I think there's a chance Christian could win this match. He seems like the most logical choice because out of everyone else in this match, he seems to be the only one who would be ready for the main event scene right now. I'm a fan of Ziggler's, but I don't think he'll win this match. I also think the only reason Evan Bourne is in this match is he can provide us with some "holy shit!" moments.

Well with less then two weeks until the WM, there was no mention of a tenth participant in the MitB ladder match, so I went back and watched the rundown on Superstars again and at the 6:35 mark of the video below, Cole clearly states there will be 10 men. Now do you think it was a flub on Cole, did the WWE change their mind, or are they waiting until the very last minute to add someone to the match. Honestly, in my opinion, the fact that Kingston isn't in this match already is nuts.

While the card is looking very strong and this match looks good it is nothing like the WM 23 one where you kept guessing who was gonna win as the choice wasn't obviously only about 3/4 of the entrents.
Lets analyze the competitors in this match shall we?

Dolph Ziggler: The guy is a good worker. He got into the match as Vince likes to include as many as possible in a match that kept us guessing who the winner was going to be. He lost his push due to not being very impressive but he came on by leaps and bounds since debuting on Smckdown. He won't win but he may impress those who lost interest in pushing him.
Kane: He has held the same spot on the roster for about 6 years at this point and it doesn't seem to be changing anytime soon. He could win but it looks doubtful for him as he is only ever gonna be the guy that fills in spots in elimination chambers or scrambles.
Drew McIntyre: One of the 4 I see could actually win this thing. He is loved backstage by management. He may not be on the giving side of spots but he may be on the recieving sides of the moves. He is already holding gold so out of my 4 he is the least likely to win but never say never.
Evan Bourne: The least likely to win this in my opinion and is only going to be involved as the guy who are going to be in there for solely spots which is one of the things that make MITB good. He is not going to win but i suppose i should stick to what i said earlier Never say never.
Jack Swagger: A guy who lost his push for reasons even i saw. He didn't get crowd reactions. In wrestlemania everyone gets reactions from the crowd so that will work in his favour but i never really saw anything desirible in him. He qualified in an incredibly obvious match in under a minute which made both men look bad in my opinion.
Matt Hardy: Another of the 4 i would like to see win the MITB. I feel Matt deserves this as he has gotten punished for something he didn't even do(Jeff). Matt can always do a decent match works well as both a heel and a face but when Undertaker and CM Punk had matches it should have been Matt Hardy. The guy can give good spots and i see no reason why he shouldn't win it.
Shelton Benjamin: Another of the 4 i see possibly winning. He is the greatest pure athlete in wrestling today and should have been in the main event 3 years ago in my opinion. He has always been one to give great spots and has had some great title reigns(6 months as US champion) and like christian, has won just about every other title than a main event one. I really hope this guy wins
MVP: Why the hell is this guy in the MITB? He clearly doesn't care where his career is going and if so doesn't deserve to go over someone like Zack Ryder who actually wants to make a name for himself in the WWE in less than a minute! I liked MVP when he got good but now he just sucks. Sure he will pull off a few spots but that is all i want to see of this guy as I have no respect for him now.
Christian: The guy i see most likely to win the MITB this year. He has worked his ass off in ECW becoming the longest reigning ECW champion having good title defences on PPV & TV with the likes of William Regal, Ezekiel Jackson, Yoshi Tatsu & Tommy Dreamer. He is arguably the best in-ring preformer WWE has at the moment. I see no reason why this won't win the MITB.

Remember: This is just my opinion.

Well I think it is obvious that Christian will win especially since they have took Drew out of the match. Christian is the best candidate for world champion at this point and the best wrestler out of the participants in the match. Unless the WWE decide to swerve us I can safely say Christian will have the briefcase by the end of the match.

The WZ homepage is reporting that McIntyre has been removed from the MITB match. This is weird because I figured that he had finally made good on his promise to be on the Wrestlemania card but as of right now, that seems to have gone out the window.

