In my personal opinion, after the Cell saga, I preferred Vegeta over Goku.

He definately proved to have a better character that's for sure. Alot of the things Vegeta did in the Buu sagas were to mark out for.

Peronally, I prefer Goku; but Vegeta showed to have a much better impression on me as DBZ progressed (especially in the Buu Sagas)

I just recently watched Goku's fight with Chi-Chi at the world tournament. Right now, I am currently on the fight between Piccolo and Goku (the final round of the tournament). The fight is pretty good; Piccolo's laugh gets to be somewhat annoying tho.
