This was probably the best one I ever saw and I seen the Attitude era.
Opening - 2 man Evolution reunion almost caused Randy took go 'legend killer' again. #Old School this brought out Cena showing respect to Flair. The 2 most time world champs stood tall.

we also had the legendary feud of Lesnar/Show rekindled.

The New Age Outlaws helping Punk

Pipers pit (great mic work by all including Reigns)

Jake the snake returns with Damien.

Too Cool reunites along with Rikishi.

WcW moment with Booker/DDP
great matches and hell of legends.

No pointless Authority overshining every one.Even though they should have still appeared for Old School Raw seeing how they are legends.

Wrestlemania worthy opening match and main event.

This was basically a TV-14-LV show represented as TV-PG-V though.

What I disliked -
JR didn't show up.(not his fought though).
We didn't get an APA reunion.But what are your thought I give it a A+ = 4.0 rating ....

Awesome show beginning to end.

Loved the Romans Reigns spear and crowd reaction.

Loved the WORM.

Loved Daniel Bryan with the Wyatts.

Loved Bad News Barrett.

Loved pretty much everything except Khali.

I didn't enjoy it as much. With every advertisement that read "Old School" I expected more than one match featuring veterans. Now don't get me wrong; the veterans for the most part shouldn't fight anymore. But there were several active superstars that could have added Old School flair: John Cena could've worn a jersey, Orton could've came out to "Burnin My Light", a few Rumble entrants could have been announced in "bingo-ball" fashion, etc. Several things could have been done besides using Old School sigs and a 90's barricade/ring. Seeing the superstars of old was great, but it wasn't very central. This was a perfect episode to rest up the roster and just go with fun antics and feel good moments, like the Christmas episode.

It felt like a regular episode of Raw, to be honest. Just with a few appearances by the usual group of backstage vets, albeit Jake "The Snake". I gave it a solid C.

Likewise, I enjoyed the show also. Gave it a B+ overall. Only one set of Legends actually competed in a match. Would have been nice to have maybe another Legend or Legends tag team actually compete.
The stories were also followed up well enough. They restricted Cena and Orton to just an Opening Segment and put more emphasis on the interesting stories going on such as the Wyatt Family and the Shield break-up, so that was a good thing,lMO.
I guess Alberto Del Rio will be the target for Batista's return maybe, or it was just a cheap heat promo for the guy who gets no reaction whatsoever from what I see. Even Barrett managed to get some heat, although I don't see where his character is going to go in the future, and am still wondering when he will get into the ring.

Great Main Event between Punk and Reigns to end it off. Started slowly but ended strong. However, as a keen follower of Reigns and as a fan, I hope he adjusts himself to Singles matches more especially long ones as they are in the Main Events. Maybe do a couple more moves if possible. At times he seemed a bit winded and it was actually visible to me as a viewer. Again, just constructive criticism from my observation. The match did receive the "This is AWESOME" chants after all.

Jake the Snake returning was a shocker. I wasn't expecting his return at all. An Awesome way to end the show. I am sure many would agree. Btw, was Ambrose smiling or what at the end with the snake on his face and all??

I like that it wasn't over done and that they had some fun stuff and were able to further story lines. Or I guess at least didn't forget the story lines all together anyway.

There were things I would have to liked to have seen and I thought Dusty was supposed to be there. I did miss bits and pieces though so if he was there then that was something I missed.

I loved the ending with Jake. I didn't know it was coming and I'm not ashamed to say I marked out when he came out.

Overall I'd give it a B I guess.

No, Dusty wasn't there. A bit surprising as well for me. Was waiting for his appearance.
Once you saw the Bad News Barrett segment, then I think all of those Legends who appeared were there except NAO and Mean Gene.

I gave it a B. It was cool seeing Flair/ Orton kick off Raw. I wish we would have seen another legends match or two. I also was really hoping for an APA reunion, maybe Lawler getting sick prevented that? I was disappointed Mick Foley wasn't there. I was surprised Dusty, Hacksaw, and Bret Hart weren't there. But seeing Jake "The Snake" made up for any disappointment I had. Piper's Pit was great as always.