That said, it looks like the match is going back to an 8 man match which is fine, IMO. With 9 men already, I thought that WWE would even it out and put a 10th man in which would've made the match more of a clusterfuck than it already was.

As for the match itself, I think this match will give the fans an idea of how WWE management feels about Christian in regards to whether or not he is ready to step into the main event. On Raw, I feel he can make a big impact if he wins MITB and cement himself as a legitimate maineventer. That said, Christian is my pick to win the match.

The WZ home page says McIntyre is out but I can't find it anywhere on WWE's website so I guess we'll see.

If McIntyre is not involved then Christian has to be the heavy favorite. Shelton is the only other guy who may have a chance just because he has been in it so many times. I don't see anybody else that they would give the victory to.

If McIntyre is in then he has a great chance to win and if Kofi is added as a 10th guy then I could also see him getting the victory. As it stands now however, Christian is the favorite to win it.

I think the Drak Horse to win MITB is Dolph Ziggler i think that they might be wanting to give him a big push and i think the perfect way to do it is to win the MITB match.

Not sure what WWE sources the main page is citing, because there has been no announcement of any change to the MitB ladder match. I guess we are going to have to wait and see what happens this Friday.

I really do see Christian taking the MITB at wrestlemania. Nobody else in the match has as much star power and charisma as Christian does. Sure Christian made a mistake by going to TNA but he served his time down in ECW and now its time to bring Christian to the main event, and his first step should be by winning MITB.

This is usually the match I really look forward to at Wrestlemania. It see a new Star come alive. I think this years is the most Unpredictable. I still don't have a soild prediction.

Drew McIntyre is he I-C champion, Hand-picked by Vince and will reach bigger heights one day. But I don't see him bieng Mr.Money in the bank.

Christian Let's Say doesn't have the best realtionship with Vince after going to TNA. A lot of people are saying, Nah nah he won't win it he went to TNA. but I still think he has a chance.

Evan Bourne although is one of my Favorite guys. Do ou see Vince lettign him have a world title, try to imagine Bourne hold up the WWE or World Heavyweight title.... I don't see it happening.

Kane It's only possible if it will lead into a Kane-Undertaker Feud.

MVP It's possible but he really has done nothing relevant in months... speaking of nothing relevant of months...

Jack Swagger is a guy I like. But has doen nothing in a while. It's a logn shot to see him winning.

Dolph Ziggler It's possible...

Shelton Benjamin There really is no stopping the best pure athlete in the WWE in this match. They have him do a big spot and he usually disappears after it. He is the Highlight reel of the MiTB but thy never push him anymore.

Matt Hardy has really been featured on Smackdown with nothing to do. but he might have a chance if he wins it. It possible but ot the #1 pick to win.

Dollar signs will be blinking!!! Those are words that run through my mind when I see the MITB being advertised each year. This year, with no dissappointment, we have some of the great mid card wrestlers in this year's match at WM 26. In respect to all the wrestlers in the match and no analysis of each one of them by me, I am guessing that Drew Mcintyre will win the briefcase this year. Do I agree with him as a winner, no, but truth be told, he has become Vince's knight and shining armor since his arrival in WWE.

For months now, we have seen Drew given opportunity after opportunity along with Vince's stamp of approval and as a result that, he was crowned the WWE Intercontinental Champ while still being undefeated. Most recently, Drew ended his undefeated streak when he lost to Kane on SmackDown, but Vince vanquished that loss and gave Drew another chance. The following week, Drew lost again, this time to Matt Hardy, keep in mind, both of these matches were MITB qualifying matches.

As the saying goes, third time is the charm and it was, when Drew was given a third opportunity to qualify in the MITB and he did so by defeating a jobber. Folks this says it all, all these facts point to Drew winning the MITB match with his IC Title around him and undefeated streak still in tact, but now with the MITB Briefcase as a bonus added to the his list of accomplishments.

Yours truly,
Sincere Voice of Wrestling.

I'm going to go through all the competitors so far.......

1.Kane- I have alway's been a fan of Kane, But It's a well known fact that Kane does not want to be pushed. Vince has tried on several occasions but kane refuses saying it would be to hectic of a schedule. So I dont see him winning.

