[Official] All Things Becca Thread

I was in my pushchair as a baby, and it was raining so I had a raincover over it. There was this huige dog that lived in my street, and because it couldn't get to me due to the raincover, it bit my mum as we were going home.

What about you?
Footy training one night, we were doing some laps, and two huge dogs ran under me from behind. Flipped onto my back, got winded, and my chest hurt for 6 months after that. Not good.

There's 3 steps that I recommend to all parents...

Step 1) Cartoons and a couple of toys...

Step 2) Maybe some video games or something with enough pieces to keep them occupied, ie some giant legos or a big ass kid puzzle...

I'm guilty of both of these...At the same time though, I don't want the TV baby-sitting my son...

I can definitely vouch for that... I was babysitting my little cousin this one time...musta been about 6... I turned on the ladder match DVD while I made him lunch... I wasn't gone but maybe 3 or 4 minutes, and I come back to the little bastard trying to cross body me off of the coffee table...

...He never expected that dropkick to the chest though... ;)

I'm not worried about what he'll learn or do because of TV, because that's all a load of crap anyway. I just don't want him to be a fat, lazy oaf that think life doesn't exist outside of TV and games...

Caring for Zack (my son), and doign all the parenting stuff is hard. It sucks trying to cram 8 hours of sleep in to a 30 minutes nap time. It sucks cooking a good dinner while trying to stop him from burning the house down. I always need to have an eye and an ear on something across the house, and I need to be extra careful wherever we go...

99% of the time, I love the hyper-activity...Other times, I want to sit down in a dark room, and be alone with my thoughts for 10 seconds...

I'm sure that if I had my son when I was 29, instead of 19, it'd be a much different story. Also if the ex didn't turn into what she did...

meh. quit crying. tis what baby gates are for. they work wonders lol

a condom or birth control would have fixed your problem....

She actually was on the pill up until about a month before she got pregnant...When she turned 18, she was dropped from her parent's insurance because she was no longer a student. I would have used a condom, but we were out, and my first thought wasn't to stop and go to the store...

THATS quite enough of that Brian. Please dont give me an excuse to ban you. another word about NSL's child and your done. shut your fucking mouth