I gave it a C, I enjoyed the opening segment and Piper's Pit as well as Jake's surprise appearance at the end, I would have liked a DDT and so would the crowd but I guess Jake's body isn't up to delivering one which is understandable. The Outlaws and Mean Gene were also fun.

Personally I would have liked to see Punk and Piper actually do a promo together and I know it wasn't possible given the set up but It's a shame Jake didn't get to talk. I also thought the lack of HBK, Austin, Bret and either Trish or Lita to do a segment with AJ was disappointing. I think overall the legends could have been used a bit better and there were a lot of dull matches that we've seen a lot over the last 6 weeks stuck in the middle of the show.

it was a good show. the overall wrestling on raw has improved over the last couple months and tonight was no exception.most legends were used perfectly with what they are know for. most of the legends are beat up and cant go anymore. piper has had hips replaced and did the pit. same with irs, mdm and so forth the only one that didnt go which couldve was ron simmons. i did mark out when jake showed up.i work at a strip joint as a dj and use his theme as intro music and i about wet myself when i heard it. i wasnt expecting him to show after his tweet of not being invited. and for the record...that was not damien, damien was "killed" when earthquake squashed him. that was revelations. He used that snake when he came back as the evangelist roberts. sorry but it bugs me when "fans" dont know there knowledge as much as they claim. close in the A- to A range on the show.

I liked most of Raw, and really am surprised by that. The opening was cool unitl Cena came in and did what Cena does... Superman to the rescue. People knock Mick Foley for cheap pops, but where are people on Cena and his cheap ways to get over with legends.

Anyway the parts I did like were the Brock segment, Pipers Pit, Bad News Barrett, and The Main Event. I really liked BNB but I hope barrett wrestles again, he is underrated. Glad to see total divas lose and not having a bunch of 6 man tags was nice. Dean Ambrose and Piper was awesome and The Main Event was great. Glad to see that there wasn't a DQ finish, and actually have a cool finish. I really thought Roman stepped up and really shined. Jake the Snake was cool as well, wish him and Dean would have had a confrontation.

Overall Not Bad, I gave it a B. I would have liked to see J.R and DX reunite only for Punk to interrupt them, and I am not one for a DX Reunion, but that would have been cool. It also felt like they are running low on Legends, or perhaps they are saving them for a later date?

I rate it a B+. Great show all around. Retro RAW kick-off with a legend in Ric Flair and ended with a returning legend in Jake the Snake Roberts. Cool to see Too Cool & Rikishi return to tag up on WWE TV, even though there not "legends"...but still great to see guys back from the attitude era. And wasn't the American Dream Dusty Rhodes supposed to be on throwback RAW tonight? And sad to hear about Jerry the King Lawler. Let's pray for that man. But yeah good show good show. The best old school since the very first one in 2010.

Obviously the Bryan/Wyatt's angle is dominating discussion coming out of Raw, but there were some interesting developments elsewhere in the show.

The Cena/Orton build feels pretty low key to me but both guys had good matches last night, Cena once again made Sandow look great and Orton actually lost to Kofi in a very long match. Orton attacking Cena's dad was a watered down rehash of the angler they did in 2007 but who knows how many young fans even saw that and it adds a bit of personal edge to the feud.

Orton's increasing paranoia and anger with The Authority is interesting, he complained about Lesnar and Batista last night and wanted a showdown with Trips and Steph, then JBL said he was unworthy of being WWE Champion after he attacked Cena sr. Curious to see what happens next with him.

The Outlaws turning on Punk was something that crossed my mind at Oldschool Raw but that wasn't really the right time or show for it. The way it happened last night worked fine and got the required response while adding to the seemingly inevitable Punk and Triple H feud at Mania.

On The Shield side of things you can see Reigns and Rollins getting increasingly unsure of Ambrose instability, yet it was Reigns who directed heel traffic at the end and instructed them to go back and powerbomb Punk.