2. Jack swagger- I like the guy, I even thought he might of been the next kurt angle. But Latley It seems like WWE has given up on his push. So I dont see him winning.

3. Evan bourne- He does not seem like a guy who could be a believable World champion. He's very talented, But I think a mid-card title might suit him more. Just my opinion.

4. Dolph ziggler- I actually think this could possibly happen, He's a very good heel who I think would be a great champion if given the chance. So I think there is a slight chance he will win.

5. Shelton benjamin- Let's just be honest...Shelton Benjamin IS mr.Money in the bank. He alway's steals the show but is never rewarded for it. I would like to see him win, But I know WWE wont let him.

6. MVP- I was a big fan of MVP in 2007 when he was a heel. But I dont like him as a face, It just doesn't work for me. I guess there might be a tiny...TINY chance he might win, But I doubt it.

7. Christian- A very good chance he will win, He is just insanely over with the fans and Vince cant ignore that, even if christian doesnt win this match he will have other oppurtunities for the gold.

8. Matt hardy- Listen to me, Matt hardy is NOT fat. If you honestly think Hardy is fat then you must not of ever seen a real fat person before. "Big Daddy V" Now THAT is Fat.
I think Matt has a great chance at winning.

-He has great in-ring talent
- He has decent mic skills(Better when he was heel)
- He is very Over with the fans who stick by him no matter what.
- He keep's telling everybody that 2010 will be his "year"

I am rooting for Matt in this match, I will be SOOOOOOOO happy if he wins. He deserves it. alot of you "Smart Marks" should give him a chance.

rastlingrko's post got me thinking. With a Money In The Bank PPV coming up this year, what if Drew McIntyre is just out of reach of the briefcase a few times during the match, but loses in the end.
They could then set up a story, where Vince dose not like who won and goes about screwing them out of the case. Then Teddy Long or what ever p.o.s. celeb we got for a guest host could make a MITB rematch.
It would not need all the same participants, they could have more qualifying matches the weeks building up to the PPV, Drew McIntyre and who ever gets screwed will automatically be included into the match of course.
The way they got Vince "all wet" over McIntyre, taking away loses, I could see him taking away a MITB loss. That is just my opinion, it should be interesting to see how all this Money In The Bank stuff is going to work out in the end.

Why was Drew pulled out in the last moment when they needed 3 weeks to build him even to be in the match? It just didnt had any sense(then again Ted di Biase jr was pulled before bragging rights and replaced with Mark Henry)

I see Christian(it would be awesome to see that but all that TNA connection could hurt him in this one, especialy this year) or Mr.Ziggles win this year but I personely would love Swagger or Shelton Benjamin to win

For right now, I'm going to assume that drew is going to win this one, for the pure reason that he is the only one who has had any sort of story element going into the match. Of course, that might change if say next Monday we see Kofi having to deal with some sort of seemingly insurmountable unfair challenge just to qualify and he somehow manages to squeak out a victory, but right now, drew's story is all we have.

Someone else in this thread did point out the possibility of drew losing but vince stepping in the following week on smackdown and ordering a match for the case between drew and whoever won money in the bank. I could certainly see that happening as well, and if that is the eventual route that creative plans to go with this, then Christian will win but then lose the case later to drew.

But either way (again, this might change once we see what happens next RAW), I think that drew will end up with the case, either by winning or through vince's intervention.

I see Drew or Christian winning this one... but this could potentially be the best MITB ever!! Expect Evan Bourne to be the breakout star with some amazing off the ladder moves...Benjamin is always great in these matches as is Kane.... Swagger and Ziggler will put on a good show but don't stand a chance. Hardy and MVP are just in the match to give them something to do at Mania. Seriously though how come Kofi does not have any role at Mania? he is the most exciting wrestler in the "E" right now

Christian WILL DEFINATELY WIN. IMO he s the only one that is even close to deserving the Case, you may criticise me for this, and please feel free too. But it is way to early for Drew to get a WHC/WWE title shot, give him a solid 6-8 month IC Title Reign, Then maybe have him win MiTB next year, but definately not this year.

