There is no way Cena is going to turn heel. The women and the little girls in the crowd will never boo him plus he draws the most merdandise sales right now besides DX. I think it would be something new and fresh to see him as a heel. If I recall last WM against Triple H he was booed during the match and Triple H was the heel. I hate to see what happens when he faces Shawn Michaels with Michaels as a face too. I'm just hoping HBK wins the title though.

You mean Triple H got cheered at last years WM against Cena who was booed, right?

To be honest, I really don't know what will happen at this years WM in terms of crowd reaction. But we still have two weeks left until the big dance and any action between these two will tell the story on how it will play in in Detroit

No, I doubt it very seriously. WWE figures that they've kept him as a face this long, they might well as keep him as a face. Because turning heel would be a bit too predictable, and people will be expecting it. If anything they'll be both faces sort of like Hogan Vs. Warrior.

I agree with tmad82. I think its going to happen. Right now, the emphasis is on HBK turning on his partners. It would be too obvious if he turned heel. Cena wont turn untill WM when Cena retains by using a chair or another weapon to win the match.

Last Monday he was booed every time HBK tagged him into the match so i would not be surprised to see a heel turn especially after HBK said that he should be worried about Cena stabbing him in the back. I do not understand why people uses the "merchandise" excuse for being the reason big stars do not turn heel. Was Austin heel? Yes. Did Austin's merchandise sell through the roof? Yes. Was Rock heel? Yes. Did fans buy alot of his merchandise? Yes. So WWE do turn big stars heel even though their merchandise selled like crazy when they were face.

I'd like to see cena turn heel, any of Cena's fans' would be pissed off and I personaly liked (i wasn't a fan) the heel cena better, plus it would be too obvious if HBK turned on Cena, he's turned too many times... I know one of the to will turn heel before 'Mania and they're feud will go on. Hopefuly WWE makes the smart move and makes Cena heel and give the belt to HBK.

im a cena fan and i liked cena on smackdown better with the eminem type gimmick. i think cena will turn heel did u see him on raw with the chair he was about to hit hbk but i think hbk told him not yet

I think they did that to build up to the point where Cena will turn heel on HBK ... I see them having a title defence next week and HBK inadvertantly (sp?) hitting cena with Sweet Chin Music then later in the match Cena hitting the FU on Michaels and leaving him to lose the titles.

I don't think he's bad. I just think the WWE isn't helping Cena by keeping him at the top. They need to tell him to do new moves and things. Watch a match of him from 2002. He knows more moves, he just doesn't do them.

Exactly the WWE knows he has it in him but they want him to keep doing what he's doing because they beleive its workin now.

the problems is, they tried this with the michaels/hogan feud a few years ago. remember, hbk had that little thing on larry king live where he was making fun of the hulkster and then after the match was over, bam, hbk is face again. i know it is not a very good example, but look at the nwo. they were heel and they sold alot of merchandise, so did the rock and triple h when he was heel.

I'm sorry folks - but I just can't see either man turning heel in this feud - especially not John Cena. Think abut it, after Wrestlemania, what top face is there for him to feud with on RAW - answer... NONE. It's not gonna happen.

Next week HBK takes on JBL and Cena takes on Beniot (which is dumb). They will just make Beniot look bad again.

The JBL, HBK match should be good, would be better if they made it no dq or something. I would like to see benoit/cena end in a no contest in order not to make benoit look bad, possibly interferance from MVP or HBK, if there was any justice tho WWE would have benoit beat Cena clean. I dont care what WWE do with Cena because i dont like him, if they make him heel it will make a few people on here like him more, but to be honest a heel turn does not make you a good wrestler, or good at gimmicks so as long he doesnt get his way into the upper card whenever he does eventually turn heel ill be happy.