So Batista is back.....and he looked kinda weird, obviously he's smaller than he used to be and he was dressed like an escapee from the Jersey Shore, but it was his face that threw me off, it looks like he's had a lift done. At any rate the promo that kicked off the show between the Evolution trio was ok, I like how Orton is playing things and I'm looking forward to Trips and Steph flipping the switch on their disingenuous act, Trips telling people to take the base out of their voice just makes me want to see him punched in the face.

According to JBL Batista's return was greeted with an ovation of ground shattering proportions that eclipsed anything he had heard before, I don't know if it's his hearing or his memory that is fucked but never mind, I don't think this was the foreshadowing of Orton vs Batista for Mania that many are worried about, I think we'll come out of the Rumble with a reformed Evolution......I'll probably regret this positive thinking later.

Big E and The Rhodes vs The Shield was easily the match of the night for me, a really lively tag that showcased everyone well. Kinda surprised that Rollins pinned Big E but damn did Big E make Rollins finisher look money. Maybe they are setting up Big E vs Rollins to put the IC title into the Shield mix, leaving Reigns as the only guy without a title and thus taking the next step in facilitating the split.

Fandango vs Xavier Woods was over so quick that I missed it, not sure why it was even on the show.

Daniel Bryan came out to another huge ovation and chant, and went on to cut a really good promo explaining how what happened with Bray in the cage was his plan all along and announced that they will face each other in a singles match at the Royal Rumble. Most suspect this is being made up on the fly given how quickly the switches were done, but the promo worked. Bray's counter promo was equally good, that almost melodic cadence he has making his creepy words all that more effective.

Steph sending Kane out to apologize was another layer in this passive aggressive game The Authority are playing, and I thought Kane and Punk did a good job with the segment. The Punk/Gunn match that followed was solid and I always enjoy Road Dogg verbalizing. Kane making Punk the #1 entrant in the Rumble after he was finished with the NAO is something many people were predicting would be part of the build on his route to feuding with Triple H at Mania.

I think it was shortly after this that Rey vs Bertie for the 500th time took place, I honestly just zoned out as it didn't grab my interest, I'm sure the work was good but it's a combination that has never really entertained me. After Bertie gets his win Batista makes his second appearance of the evening and demolishes Bertie with a botched spinebuster and a powerbomb, he didn't do his traditional sit-down version as I imagine he was worried that his ludicrous skinny jeans might rip.

The Brock and Big Show segment just went on and on, Show's initial promo mocking Heyman was fine, but the rest of it was just boring in my view. I get the idea is to make people see Show as a threat to Brock but the way the segment was booked just made Brock look like an incompetent and petulant meat-head, as opposed to making Show look strong.

I can't remember what went on between then and The Usos vs Harper and Rowan that featured Daniel Bryan doing a run in to attack Bray, the match was solid and the finish got the required reaction from the crowd.

Orton vs Kofi was pretty uneventful as everyone was just waiting for Cena to show up. When he did he was, as WWE guys always are, in full wrestling attire, which always makes me laugh. The brawl that followed was lackluster and the only thing of interest was guessing who was driving the SUV Orton escaped in.degree.

I thought it was strange that there were no promos from Bray or Cena tonight to follow up on the big angle at the Rumble, and the Punk and Kane angle wasn't even mentioned, strange.

The opening promo segment went really well and played off the fans anger at the ending to the Rumble. Triple H and Steph were in full on smug, disingenuous mode and Bryan cut a passionate and strong promo which led to Triple H calling in The Shield and Sheamus and Cena making the save setting up the main event.

The Real Americans vs Sin Cara & Rey was a decent tag match, little tease of disharmony between Swagger and Zeb before Ceasro took out Sin Cara for the win.

The Randy and Batista showdown was as limp as expected, this cannot be the main event of WrestleMania unless WWE want a car wreck headlining. Batista tried to growl over the fans chanting Bryan but he looked irritated, the beauty of this is that it actually opens up the option for Batista to go heel and go back to the entertaining character he has before he left in 2010.

