Shawn Michaels has pitched to wrestle The Undertaker at WrestleMania 25 in Houston, Texas. Obviously 'Taker would go over Michaels but the feeling is that the payoff for both Superstars would be very nice.

'Taker is expected to be around full-time for at least another year or two.

Oh I just creamed my pants a little more. Say what you will about these two and playing it down the last few years, but it's quite simple, these two in the rumble the last two years have been some of the best in ring action I have seen in this company for years.

HBK vs. the Undertaker, WM 25, Houston Texas, the Silver Anniversary. Two men that are arguably numbers 2 and 3 in Wrestlemania lure. Why in the hell wouldn't this match happen?

Oh I just creamed my pants a little more. Say what you will about these two and playing it down the last few years, but it's quite simple, these two in the rumble the last two years have been some of the best in ring action I have seen in this company for years.

HBK vs. the Undertaker, WM 25, Houston Texas, the Silver Anniversary. Two men that are arguably numbers 2 and 3 in Wrestlemania lure. Why in the hell wouldn't this match happen?

Well HBK looks like he'll be calling it quits at WrestleMania, and I can't think of a better match for him. I could name several for Taker. But for Shawn Michaels this is the best option. Somebody who is going to retire shouldn't leave with a win. And I've been saying it for ages, WrestleMania 25 needs big matches. This isn't new to people like us. But it's been so long that it's totally fresh again.

Don't get me wrong. I'd actually prefer to see Undertaker vs. Umaga & HBK put over a young wrestler. But it's not going to happen. And this is a hell of a lot better than Taker vs. Kozlov & HBK vs. HHH which I thought might happen.

Ok here is what i think...

Wwe championship
Edge vs jeff hardy

Just like many have already said i see hardy realizing it was edge that attacked him and going crazy. After losing at armaggedon i think vickie denies him another shot at the title which is when he wins the rumble and takes the title at mania. This would be a great match and i could see a stipulation being added like a ladder match or a TLC.

WHC match
John cena vs batista

I dont want to see it again but i do believe this is the direction things will head. What would be great is if by some way orton or jericho got in the match and won the title

MITB match
John morrison vs evan bourne vs cm punk vs kofi kingston vs mr kennedy vs MVP

It would be awsome if morrison won but i would be happy with kennedy or MVP too

Shawn micheals vs the undertaker

All reasons have been explained no reason to talk about it again

Some celebrity involvment. No clue who or what though.

Might as well give this an update.

Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker: I've been saying it for a year now, this match needs to happen, and this match should happen. I'm guessing we'll have a better indicator of what's going on by the time the Rumble rolls around. The Rumble is usually the big spot for the inter brand matchup to get it's legs underneath it (see Goldberg/Lesnar, Angle/Michaels).

WWE Title:
Edge vs. Jeff Hardy. Now I think a lot is to be decided still. If Hardy gets the title shot at the Rumble, then obviously Triple H will be facing Edge in this match. I say that the better storyline is Jeff vs. Edge. Triple H in another title match at Wrestlemania is just flat out boring. Jeff Hardy, the WWE needs to pull the trigger on this thing already.

WHC:
John Cena vs. Randy Orton.
Now I honestly think it's going to be Batisata/Cena 2, but if I'm booking this, it's going to be the match we should ahve had at Wrestlemania 24. Randy Orton is a house of fire. The guy has so much tweener heat it's insane. A match up with John Cena would be amazing. These two are the present and future of the company. Batista is not.

Batista vs. Triple H.
I'm getting that feeling. They teased it on this past Raw, and both are in need of a big time match. This match would be perfect for both men, with Triple H ultimately doing what he always does, going back over the person that once beat him.

That's what I'm feeling right now, but a more of a dream card would be...

Edge vs. a returning Christian Cage
Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy for the ECW championship.
Shawn Michaels vs. JBL in a both men retire match.
The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho (How in the hell have these two not had one match together in 9 fucking years).
Triple H vs. Batista (keep them out of the title matches please).
John Cena vs. Randy Orton: WHC
John Morrison vs. the Miz vs. R-Truth vs. Rey Mysterio vs. MVP vs. Kofi Kingston vs. CM Punk vs. Shelton Benjamin (MITB)

These are actually my predictions that I had posted in a different WM25 thread on here...I took a wild guess at Punk v. Orton for the IC Belt, and was called crazy by many people I know, but now with Punk having a shot at #1 contender, it looks possible...

