i probably wouldn't of hated Cena as much if he were chasing the WWE championship for the past two years instead of holding it that long its bullshit and beating wrestlers better than him such as Chris Jericho, Kurt Angle, Christian,Edge, Triple H, also didn't help me like him anymore since those are some of my favorite wreslters

Cena needs to turn heel or get beat down to show that he isn't invincible. We don't think he is but the results always make it seem like he is. And he had great dubut matches on Smackdown back in the day. He took Angle and Jericho to some great matches if I remember correctly.

I respect Cena and other wrestlers like Batista( who happens to be my favourite) but they get misused by the WWE and the problem is Vince McMahon. If Cena had a good brand like SD!, T-Lo would do good for him.

McMahon misuses the Big Man wrestlers? Ha! They get more air time and WAY more use than their talent deserves. The cruiserweights and the high flyers are the ones that get neutered and misused. Where else would Cena go to not be "misused"? TNA? He couldn't keep up with anyone there. ONS2 proved that- he couldn't even sell half of RVD's moves right. Oh, and on a side note- did you know the Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 game won't even let you put Gregory Helms in a cruiserweight title match in manager mode because he's too big? Talk about misusing a whole division.

Cena is not a bad wrestler, but obviously not the best. Hated for his stale stories and "unbeatable" & dominate in the title picture. Who's there left to beat? Umaga? Yawn. Have he been chasing the title, it would be far more entertaining & actually be OVER with alot more of the fans.

Lol Cena is missing a lot of moves granted but isn't he in the sports entertainment business? He isn't the greatest wrestler but when he comes out he entertains and another things for sure. you get some wrestlers that get no reaction. Well Cena gets a mixed reaction and actually gives a lot of emotion to people good and bad

Cena back when he was coming up on Smackdown was pretty cool, he got a positive reaction from the fans. I thought it was pretty funny cuz he was on that whole thuganomics kool-aid. People JBL got stale, even though I liked JBL as champion, he was running it's course. People wanted to see a new champion and it looked like cena cold be the guy. He did a good job at the start of his run with the whole "spinner belt" and "the champ is here" gimmicks.

I started to turn on cena when he went Raw and after the program with Y2J and Christian he fueded with Kurt Angle for the most part untill New Years Revolution. When he jumped to Raw I hoped to see him fued with some Raw stars. You knew eventually Triple H would eventually get his shot at Cena. The program with Edge was great cuz it came as a shock to me. Edge drew great heat and even greater ratings. The problem with that was you knew with wrestlemania around the corner HHH was gonna bump out edge. Edge's run came at the wrong time. Why have them fued, send Edge to fight and align with Foley only to bring him back to fued with Cena? It really made no sense to me.

Cena for the most part has been champ through alot, he is suppose to be the face yet he gets booed out of the building, and just plays it by ear (example one night stand and that raw where he said you can like me or you can hate and really pushed the whole chain gang thing with his limited fan base.

At least he didn't whine little kid with skinned knee on an ECW program like Batista did.

Yesterday night I was watching TV and all the sudden a subway commercial came on, you know the one where they have Jarrod and that one football player with the field goal sized hole in his front teeth, well if you saw it, you know they argue in the commercial, less fat, more meat!.. anyways, all the sudden, I hear, hi, I'm Jarrod, here with wrestling champion John Cena, I pop up and can't believe my eyes or ears. Then John Cena is standing there with the title over his shoulder and the two start arguing Less fat, more meat, until Cena gets in Jarrod's face and quits him down. I was just realizing something. First, Cena has a rap CD, then he's always on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! or SNL, and just awhile ago he was on Mad TV where he chopped that tiny chinese Uh oh hot dog guy in the chest. He has a movie that probably atleast got into the top ten list for the time it was out. he was on the cover of FLEX magazine, he was on the cover of WWE magazine, he is the number one seller of merchandise for the WWE, he has complete control over the young audience of wrestling, he wrestle's K-fed who in return brings in a milliong more viewer's to Raw at the time of the match and gets Cena seen by more faces, and he has many many years still to come wrestling, not to mention that now Jay Leno uses it as one of his main monolouge jokes every episode that K-fed is fighting the WWE champion. You do know what's next for him right?, the cover of Sports Illus. magazine, and only one other wrestler has ever done that, and that is Hulk Hogan. Cena's basically expanded his possibilities for spreading his name to the world as far as a pro wrestler can, next up is Sports Illustrated. You know how anyone on the street, you can walk up to them and ask, do you know who Hulk Hogan is?, and they'll most definately 99% of the time answer yes. Well, I bet if you now go out and ask people on the street, most will say they know John Cena, not 99% of them, but a hell of alot more than other wrestler's which only wrestling fans would know the likes of. I have got to admit, the WWE is doing the right thing with Cena here, I would choose another guy like Kennedy to get over this big but since they already are using Cena, I say stick with it, just let him use more moves in his matches before your plan back fires. Also, this brings me to another point of this topic, John Cena is not losing the title any time soon as long as that commercial is airing, they said wrestling champion, he had the belt over his shoulders. I am not a fan of Cena at all, I think he is a horrible wrestler but he is a good flagship for the company as when the younger audience grows up they will be the older audience, the kind of audience Hulk Hogan had when he was the legend.

One last thing, atleast he's not as bad as Batista, whom has absolutely zero charisma and his scoop slams make me f'ing puke!

That is 100% true. Hogan although not QUITE as young of an audience as Cena. he had a younger audience, which is todays older audience.

