We had a few guys like this last year. Basically, the resolution was for the debaters to come to an agreement before the debate began. One of you would tell the other that you could only debate until a specified time frame and you'd both compromise. As long as that type of chatter happens within the debate, the judges will see that and issue Punctuality points based on the allotted time frame agreed upon by the debaters.

Hey guys, so we're starting August 1st, which should be awesome. That said, frankly, I don't want to have to wait six more days, today accounted for. I've also realized it's entirely possible that some members of the League don't exactly know how the format of this goes.
That said, I'd like to suggest a Pre-season, Out of Conference Demonstration. What this means is that, right now, I challenge anyone in the Omega Conference to a battle over these next six days. D-Man or Phoenix, you could come up with a topic for debate, and we could play out how a typical match goes. Personally, I just really want to debate, so I don't give a shit if it affects our standings. But do I have anybody from the Omega Conference that's willing to take me up on my offer?

Yeah we need a subject, something that isn't biased by any of us to a standard that "I choose this, because I know I can kick your living ass to hell and back. Twice" kind of subject.
And I would likewise love to debate you, I got a week to kill right now seeing as I got a vacation currently that counts next week as well. Why not waste a little time during the noon hours when the forum is dead and I can research through that period of time.

Very well I thought you thrived most in the 80's. However I shall stand and take what you got coming Tenta, I may not be the best, but I sure as hell plan on at least trying to put up a debate worthy of you. Even if it ends up being like Evan Bourne going up against Big Show. We sadly know how that went in 2009.

D and Phoenix isn't online that's all Tenta. Getting late here anyway so I probably wouldn't be able to start until tomorrow, that is if I'm the starter.
Also they didn't exactly wrestle no, I believe it was Kofi and Big Show, but Evan made a run-in after a disqualification win I believe, and Evan got his ass speared to hell.

But yeah, I see no problem with it at all. If you can set up a thread and a topic that you all want to debate then by all means, go ahead and set it up and start immediately. I don't think D-Man or Phoenix will be too worried about that. As you say, it gives everyone a heads-up as to how it is going to down. You might not even need a judge really.