Brock and Heyman arriving turned things around a little and they gave Maddox the option of Batista vs Lesnar for the #1 contender spot or Brock vs Orton for the title that night to present to The Authority, of course we got neither and Brock just ended up beating up The Rhodes in frustration later in the evening.

The 6 man tag main event was good as expected and it was good to see Sheamus back in the mix. The way things concluded with The Wyatt's causing a DQ win for the face looks to be setting things for The Shield vs The Wyatt's a the PPV.

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the 6-man tag match. But I was really curious to see if there was any sort of change in the dynamic within The Shield after Ambrose tried eliminating Reigns THE NIGHT BEFORE. Instead they show up like last night didn't even happen. I don't even recall it getting mentioned by the commentary team, though I often zone out when listening to them. I know I need to be a bit more patient for Reigns push as a face, but dammit I'm trying. :p

Cole did mention that Reigns did eliminate Rollins & Ambrose. However, the way it came about could have easily been played out as if it was almost, kinda, sorta an accident as there were a buncha guys all piled up trying to get rid of each other. As a result, Rollins & Ambrose could have been collateral damage, so it didn't come of as malicious intent on Reigns' part. They're slowly building tension between The Shield members and they're obviously waiting for the right moment to pull the trigger. I'd say that moment will take place during WrestleMania XXX. For now, at least based on what happened at the end of the six man tag team main event, it looks like we might get that feud between The Wyatt Family & The Shield that fans have been wanting to see for a while

If people can't see what WWE has been doing all along leading to Wrestlmania, then there's no helping them. On to Raw 1/28/2014:

The opening segment was some of the best I've seen between the Authority and anyone else. Triple HHH was almost good, Bryan was better than I've seen him, although he did corpse a few times. Also, I loved the setup to the 6 man for the main event.

I just don't like the Real Americans. Swagger is a mediocre worker, and Caesaro is only a little above him. Also, I thought Sin Cara would be gone from the WWE? Anyway, this was a go to the bathroom match for me.

Barrett's promo was pretty funny, cheap heat talking shit about the town the event is in.

Fandango and R-Truth? Oh, my extreme high from the opening segment is starting to wane.

Great. Dandy Boreton and Brotista promo against each other. Their quality has been decreasing alot. Heyman is typical. Brock looks like a monster.

Dolph gets a win in a match that seven people in the world care about.

The Usos look great against Rybaxle.

Bertie and Kofi? Why? Also, who cares? Where's this Kofi makeover?

NAO and The Brotherhood. These guys are great, and this was a very satisfying match. I have NO idea why Brock interfered, except maybe to prove that he'll ruin the show if he doesn't get his way.

Diva's match, someone will have to fill me in. I literally fast forwarded the entire thing.

Jake "The Snake" goes into the HoF this year as the second name. Wonderful, and I'm super marking out over it. I like the guy, he's brilliant, and I wish him all the best.

Six man main event. Really solid match. Cena is the ultimate professional veteran. He knew just how long to stay in before getting the crowd to explode over Bryan. Sheamus looks good, Cena looks great like always, and Bryan looked just like an Indy wrestler that's in over his head. But the crowd loves him. Plenty of good spot, Reigns looks like a monster, Rollins is the best working in the Shield, and Ambrose is completely out classed by those two.

The Wyatts cause the DQ, putting the faces Cena, Sheamus, and Bryan into the EC with Dandy Boreton, Brotista, and Lesnar. In addition, we might have a faction v. faction match at EC with the Wyatts and the Shield, which looks like a solid match. It's going to be a good EC.

A really good RAW to rebound from a potentially major disaster. Heel Authority (which is the best Authority), an Orton/Batista/Lesnar confrontation, and a potential Wyatt/Shield feud, all good. I'd rather see the OAP not be the tag champs, but hopefully this is short term, and they'll drop the belts to either the Usos or the Real Americans at EC.

Good recovery, WWE.

A pretty dull Raw tonight bar the main event. There were numerous CM Punk chants throughout the night but nothing too sustained which WWE will be happy about, even if they were in a town not known for rowdy fans.

I like the feud between The Shield and The Wyatt's, both groups cut good promos tonight and had solid six man tag outings, it's the best angle currently running in WWE.

