NFL Week 4 LD

There's no excuse for that at all. This is where Davis needs to pull the plug and admit he's a bust.

I agree....I don't know who their backup is and I'm unsure on whether Garcia wants to go back there but Russell is pretty much done this season.

I would be fine with him if he was completing say around 55% because that's what Vick was around but under 40% is unacceptable whether you're are in the pros, college, or high school.

Lol. Block for Russell and build around him....

You've been drinking the Flavor-Aid, haven't you?

Russell could play on any other team, and be just as bad. That team is just not right. There's no 1 area that can be built around right now.

HOLY SHIT...Pierre Thomas is the man. I've been big on him since midway through last year...

There is no reason for the Saints to get stuffed there...This game should already be out of hand. They can't let a team like the Jets stick in the game...

:disappointed:

The Saints are making Sanchez look like a rookie in his 4th game. They're doing a good job of bringing this offense back to Earth.

They're running backs. You can't build a passing game from 2 yd dump passes. Miller is it. Heyward Bey is shit at the moment...

Heyward-Bey was going to be shit, and we all knew this at draft time. Al Davis thinks he's a big thing, so he needs to be the focal point of the passing game.

Gradkowski should have the starting job soon...

Heyward-Bay is fast, that's it. That doesn't mean he's a good receiver. How in the world did they take him over Crabtree?

Gradkowski should never ever see a football...

He's the best option they have. I still have no clue why they cut Garcia...Charlie Frye is the 3rd QB, and let's not get started on him...

New York Jets @ New Orleans Saints - I think I made a mistake. Mark this down as the game of the weekend. The Jets get a chance to prove they're for real, and the Saints defense gets a chance to show that last week was no fluke. I'm thinking this game is decided with who plays better when the Jets have the ball. Saints 19-17

I just want to throw it out there, that I saw this coming.

I was talking about Gradkowski.. He had a game where he was like 3 of 20 for like nine yards. He's shit....

I thought it was Garcia who had the 0.0 Passer Rtg game.

I'll be amazed if Sanchez bounces back today. They're all over him.

The Raiders should have kept Josh McCown. He's not a great quarterback by any means, but he can get you some W's with a good team around him.

Anyway, the Saints are up 17-3 at Halftime. Our offense hasn't looked so hot, but our defense have gotten us some HUGE plays (both of our touchdowns came from them). Hopefully, the Saints offense can start to pick it up early in the 3rd and put this game away.

The Saints get a bye next week, and the Giants host the Raiders.

I'm thinking we get a showdown of unbeatens, and possibly a preview of the NFC Championship game. I don't know what team in the NFC can beat either of them right now...

I'm having a tough time lining up MVP possibilities so far. For the most part, the players with big games were facing teams that they should have dominated. I may go with a reach, and go with either Charles Grant or Darren Sharper. They're the reasons the Saints are up by 14...

If the Giants manage to fend off those deadly Raiders...What are the chances we can work out a gentlemen's bet, jmt?

:disappointed: The Saints just keep giving the Jets opportunities. The Jet's aren't exactly capitalizing though...

17-10 pending the PAT. What happened to the Saints defense? Two huge runs by Washington and Jones. You can only give the blocking so much credit. After 5 yards, someone needs to make a play.