Winner in italics

1. Money In The Bank Ladder Match:
Stone Cold Charlie Haas vs. Miz vs. John Morrison vs. Hurricane Helms vs. THE Brian Kendrick vs. Vladimr Kozlov (US Champ)

Charlie Haas goes over huge with the crowd as the hometown Rattlesnake, but plays no major part in the match, except maybe a stunner on Kozlov off the ladder. Miz turns face after leveling Morrison halfway up the ladder, setting up a nice feud, maybe eventually for the ECW strap. Hurricane Helms comes close, but never quite gets to the top, and the match ends with TBK hitting The Kendrick on Kozlov with everyone else laid out outside the ring, and climbing the ladder for the briefcase.

2. Women's Championship:
Melina (RAW Champ) vs. Natalya (Diva's Champ) vs. Gail Kim

Match starts with Natalya fighting off both faces, and a flurry of 2 counts. She gets frustrated and thrown off her game. Melina goes for a hurry up pin, but Gail Kim covers her for the 3, and RAW's Women's Belt.

3. ECW Championship:
Mark Henry (C) vs. Evan Bourne

Evan Bourne tries to carry Mark Henry through the match, only to fail...horribly. As Bourne climbs the ropes for the Shooting Star Press, Tony Atlas shoves him off the top rope, getting Mark Henry disqualified, but keeping the belt around his waist.

4. WWE Tag Team Championship:
Ryder/Hawkins (C) vs. MVP/R-Truth

Vickie forces MVP to turn face by putting him in match after match against unbeatable opponents. She puts him against her lackies in a title match, and makes him find his own tag partner. As the bells rings, he has no partner. A few minutes into the match, he looks beat, and R-Truth's music hits, as he comes through the crowd to save the day. He gets the hot tag, cleans house, and him and MVP walk out as tag champs.

5. Smackdown vs. RAW Brand Supremacy:
Cryme Tyme (World Tag Champs) w/ Kofi Kingston vs. Carlito, Primo, Umaga

Match starts out with Kofi and Carlito exchanging punches, until Primo tags himself in and Kofi gets the upper hand. He tags in Shad, and Primo races to tag in Umaga. Shad comes off the ropes for a few shoulder bumps, but Umaga takes it, and lands a nasty headbutt, laying him out. Umaga picks him up, and goes for the Samoan Spike, but Shad fights him off and tags in Kofi. Kofi rallies back against Umaga, until Umaga is forced to tag out. Carlito comes in, and hits the Back Cracker, and things look bad for the faces. Kofi gets double-teamed in the corner while his partners rush to his aid, and distract the ref. He eventually struggles to the tag, and gets JTG involved in the match. He takes control for the faces, and gets Kofi back in to end the match with Boom! Boom! Boom!

6. Intercontinental Championship:
Randy Orton (C) vs. CM Punk

CM Punk is the last man eliminated from the Rumble, and earns the respect of RKO, so he is given a title shot at his new IC Belt at 'Mania XXV. Crowd is split, but CM Punk and RKO go back and forth the entire match. CM Punk shoves off an RKO attempt and hits the GTS on Orton, but Orton kicks out at 2 and a half. RKO fights back, and levels Punk with the RKO, but is down for the count as well. At 8, CM Punk crawls and drapes an arm over Orton for the victory.

7. JBL & Big Show vs. John Cena & HHH

John Cena and HHH dominate the entire match, until Vickie and Stephanie distract the ref while Chavo, Bam Neely, and Regal run into the ring and take out Trips and Cena for JBL and Big Show. From that point, it's pure heat for JBL and Big Show as they just man-handle the faces. Big Show stands up Cena for a big Clothesline From Hell, and JBL sets up HHH for a massive chokeslam from Big Show. Match ends with Big Show powerslamming a limp Cena onto a defenseless HHH and simply putting his foot over them for the count.

8. WWE Championship (TLC Match):
Jeff Hardy (C) vs. Chris Jericho vs. Edge

Jeff wins the belt from HHH at the Rumble to end his brief run as a heel. Jericho wins the Chamber match at No Way Out and challenges Hardy for the belt. When it's announced as a TLC Match, Edge goes to Vickie and begs for forgiveness and wants in, because TLC is 'his' match, and Wrestlemania is 'his' show. He beats 'Taker in a #1 Contender's match on SD! to earn his spot in the match.