Bourne will be exciting and will be the breakout star of the match.
Shelton will add excitment as always.
MVP and Hardy are there to fill up spots
Swagger, Kane and Ziggler could potentially have some great exciting spots, but Christian Will win

I'm inclined to go with Aussie Invasion on this one, Christian would be the best winner to this IF Edge wins against Jericho

Apologies if this has been posted previously (I'm new and only read the last page) but it could lead to Christian challenging Edge and if he does him over then we may see a heel turn for Edge

And don't know if you'll agree but IMO Edge is a lot better as a heel (remember back to last years No Way Out where he took out Kofi to take his spot) as there is a definate lack of decent heels at the moment

Don't think Drew is dark enough to take a decent run as a major headlining heel, it worked a bit for Sheamus due to his size it was more realistic for him to take everybody out giving him that darker edge

Heartachetonight, that's interesting, I didn't know that about Kane, thats a shame as it appears a lot of the time that Vince etc don't know what to do with him

Hey, I have a question. Where the fook is Kofi? Why make it a nine man match. Make it ten, and put in Kofi. He shined in last year's match. IMO, he put on an amazing performance. He's a very solid midcarder, so put him in the match just so he's on the card. It won't hurt anyone if he makes it in the match, as Christianity is the most logical choice in this one. Why? Because he's very over, and who else can you see winning? I know we all want to see Shelton win like every year, but let's be real, he won't. Christian will.

I think its down to two people; Christian and Matt Hardy. Christian is pretty self explanatory as they gave him a dummy run with the ECW title and he is over with the fans. Hardy? Well, if you look at the other competitors, he's the only one who stands out as realistically winning which says a lot about the quality of the talent in this years match. This is nowhere near as packed as WM 23's competitors and with guys like Ziggler appearing from nowhere to get in this match says it all.

Interstingly, Kofi is not on the card ATM so i see him entering on RAW tonight and i think he has a better chance of winning it then any of the others bar Christian.

News is coming out again that MVP and others were quoted saying that it WILL be a ten man match. Considering we still don't know what the pre show match is going to be, I predict that we will see a 20/25 man battle royal live on WWE.com right before Mania with the winner gaining entry into the MitB ladder match that evening. I look for Kofi to fill that last spot, but at this point, too many signs are pointing to Christian winning it. I will go on a limb here and predict the first same night cash in at WM this year.

Or I can be just completely wrong as they added Kofi on Raw. Don't know why it took so long, but now the thought of Christian, Hardy, Kingston, Bourne, and Benjamin in the same ladder match has me almost giddy.

It's 10 now which is really too many imo but with the card already having so many matches, this is the best creative could do. That said, I'm still looking very forward to this match and I've got Christian winning it all the way. He proved on ECW that he can be the face of a brand and he's so over with the fans it's insane! He's great and the mic and fun to watch in the ring. He's paid his dues and will do what it takes to be the top guy. I hope Vince pulls the trigger and Captain Charisma will be the M.I.T.B winner.

Shelton and MVP would be my close seconds and the dark horse is Swagger.

Hey Yo!
Sorry if this thread has been done it's my first so go easy on Tha Wolfpac.
Now with all the 10 MiTb participants finally confirmed who looks like the stand out winer personally i think it is a toss up between Christian and Kofi Kingston i'l be happy with either guy winning because they both deserve it imo. So who do you think is the stand out winner for this years MiTB 2010?

McIntyre is the only possible winner in my eyes. Christian is purely there to raise the hopes of most of the people in attendance and watching at home. It's McIntyre who had to overcome the odds to get into the match, it's McIntyre who's got the backing of Vince McMahon and it's McIntyre who's apparently feuding with Edge on the post-Mania European tour.

I wouldn't be surprised if he cashed in later that evening.

Christian. I can't see anyone else winning, it's all setup for Christian Vs Edge later this year and he'll be the first one to fail as this is just a throwaway match. The MITB PPV winner will be getting the significant push instead.
