It's all in how you raise them...

She bought him from Germany, from a long line of champin show dogs. Which, was entirely pointless, because he was never in a show. He was a big, massive dog. She had him for protection, but he knew everyone in the family, and everyone got sniffed and checked when they entered the house, but once he knew you were OK, he was a big teddy bear. He loved little kids, and loved playing around...

Caring for Zack (my son), and doign all the parenting stuff is hard. It sucks trying to cram 8 hours of sleep in to a 30 minutes nap time. I always need to have an eye and an ear on something across the house, and I need to be extra careful wherever It sucks cooking a good dinner while trying to stop him from burning the house down.

There's 3 steps that I recommend to all parents...

Step 1) Cartoons and a couple of toys...

Step 2) Maybe some video games or something with enough pieces to keep them occupied, ie some giant legos or a big ass kid puzzle...

Step 3) Duct tape and a small chair... Of course, it must be facing you while you do whatever it is you're doing because some kids are master escape artists these days...

Luckily, we've never had to go any farther than step 2, but as they grow older, anything's possible, as the attention span continues to slowly disintegrate... Hell, another step or 2 may become necessary as time goes on, but lets not jump to conclusions!

Did you ever update whether or not you're really going to be in NYC for the summer? I wasn't on for about 5 days, so if you did, I obviously missed it...

I was in my pushchair as a baby, and it was raining so I had a raincover over it. There was this huige dog that lived in my street, and because it couldn't get to me due to the raincover, it bit my mum as we were going home.

It depends what happens with Jess to be honest. I'm definitely invited to go by college etc. so in that sense I will be there. But if I can't sort anything out with someone watching Jess for a week, then I won't be.