The match stays in the ring with no weapons for a few minutes until Jericho nails Hardy off the top rope as he goes for a Swanton onto Edge. Jericho and Edge go at it while Hardy is laid out outside the ring. Hardy gets back up and sets up the ladder outside the ring as Edge hits an Edge-O-Matic on Jericho. Hardy ascends the ladder and hits a Swanton on to both of them, and the ref starts the 10-count. Edge is up first and goes outside for the ladder, but is quickly met by Jericho diving through the ropes. Hardy runs along the barrier, and crashes into both competitors, and the ladder. Hardy gets up and tosses a table into the ring, as well as a chair. As he gets in the ring, Edge brings in a ladder, and hits an Edgecution on Hardy through the table. Jericho rushes into the ring, and him and Edge hit a Con-chair-to on Hardy, and then Jericho turns and lays out Edge with his chair. As he climbs the ladder, Edge tips it over, and it leads to a Jeff Hardy spot-fest, complete with Whisper In The Wind, the mule kick, a Twist Of Fate, and finally, a Swanton onto Edge who is laid out on the ladder. As Hardy recovers, Jericho slowly gets back in the ring and sets up a ladder. He gets to the top, and has his fingers on the belt when Edge bounces off the ropes, and dropkicks the ladder out from under him. Hardy nails another Twist Of Fate on Edge, climbs the ladder, and wins.

9. World Heavyweight Championship (Hell In A Cell):
Batista (C) vs. Kane (Rumble Winner)

Batista wins a hard fought match at the Rumble to win the belt, and Kane enters the Rumble at 28, and cleans house. CM Punk comes in at 30, but is no match for an over-powering Kane.

The match starts with power moves from both guys. Batista hits a quick spear on the outside, but Kane gets right back up. Kane throws Batista through the door, and Batista climbs the cage to escape Kane's rush of offense. Kane quickly follows, and the battle up top is tense as both men narrowly avoid falling off the cage. Batista almost falls, but recovers to land a rattling Spinebuster onto Kane, and weaken the cell's ceiling. Batista stalks Kane as he struggles to his feet, only to get a Batista bomb THROUGH the top. Batista makes his way down the cage wall, and when he's just about level with the ring, Kane sits up with a menacing look on his face. Batista is stunned. He runs into the cage and lands punch after punch on Kane, but Kane just takes it. Kane grabs him and chokeslams him hard in the middle of the ring, but Batista kicks out right before 3. Batista fights back and hits a spear, but Kane bounces up. Batista hits another one. And another. And Kane still gets up. Kane climbs the rope as Batista charges for another one, and hits Batista with the throat thrust off the top rope. He drags Batista into the middle of the ring, explodes his pyro, and pins Batista with the flame still burning off the ringposts.

10. The Icon Shawn Michaels vs. The Legend The Undertaker

I don't even want to predict what would happen in this match...It would be classic, and everyone would be glued to their TV sets for 40+ minutes to see if the streak will end to the tune of Sweet Chin Music, or if The Showstopper will be stopped. I'm a huge HBK fan, but no one should end this streak.

The show should end with HBK and 'Taker shaking hands in the middle of the ring, as tons of pyros go off in celebration of 25 years of Wrestlemania, and all the superstars walking out to the ring.

He drags Batista into the middle of the ring, explodes his pyro, and pins Batista with the flame still burning off the ringposts..

ok just letting you no a hell in the cell would never happen at wrestlemania. and with the world title match being the hell in cell is way further away. i like the idea tho.

anyways i now see a jeff vs matt match at wrestlmania for the ecw belt.

why i hear you say! well this past weak on smackdown edge accused hhh of taking out jeff, correct? matt accused edge of taking him out correct? how would matt know it was edge that took him out. why wouldn't it be koslov or hhh. i no recent history but still. it could even of been big show. but yet matt says it's edge.

you can say the same about edge but it would look better as matt being the colpret.

I'm fairly positive I'm just wishing when I even put Kane in the title match, but I miss the masked Kane, and I want to see bigger and better for the milestone Wrestlemania...

The whole post was a mix of what I thought was possible, and what I'd like to see...

