Well the Brits on here will obviously have their own regional dialects they will sound like except from Lee, who only has a slight twang, see how well I was paying attention?
Leeds Guy and Leeds girl will sound like, erm, Leeds-ish, which means complete abandonment of the word "the" (goin t' get paper from shop).
Scottish ones will sound, erm, Scottish. Which means deep voices and every second word is an expletive.
The southern ones will either sound like a Cockney or really posh. Either way, I can't understand them. My recent trip to London was like going abroad. In fact I understood Spanish people in Barcelona more clearly than Cockneys.
As for the lot across "the pond" I'm brought up to believe that everyone sounds like cowboys from old westerns and even though I have seen enough American TV to know this isn't true, once I learn a poster is from USA or Canada their voice is imagined as a cowboys. I can't help it.