The Cage match for the tag titles never quite got into a rhythm, I just hope Cody is ok as he seemed to land awkwardly off that moonsault spot as Road Dogg didn't seem to catch him properly.

The Batista and Bertie segment was practically dead air bar a few Si! chants when Del Rio attacked Batista, WWE need to get that heel turn done asap!

AJ was amusing on commentary as Naomi did her half Go Go dancer, half acrobat routine against Aksana.

The Bryan vs Orton main event was by far the highlight of the show, these two work extremely well together and I love how they are changing things up each time they face off. Huge effort put in by both men and the finishing sequence was well executed with Kane acting as a misdirect.

I'm guessing the post-match stuff with Kane Chokeslamming Bryan is the full start of Bryan moving into what would have been Punk's Mania angle.

I kinda thought the main event was one of the low points of the night.

HHH leading a "Yes!" chant sarcastically was a laugh out loud moment for me.

The Shield and the Wyatts was the high point, although the Shield vs. Hodge Podge from the Lockeroom was boring. I also don't get why both stables are fighting face groups from the lockeroom. I like Rowan and Luke, I don't care for Bray, and I freaking love watching Roman Reigns getting pumped up. I didn't catch what busted his eye open...

Bertie vs. Batista is probably going to be an EC matchup, but I don't see where this goes after EC, because Batista gets his title shot at WM30.

I wish I could comment on the Divas, but they've never been so bad. Ever. I fast forward.

Brotherhood v. NAO was not nearly as good as it should have been, and hopefully, like the guy above he said, I hope Cody isn't hurt from a 55 year old Road Dogg not catching the spot.

I guess Bryan moving into Punk's angle works...I'm really hoping for a HHH interference at EC to stop Bryan from winning. The fans will go freaking insane.

RAW was okay, nothing too spectacular. Seems it was a "Lets just get through this one" since they didn't have Punk or Cena.

That Road Dogg botch was inexcusable. Rhodes even gave him enough time to move into place to catch him. The ending was kind of a give away. I doubt they would have Bryan lose and let that one shot of him being in the title picture fade away.

I gave it a C. Fast forwarded through most of it.

Thumbs Up

Opening Segment - I thought the opening to the show was well done overall. It didn't drag on unnecessarily and was to the point. Orton seemed to have more fire than usual, I'm thinking it had a lot to do with him going out there to make himself heard over the CM Punk chants that everybody knew was coming. Frankly, it worked. A CM Punk chant did start up a few times over the course of the segment, but very quickly lost steam both times. Stephanie & Trips addressing Orton's paranoia worked and is setting Orton up for an eventual fall. Trips leading a "Yes!" chant was a fun little moment, though I'm sure will confirmed as being sarcastic in the weeks to come. Making the main event Bryan vs. Orton was a good move on WWE's part as it'll help quell some of the CM Punk sentiments.

1. Big E Langston, Rey Mysterio & Kofi Kingston vs. The Shield - A good 12 minute match that goes along the lines of a lot of Shield six man tag matches. During the course of the match, there was a nice little shout out to the IWC, in a manner of speaking, as both Cole & JBL seemed to voice the sentiment that Ambrose should defend his title more often. The match told a good little story in regards to The Shield's situation of still being a solid unit while showing that the egos of Ambrose & Reigns are chipping away at the foundation of the group. The end comes after Reigns hits Big E with the Superman Punch and is setting up for the spear. Ambrose tags himself in, this is after everything's broken down, and hits Big E with the Headlock Driver for the win. Reigns & Ambrose jaw back & forth for a bit with Rollins managing to get in between to play peacemaker again. After the match, The Wyatt Family appears on the screen with Bray cutting another good promo. ***