I also think that with last weeks match, i'm hopin to see them allow him to use some more moves. and develope as an actual wrestler, he already has the mic skills, and the charisma to do it. now if his wrestling abilities could get better, maybe he could gain MORE of the main audience of wrestling.

I think each and everyone of you are off your rockers. First of all......K-fed is a big draw? I don't think so. That guy only sold 6,000 albums, that's terrible. I think Shaq sold more than that. Secondly, The Marine was never in the top ten. It made 18.5 Million dollars in the Theatre........less than Al Gores movie about global warming. This guy doesn't hold a candle to what Hogan did. They used to perform in front of huge crowds back in the day, The Royal Rumble isn't even sold out and its being held in an arena that holds less than 18 thousand for wrestling. Do you get it yet? Cena, Triple H, and HBK are nothing compared to Hogan, Savage, and the Warrior. It's just a simple fact. The most embarassing thing about the Rumble not being sold out is it is in SA which is HBKs hometown. I know, I have tickets. It's probably gonna suck too. And hopefully Cena will lose to a much more talented superstar tonight........UMAGA!!!!!! I am just astounded at how big of a draw these people appear to think K-fed is. I almost threw up when I read that. That guy is straight up white trash and the only thing he is known for is being the guy that got to bone brittany spears. He has nothing else. Maybe after that awful Monday night raw, and because Triple H is out of action Vince will get on the phone to The Rock and beg him to come back until Triple H recovers. WWE is not in serious trouble... Wrestling has spells of huge popularity were everyone and there brothers,sisters,aunts,uncles,cousins,neighbors,neighbors aunt, neighbors uncle, neighbors brother, neighbors sister all watch wrestling. It is a known fact that wrestling hits kind of a low point for about 5-10 years and rebounds with about a 5 year huge popularity boast. For example from about 1980 till 1985 wrestling was hugely popular we had Mr.T, Ali, etc in Wrestlemanias and so on. Then from about 1985 till about 1995 wrestling lost popularity. Then from about 1996 till 2000 it got real popular again. You had Stone Cold, DX, The Rock, Foley in WWE and then over in WCW you had the NWO, Hogan, Goldberg etc and both companies were banking and seeing all time highs in revnue, and exposure. Now here we are in present day 2007... It has been 7 years since the last time wrestling was hugely popular and I think within the next 2 or 3 years the wrestling machine will only gain momentum and populartiy again and that will be helped by TNA being around also becasuse in all business competion is good. Now as for somone saying WWE is in big trouble... I highly doubt that. WWE is a fourtune 500 company and it is run like that. Vince is a great businessman and they are in no way in trouble. If they were in trouble do you think they would be making movies? If they were in trouble do you think they would have brought back a thrid show? NO... They are not in trouble what so ever... As for John Cena being the next Hogan...NO... There will never be another Hulk Hogan, but Cena has the same tools that Hogan had when it comes to selling merchandise, drawing in a loyal fan base..So I don't like Cena much but he is good for the company becasue the typical WWE fan isnt too concerned about the wrestling and God know for Cena that is awesome.

anyways, I missed last weeks raw, i heard they moved Khali to raw and he beet the shit outta cena, this is somewhat of a good thing, somewhat of a bad thing.

Good in the fact someone beat cena straight up. so that means that he isnt superman anymore.

Bad because they chose Khali to do it.


But really, was anyone surprised? everyone else has been beat by him it seems like. and if he can beet big show and them, then that only leaves one more person, Khali.

(Even though technically big show weighs more than khali, which is what makes me wonder why in the video game khali is ranked as an Ultra Heavyweight in which Big show cant even do some moves to him.)


But, here is a thought, maybe Khali's size will require them to let cena make some new moves, because i dont even know if he can FU someone thats that tall. ya know? not weight that makes it hard, it'll be khali's pure size.

i dont know about anybody else but everytime Cena is on the mic he makes my stomach churn all this "i will never back down and never quit" its just like shut up and learn how to wrestle u overated, overused piece of crap. Least when guys like Jericho, Christian and The Rock talked smack it was funny, cena is even worst when hes trying to be funny. He offers the WRESTLING fan v. little in the ring or out. He catches so much shit beause he has been champion for forever, and even though he loses the belt on occassion, he never leaves the title scene, nor does he stay away from the belt for more than a month or two. So thats basically why, if Umaga or any of those other guys grabbed the belt they would get the same stuff as Cena does, probably worse since they have limited microphone presence, but only if they too held the belt for so freaking long.

When was the last time Cena was not in the title match at a PPV? The only time in 2006 that he wasn't main eventing was Royal Rumble when SD! main evented, and Vengeance which DX main evented, or any time that the title was not even being defended at the event.

People in general get tired of one guy always being on top anyways. Jarret is hated for hogging the title, HHH was hated for it, thats as far back as my knowledge goes though, I am young.

So what if he's been champion for so long, surely that brings prestige to the belt, I'd much rather have someone who's champion for a year or more than the belt changing every 3 months like it used to, finally the WWE Title is not moving from person to person.

I agree that Taker and Khali should swap but it wouldn't do much good because taker would be treated as a jobber because cena is the major star of the wwe today. Speaking of which, cena is being critizied too much. He does what he is supposed to. he has a thugish persona so high flying moves and other creative moves don't fit. Oh and Umaga used to be in 3min Warning so he can speak english. NEWB! Cut Cena a break and enjoy the show. He should rap more on RAW though.