From an entertainment and personal stand point I would love to see Cena go heel. I (generally) hate Cena since he has become what we know now. I hate the Marine gimmick where he salutes all the time. I just don't like him. When he was on Smackdown I remember him being one of my favorite wrestlers because he was funny and did those raps and that was something I enjoyed watching, but Cena now is no fun for me. He has had some points where he made me think he may make all the haters eat their words (very recently even) but he always does something that annoys me in the end. I would love to see the SD! Cena come back but it won't happen. because face wrestlers sell more merchandise and Cena has got to be by far their biggest mover nowadays. I can't blame WWE for doing what makes money, but I think it would be much more entertaining for Cena to turn heel.

Oh, and I happen to like the way WWE has built up the WM match between HBK and Cena, it is still somewhat suspenseful and although neither one is a heel it doesn't matter as much because of how they have approached the program. Although I wish the tag titles were around a real tag team rather than a super team, so that teams like WGTT and Cryme Tyme could give it some meaning back. Rated RKO and HBK/Cena should not be tag champs.

I have a feeling the WWE is going to have Cena and HBK keep the tag titles until after Wrestlemania. MNM will probably take on London and Kendrick for the Smackdown Tag Titles at WM.

I think they may unite the tag titles at some point, there seems to be a lack of talent on both rosters so it would make sense, ad would allow tems like the hardys n mnm to get more involved in it after mania. The storyline isnt actualy that bad in the hbk/cena match its just i hate Cena so it doesnt fill me up with excitement for their match because i kno cena will be average at best because he cant wrestle. On the other hand Batista/Undertaker is been handled completely wrong, the fans are turning on batista which although im not to bothered about because the guys a talentless crap lyk cena it makes the promos hes cutting stupid, batista also sucks in the ring so once again no anticipation...

I think if Cena or HBK haven't already turned on each other, it won't happen. Really, I wanted to see Cena F-U HBK so we could get a Heel-Babyface main-event. I still think that Cena will turn heel eventually. If not this year, then next year. Some people really want to see it like me for instance. I think us as fans, made the worst mistake in cheering for a heel in 2004 so let's just pray it never happens again because the last 2 years were probably the worst WWE has ever had because of it.

^^I see that your new here, Welcome. As has been said before that being Heel doesn't do jack to the money that is being raked in. Cena is also one of the Higher Merchendisers because the WWE have taken stuff that supports Heels off if it becomes to popular, case in point Edge and Mr. Kennedy...........Kennedy T-shirts have been pulled to fudge the numbers that John Cena or DX or whatever is the highest grossing Merchandiser. As to the point of Cena not turning Heel for that reason, The most money made out of Merchandising in any of the Wrestling promotions of the 90's was the NWO, A Heel group. This does nothing to determine whether Johnny Boy is going to be Face or Heel. Personnally I think that a good period of time as a Heel would do him some good from the IWC and others that think he is (saying bluntly) a piece of Crap. It will allow him to drop off from the Title chase and so on and so forth. Personnaly I liked Cena better when he is chasing a title, theres more sympathy for the character in that sense. Case in Point Cena-Edge feud, without the title it showed something that I think is lost in his time as Champ without having a true challenger for the Belt. I don't know what it is but, it is one of those things that can make a Heel special(not in a Eugene way). So if John Cena turns before WM then it will be something interesting if he keeps it up after WM. What I would really like to see is John continue into WM as he is and come out of it as a Heel that will do anything to get his title back in a Heel persona.

this is tru...but to follow up on the heel/face situation...HBK(face) vs. JBL(heel) - Cena(face) vs. Benoit(face)....see where im going with this, i think since Cena got a few boos last week, i think Vince is using it to see how the fans react to him and another face, which would be the same at WM if it stays this way.

im a cena fan not a fanatic. I dont see why people love to bash him. Right now he is the reason people are in the seats. He is the most marketable superstar in the wwe right now. To be honest the only other superstar that could be marketable right now is randy orton. Lets face it women and children love cena and thats what Vince cares about the younger audience
