No blood Terry Funk might have lost a fucking eye for your it's got to be excactly the way i want it cause i can't move on and i have to lib=ve on nostolgia of the ecw i used to watch just be fuckin happy vince is tryin to please your critical ass sure he's tryin to make money but he didn,t try to sell 10,000 tickets for ONS he said fuck it 3,000 tickets and i hope i put on a good enough product that you will come back for more and watch the sci-fi channeland i am pretty sure ecw came out on top against wwe in the last two shows who cares if a few wwe stars defected or were drafted they are trying to give it there all but it seems like all you can do is bitch about a promotoin that was dead and they are trying to revive. do you actually think paul heyman is going to let this be some kind of joke remember he is booking this just like back in the day he won't let this be a fucking joke so bear with them for awhile before you make judgement or not be hardcore and judge them after one show and i remember not every show being that good in the ninteys you hipocritcal fuckstain

I completly agree, but not just towards deadman, but everyone that thinks the ppv was garbage, and ecw won't last past the summer. Don't look at this like the old ECW, but a new promotion by WWE that might actually contain wrestling, and not just "entertainment". Heyman and Mcmahon will do almostanything in there limits to attract wrestling fans back to ECW and wrestling alone to just let this flop. McMahon has to much riding on the ECW now to just watch it flop,and Heyman would never let his company look like complete shit. All you haters should just shut the hell up until atleast the first or second show, then if it sucks you'll have a reason to be douschbags.

I thought the PPV was just OK.... The edge/foley-funk/dreamer match I enjoyed.. as well as Cena/RVD.... Some of the things on the PPV I didn't understand.... the JBL and Eugene spots had no reason for them, neither did the Big Show coming out and taking out the FBI, Super Crazy and Tajiri. I didn't expect a wrestling match out of Balls Mahoney, but yet I was still a little bored with that match.

Don't get me wrong... the PPV wasn't bad.... I like most of the matches... but to me, it was just OK.

Also, did anyone notice when Orton came out, he had his name in the One Night Stand logo... but when Cena, Edge and Foley came out, they had the RAW logo by their names.... hmmmmmmm...

Did you ever stop to think that Big Show may have come out to attack the FBI in order to start setting up the groundwork for a fued between him and the entire FBI? Or at least between him and Big Guiddo(sp)?

In real ECW sabu riped open his hamstring and kept wrestling for half an hour.

In "real" ECW Sabu was about 15 years younger with less scars, injuries and broken bones. Try wrestling at his age and having that amount of pure guts.

and to be fair the event wasnt very hardcore.

That's because the space between the Ring and the Rail wasn't long enough to support the table with both legs out, when Sabu hit the move on Rey the table slipped out from under both of them, smashing on the ground and causing that small part of the table to break + Rey's head getting slammed onto the ground.

I rekon WWeCW didnt know how to end it so they "faked" injurys.

Do you know how much damage can come from getting a DDT from about six feet off of the ground? There was video on WWE of Rey getting looked at by the Medical team, and a bunch of websites are reporting that he had neck problems and couldn't feel a few fingers. An ECW show doesn't end with faked injuries, they end with real ones.


UPDATE ON FUNK - Wrestlezone is reporting right now that Funk apparently did not need any work on his Eye backstage after the show and that WWE medical said he would be fine, he just needed stiches on his forehead.

Well i was finally able to watch it. It was a hands down great show. Seeing Big Show Toss Tony was hilariously amazing. I wasnt expecting that. I did read the results but forgot alot of stuff.

The heat on Cena was incredible. He hesitated for some time before entering near the fans to go after RVD. Good choice. The situation with the shirt was priceless. Man i love those guys! When rob and cena were exchanging blows and the crowd would switch between booing and cheering.... that was remarkable! Never seen anything like it in recent memory.

The ovation at the beginning and the speech by heyman was great. Made me wish i could have been there to potentially personally give Paulie thanks.

Good to see Beulah McGillicutty back. Made me mark out.

I havent seen a balls match in a while. That was refreshing.

The entire show was great. I was a little bummed out by the shortness of the sabu/rey match.... but the spot looked pretty sick initially. Well done there.

I feel old school again!

No I think they did the spot right but the table was the problem not the wreetlers. Is this in English? anyways if you wanna talk about this, its fine, the spot went as planned, I repeat the spot went as planned, the match was supposed to go into a no decision, neither Sabu or Rey were seriously injured in their match, Sabu wrestled on Tuesday as well as Rey for the Smackdown tapings. It was no mans fault, however Sabu earned even more respect from me in being able to land the DDT near perfect and make it look legit at the end of the match. The battle Royal was a joke to begin with, The Sabu move was the only move in it other than Big Show messing up that slam with Big Guido.

Loved it. Only match I didnt fully see was Cena-RVD. Yes, I know, I missed out. My bro and I were watchin it at our friends house. After Lita called Dreamer "The Innavator of Silience" I said, "What does this make Terry Funk? 'The Lord of the Soft Porn'?" This got major laughs.

Overrall, 5 stars.