I had planned on adding Orton v. Punk, but realized I hadn't named an IC champ, so I added that, and got called a moron by everyone I know, and then within days the IC tournament started and I'm starting to feel like a genius

Ok, hell in a cell has happened at WrestleMania. The Undertaker vs Big Boss Man. I don't think a world title match should be in a gimmick match like that. It should just be a pure wrestling match. Fatal four ways or triple threats are ok but since it's WrestleMania, the only gimmick match should be the Money In The Bank. It's WrestleMania, not GimmickMania. That's for One Night Stand.

As reported before, looks like Shawn has pitched for The Undertaker. If it is true I am very excited at the prospect that a great WrestleMania moment will unfold. Taker will go out ontop of course and it won't be the best 'wrestling' match but it will be the best match up on the card based on name value alone. If for some reason it's not Shawn, I would love it to be Jericho, don't know how it would happen yet.

Anyway, between RR and NWO everyone should have a better idea.

ha ha dont we all miss the masked kane. cm punk vs randy is fairly obvious IMO. i mean if some one costed me the world title i would nearly kill them. but no cm punk has one match with him and apparently it's all good. i don't think it will be a IC match but i see

Randy orton vs Cm punk at wrestlemania 25. it would be ok if cm punk improves. it could be set up at no way out in the elimnation chamber or even at the rumble if punk looses his match at Armaggedon.

yeah you were right richard but i meant like for now on . no more big gimmick matches will happen at wrestlemania apart from MITB and mayeb a tlc

That was the only gimmick match I had listed (besides MITB), and I wanted to avoid it, but I figured that if it was an aged Kane against a wrestler like Batista, it would need a little help to be an amazing match, because no matter how it's booked, people would eventually get bored, or even worse, boo...

Ok so this is my second post and I'm going to throw some random matches up here along with the obvious ones just to make things interesting.

Undertaker vs. HBK
I really don't need to get into this one it's been beaten to death. It's going to happen.

WWE Championship Match Edge vs. Jeff Hardy
I'm betting that Hardy will win the royal rumble and face Edge, who will still be champion by WM 25.

World Heavyweight Championship John Cena vs. Kane
These guys have fought before but I'm predicting a much bigger feud between these two. It's also time for Kane to be thrust back into the main event, and this would be a great way to do it. Win or lose, it would be a great match.

No DQ Vince Mcmahon vs The Ultimate Warrior
He's made his return and he has his sights set high. He's a scumbag and all about the money, but he used to be able to put on a show and I'm sure he would do it for the right amount. One last match in the WWE against the man who fired him, that could be fun.

Triple H vs. Randy Orton vs. Batista
The final evolution match to put the nail in the coffin. Nothing more to say on that one.

Money in the Bank
I'm putting my money on Kennedy winning again and actually getting to use the contract.

Cruiserweight Title Battle Royale
Let's bring the cruiserweight title back. It would be defended on ECW and Smackdown and anyone who isn't in another match would be involved (that is a lightweight obviously) so figure about 10 guys or so. Evan Bourne would win and defend it.

ECW Championship Matt Hardy vs. Kozlov
A definite possibility with Kozlov getting drafted to ECW or something like that. Could do a whole storyline with Jeffy Hardy eliminating him from the royal rumble (final 2) and taking it out on Matt.

US and IC Championship Winner Takes All R Truth vs. MVP vs. Benjamin vs. Regal
Just to make it interesting, 2 champions, 2 challengers winner gets both championships. If MVP doesn’t win, he gets fired. MVP would obviously win and this would end his losing streak.

Bra and Panties Lumberjill Match Women's Championship vs. Divas Championship
Champion vs. Champion match. Trish Stratus as guest referee. Neither title gets exchanged. Divas thrown out of the ring, getting their clothes ripped off by other divas. That's hot.

Tables Elimination Match for WWE or World Tag Team Championships
I love TLC matches but with the MITB ladder match I think there should be a tables match for either tag team championship elimination style. 3 to 4 teams and some tables sounds like fun.

Big Show vs. Khali vs. Mark Henry vs. Mike Knox
Monster Match! Again, just a filler match for fun.
Dark Match Featuring FCW Wrestlers
Maybe the FCW championship could be defended or just a match for guys that might be brought up to the main roster. Good opportunity for new comers to wrestle in front of a big crowd.