2. Christian vs. Jack Swagger - This was a rematch from SmackDown! this past Friday and I thought it was another enjoyable match. It only went about 6 minutes but, to me, it felt like it was a lot more than that because they packed in a lot of action into those minutes. Generally speaking, I thought it had more energy than their last match, maybe it was the notion of Swagger feeling as though he had something to prove. Christian looked smooth last night and appeared healthy & well rested. There was another attempt at a CM Punk chant during the match but, again, it lost steam very quickly. The end comes via a nice ending sequence with Christian leaping off the second rope and catching Swagger in a Sunset Flip for the win while Zeb Coulter sells his frustration outside while Cesaro stands looking somber with his arms crossed, shaking his head from side to side. **3/4

3. The New Age Outlaws vs. Cody Rhodes & Goldust for the WWE Tag Team Champions - An entertaining match between these two teams. I liked the notion of the rules being changed in this match as the stipulation of tag team cage matches being won via escape didn't make much sense to me. After all, if one guy escapes, that leaves his partner in the ring alone to be beaten down. I also like that it was more of a traditional tag team match with the partners having to be tagged in, that way all four guys aren't running around all over the place. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind that sort of thing in cage matches, but it's a nice little change that makes the action easier to follow. When this match was announced last week, I knew it was being done, in large part, so that Cody could do the moonsault off the top of the cage. Rhodes did it and it looked great, all in all, until Road Dogg failed to properly catch & brace him. Cody sold the effects of the move really well, though he probably didn't have to sell too much. Smacking into that mat from that height with little or no break in momentum's gonna smart. As Road Dogg is laid out, Cody struggles over towards him looking for the cover. Unbeknownst to him, Billy Gunn is the legal man and he suddenly hits the Fameasser to pick up the win about the 17 minute mark. Good match and win for the tag champs. ***1/4

8. Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan - This was a great match in my eyes and both wrestlers really worked hard to deliver a fun, entertaining main event. The booking, all in all, pretty much kept Bryan & Orton on an even level with each of them doing some "damage" to one another and controlling a good portion of the action. Bryan focused his attention on Orton's left leg throughout the match, which Orton sold really well. Eventually, Orton is able to "injure" Bryan's right arm and spends a time controlling the match afterward. The second half of the match was more of a back & forth match and there were a couple of nice near falls here & there. Both Orton & Bryan sold the effects of the moves really well. Late in the match, after Orton & Bryan have been going at it for maybe 25 minutes or so, Kane comes out to ringside and Bryan attacks him, dropkicking him through the ropes. Orton tries to attack but Bryan pulls the tope rope downward and Orton flies over. Bryan then does the "Flying Goat" dive through the ropes and takes both of them out. He tosses Orton into the ring with Kane trying to attack again, only for Bryan to trip him and causing him to crash into the stairs. Bryan crawls back into the ring, keeping his eye on Kane to make sure he's down. Orton spins him around and goes for the RKO, only to be shoved off, Orton misses a clothesline and Bryan comes charging out of the corner with the running knee for the clean win about the 28 minute mark. Orton & Kane gang up on Bryan afterward and manage to get the upper hand, allowing Kane to chokeslam Bryan before setting off his pyro. Not as strong as their TV match late last year, but one that gave a strong finish for Bryan that had to make fans happy. ***3/4

Thumbs In The Middle

5. Sheamus vs. Curtis Axel - This match was okay, nothing particularly special, but it was better than the glorified squash that I was expecting. Both guys got in a good deal of offense which, again, was a little surprising as I expected Sheamus to have little trouble with Axel. Still, all in all, you had to know how the match was gonna end. The fans were into Sheamus and it seems that his absence has made him grow fonder in their eyes. My big complaint about Sheamus is his inconsistent selling of an "injured" body part, namely his surgically repaired shoulder in this instance. Sheamus winds up scoring the win via the Brogue Kick about the 7.5 minute mark. **1/4

Promo Segment - Believe it or not, I thought the promo segment with Del Rio & Batista was pretty decent. It wasn't mind blowing by any stretch, but I liked Del Rio's intensity and Batista didn't get a chance to say much, which is a good thing. I don't have any real interest in this feud, we all know how it's going to end anyhow, but Del Rio's comments towards Batista about being there for the past four years while Batista was "sitting on(his)couch" waiting for his movie agent to call and stating that just because Batista's famous doesn't mean he's champion resonated with me. It got a decent little pop from the live crowd, it's a sentiment that quite a few people share when it comes to guys who haven't been in WWE in years that come back and are immediately booked in a top spot. Del Rio sucker punched Batista out of nowhere and beats him down for a bit before Batista rallies and sends him packing.

6. Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth & Xavier Woods. vs. The Wyatt Family - I can't say I was overly thrilled by this match. It would've been much more entertaining had The Family's opponents been Ziggler along with The Usos as they're a relevant team. Still, it was kind of fun seeing The Wyatt Family's unorthodox offense. Bray Wyatt looks especially vicious in there and it still comes as a bit of a surprise because we're not used to seeing it. Ziggler looked good for the time he was in there, but it just wasn't enough. The Wyatt Family score the win after Bray hits Sister Abigail's Kiss about the 6 minute mark. The Shield cut a promo on the big screen afterward, essentially saying that Wyatt's mystical mumbo jumbo doesn't frighten them. Nice work all in all and helped make the segment feel like it had some purpose. **

7. Naomi vs. Aksana - A decent little Diva's match. Nothing particularly extraordinary but, again, it's a far cry better from what Diva matches used to be. There's at least some degree of purpose to them now, such as using this match to highlight Naomi's athleticism while using AJ on commentary to further her feud with Naomi. Naomi is wickedly athletic and it makes her stand out among the Divas. She's not a gal that's afraid of taking a bump. She scores the win about the 5 minute mark after hitting a split legged moonsault. **

Thumbs Down

Dance Off - I hate these segments, I really do. We don't get them a fraction as much as we used to, but that doesn't keep them from sucking any less when we do. This was also a piss poor way to introduce Emma to the broader WWE audience, in my opinion. I'm glad she's finally on the main roster, but it's a really underwhelming introduction. That's especially true when you take into about that hardly anyone in the arena had a clue who she is.

4. Zack Ryder vs. Titus O'Neil - I thought this was the only completely pointless match on the card. It did nothing more than take up 3 minutes of air time and, to top it off, it just didn't make any sense. Why would Miz come out to the commentator's table and interrupt things for a moment instead of Darren Young? Young was left laying this past Friday by someone he considered a "brother", yet Miz is out there bitching that he's not booked to appear on Raw. Titus looked dominant but, then again, it's Zack Ryder so there's not much to be impressed by. *

Final Thoughts

I enjoyed most of last night's show. It didn't have the same level of frantic energy as the past several episodes have, but I knew that things were going to have to simmer down some eventually. If I had to judge by the reaction of the crowd, I'd say they felt along the same lines as I did because, otherwise, I think the entire show would have been bombarded by endless chants for CM Punk. There was a small handful of chants that broke out over the course of the show, but none of them were overwhelmingly loud nor did they have any staying power. With the exception of the Titus O'Neil vs. Zack Ryder match and the dance off segment, I thought the show came off well. The highlight of the night was the main event with Daniel Bryan finally getting a clean, untainted victory over Randy Orton. The hype for the Elimination Chamber ppv was solid as well. Before the end of the week, I expect that Batista vs. Del Rio will be announced for the show. Raw wasn't as hot as it has been but, as I said, things have to cool down and take on a semblance of normalcy at some point before things pick back up as we get closer to the ppv.

Grade: B

After watching last nights RAW, I wanted to take back those three hours. Don't they realize that its Mania season. Give me some direction. I dont want some half assed put together card for the 30th anniversary of Mania. Really? A dance off= bathroom break or flip the channel to sportscenter. Why wasn't there more interaction between the Chamber participants? I may just have to sit out the next few weeks until the 24th the day after the Chamber event. If they are planning on bringing Hogan back, start planting the seeds. If the rumored news about him hosting the event are true, adverstise an announcement of the Host like they did with Rock. Isn't Taker coming back soon for Mania, Yes he is but c'mon E start doing something to further the strory of is he or isnt he coming back with the announcers.

DO SOMETHING WWE!!!

I know what they can do.

Hurry up and start showing Vignette's for Sting.