Ok so this is a pretty wacked out WM 25 with 12 matches but it would include EVERY superstar, which I think really brings the entire product together. Some of these matches would be quite lengthy, so I would presume about a 4 hour show at minimum which is totally worth the 50 dollar price. More championships need to be defended it was ridiculous that so few were defended at WM 24. This is a wrestling event after all. If you're going to have titles, defend them! There really isn't a boring match here to be honest. Even the divas match would be exciting. Lots of action, lots of OMG moments, would be quite an evening.

Here are my predictions, as of now:

Fatal Four-Way Elimination Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
John Cena vs. Batista vs. Randy Orton vs. Chris Jericho

Originally I thought it would be Batista vs. Randy Orton. But now that they had their match at Armageddon, that obviously isn't going to happen. The othree three posibilities would be Cena vs. Orton, Cena vs. Batista II, and Cena/Batista/Orton in a 3-way. The first of those two options has already happened and the last option would be too similar to last year's WM main event. All I know for sure is that Cena is headlining 'Mania this year, most likely as the denending Champion. This 4-way seems to make the most sense, as it gets RAW's four biggest stars in one match, and we have only had one other 4-Way WM main event before, and that would be nine years previous to this one. Anyway, this is what I see as of now. If not, I honestly don't know where Jericho will fit on this card.

WWE Championship Match
Edge vs. Triple H

I, like many others, originally thought it would end up beind Edge vs. Hardy, but that obviously won't be happening now. I see Edge regaining the Belt very soon, and then defending it against "The Game." Should be a good match, just a shame that we have already seen it this past July. Triple H will likely win, adding yet another short Title reign to Edge's career.

The One We've All Been Waiting For...
Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels

Should be a classic match. I hope and think they will go with this idea, but if they don't for some reason, then 'Taker will be facing Umaga. But I think they will be wise enough to opt for this choice instead. Should be an awesome match, and serve as a great WrestleMania moment. Perhaps even Michaels' last match...I doubt it, but its possible.

Grudge Match
Jeff Hardy vs. Matt Hardy

I fully expect Matt Hardy to lose the ECW Championship to Koslov by the Royal Rumble. After that, somehow, I expect Matt to confess that it was he who attacked his brother on the day of the Survivor Series, out of pure jealousy really. Jeff has always beent eh bigger star of the two, this was even mentioned by Edge last week on SmackDown!. This may end up being for the ECW Title, but I doubt it. May also end up into some sort of gimmick match, but probably not. Jeff will win.

ECW Championship Match
Vladamir Koslov vs. Finlay

Seems like really the only option. A part of me wants to put Koslov vs. Mr. Kennedy, but then again I just doubt it. I don't think they wanna move Kennedy over to ECW. So that leaves Finlay. Maybe this could even turn into a 3-way involving Mark Henry as well? I don't know if this would happen out of pure WrestleMania build-up, or if Finlay would win the Pre-'Mania Battle Royal to earn this shot. Either way, this seems like the best possible option for ECW. Unless Umaga returns with ECW, challening Koslov...

"Money In The Bank" Ladder Match
Rey Mysterio vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Evan Bourne vs. R-Truth vs. MVP vs. Chavo Guerrero vs. Jack Swagger vs. The Brian Kendrick

Seems like the best group to serve this match. I almost out Morrison and/or The Miz here, but I thought they would be better served another match (below). Anyway, should be a good match, with probably MVP winning in what might be his first victory in months.

United States Championship Match
Shelton Benjamin vs. Mr. Kennedy

Makes sense to me. Both of these guys have already been in more than one "MitB" Ladder Matches, esepcially Benjamin, who has been in almost all of them. So I doubt they will stick them in there again, though I could see Kennedy being in it, but I find this option more likely. Should be a good match, nothing great, but Kennedy should win his second U.S. Title here.

Intercontinental Championship Match
William Regal vs. CM Punk

I honestly think they are gonna be able to stretch this feud out. I think they should, as it would get the IC Title back on a 'Mania card. If this does happen, I see Punk winning. But then again they may try and swerve us with Regal retaining, but I doubt it. Punk wins here in what may be the opening match for the night.

Champion vs. Champion
Beth Phoenix vs. Michelle McCool

I honestly don't know what else to have for the Diva's Match. I don't know of any other Diva going to Playboy next year, because that's usually what they do for the match. So this would seem like the bestg choice, and I see both ladies keeping their Belts until here and beyond. Maybe a Lumberjill Match.

World Tag Team Championship Match
Cody Rhodes & Ted DiBiase (w/Manu) vs. Cryme Tyme vs. Miz n Morrison

Honestly I don't know where Rhodes/Dibiase would fit on this card other than this. This also gets Miz n Morrison on the card. Possibly add a fourth random team here. A short, quick, yet exciting match with probably Rhodes/DiBiase winning.

Battle For Brand Supremecy
Kane (RAW) vs. Mark Henry (ECW) vs. Umaga (SmackDown!)

Seems logical. All big, monstrous men. All representing a different Brand. Why not? Should be a decent match at least, probably with Umaga winning to re-establish his dominance since returning.
____________________________________________________________________

That's about it, I guess. I couldn't find anywhere for JBL or Big Show to get on this card, but both will obviously be apart of this event. I also realize that I have 11 matches above, which is also unlikely due to time restraints. So if any of the above matches were to be taken off, it would probably be the World Tag Team Title Match.

This is an unlikely card that would be very interesting if it were to actually happen which i doubt. But hey this is the WWE and anything is possible.
WrestleMania 25

Undertaker vs. HBK- obviously going to happen.

WWE champion Jeff Hardy vs. ECW champion Matt Hardy- Brother vs. Brother, title vs. title, only at wrestlemania. Matt Hardy would be jealous of Jeff being the more loved brother so he truns heel and it is revealed that he attacked jeff in the hotel. Basic buildup for a solid match. Could be Extreme Rules because these are the former members of team extreme and because the ecw title is involved and becuase it would allow for some crazy spots.

World Champion John Cena vs. Batista- cena looking for redemption, batista looking for gold. the highly anticipated re match between 2 huge stars.

Randy Orton w/VinceMcMahon vs. Steve Austin-ive proposed this before.legend vs. legend killer. Austins last match in his home state of texas. Vince joins Randy Orton's Legacy faction leading into wrestlemania becuase he is a 2nd generation superstar and because he wants to destroy austin.

Triple H vs. Edge-good match between two established stars. They could have a long rivalry heading into wrestlemania which will finally culminate.

Winner is GM of RAW- shane against steph. The storyline is that since Steph is a woman she refuses to fight her brother shane, so she chooses a representative which is Kane. Shane vs. Kane street fight. if shane wins, he is raw GM, if he loses than steph is raw GM.

Money In the Bank Ladder Match-mysterio vs. morrison vs. bourne vs. jericho vs. kendrick vs. shelton vs. mr kennedy vs. r truth

Intercontinental Champion Kofi Kingston vs. CM Punk- Punk turns heel and feuds with his former tag team partner over the IC title. He says that Kofi is a disgrace and that only he can bring respect back to the IC title becuase he is a pure champion.

Thoughts on this potential WrestleMania lineup???

I really hope they don't do the whole "battle for brand supremacy" thing again, it was completely pointless. Oh look I'm better than you. Who fucking cares? I was actually wondering where Stone Cold would fit into all of this. If he has a match, I'm hoping that it's NOT against Vince. As nice as that would be for all the little kids who missed the attitude era, I'm sure he could be much better utilized, maybe even having a match against John Cena or Randy Orton. It would have to be one of the two, I mean I couldn't see it being anyone else. Still hoping the Ultimate Warrior will come through!!! (even though he's a dirtbag)

I LOVE the Hardy vs Hardy (title vs title) match idea! Put them in a TLC match, and that makes a great WM main event. I say TLC even with the Money in the Bank match also at WM because these two would tear the house down, and they both deserve the ME at WM IMO. They have been with the company for over 10 years, and are hugely over! Or do an extreme rules match, and Jeff and Matt could do a crazy spot off the WM titantron (Usually WM titantrons are pretty high up). This type of match should ME WM, and Taker and Michaels should go before. If Hogan vs Rock went before HHH vs Jericho, then Taker vs Michales can go before Hardy vs Hardy Extreme rule title vs title match. Edge vs HHH imo should be at RR or NWO, since we saw it at GAB, should not be a sub main event at WM.
