NFL Draft 2010

good fucking lord. Andy Reid made a joke about a shirt being so big, he can fit Sal Paolantonio in the shirt WITH HIM. God, that's a terrible mental image.

the only aggravating thing is NFL network has a tendency to show all combine drills and senior bowl stuff for their highlight packages, becuase they have exclusive access to the footage...unfortunately, I could give two fucks about Combine drills and Senior Bowl footage, I want to see game tape

This timing is amazing. The Yankee game starts in a minute, and the 3rd round (and day 2) ends in like 4 picks. I was worried about missing along time of the draft, and I won't miss anything now.

I have wanted to watch the combine for years now. I would rather see game tape in moments like this, but the actual combine in February is something I have wanted to watch since they aired it the first time.

New Orleans just took a Tight End (Jimmy Graham from The U). Don't they have both Shockey and the Wendy's guy (Dave Thomas)?

the Panthers are stupid beyond belief. The Pats traded 89 overall to the Panthers for their 2011 SECOND round pick. So god damn stupid by the panthers. Why trade a 2nd for a late 3rd? God, there are times I want to punch GMs in the face.

So who will be joining JJ and I here for the morning?

I will try and be here for a while tomorrow. I probably won't watch all 4 rounds, but will likely watch a lot of it.

:lmao: Can never have enough offensive weapons there for Sean Payton. Shockey is injury prone and often nicked up. Big fan of Jimmy Graham, he is one of my personal favorites at the TE position in the draft.

AWESOME pick by the Bengals there. Ghee is a guy I thought could have been an early to mid 2nd round guy and he gives the Bengals some help at CB to back up Leon Hall and JoJo (both exceptional corners). Good to see McCoy get drafted finally to Cleveland. Not a fan of McCoy but he seems like a classy kid who is gonna work to get somewhere.

Most teams view a 3rd this year as a 2nd next year. 2nd this year for a 1st next year. It just how the pick point system works out. I believe Denver last year traded their 1st this year to move up in the 2nd last year to pick Alphonso Smith.

Honestly, falling so far could end up being good for McCoy. He may end up playing with a chip on his shoulder, which helps a lot of players. Not to mention his team got 2 better players with the other picks. His Classiness was shown the way he handled the extremely long wait. Of course, when you got a hot interviewer with you the whole time, it isn't a bad thing (same with Claussen, who might have wanted to offer a spare room for Erin Andrews and get some camera up in there). SARCASM

Sweetness. Looking forward to some more bantering and such. I'm sure come round 5 I will start not knowing the guys being picked haha.

I didn't even know all the people being picked now. I probably wouldn't have stayed past Colt if I remembered that the Jets traded their 3rd this year. nothing like getting Braylon Edwards last year for the 92nd pick in the draft).

I used to hate baseball games on the West coast, but tonight I love it. I missed just the top of the 1st of the Yankee game. Thank you MLB for scheduling a west coast trip during the draft.

:lmao: I owe you some rep for hanging in there with this shindigger. I'm off now, cya guys tomorrow bright and early! Bruce Campbell still there I believe, he is the guy I'll be watching for. I had him as a 1st-2nd rounder, guess I missed on him haha.

the problem is the Pats also have the Raiders 1, which is looking like a higher 1 then people thought (especially if Russell doesn't play). They have 4 picks in the first 2 rounds. As a Jet fan, I hate this, even though they will trade them all for 2nd rounders.

I expect that Raiders pick to be in the Top 5, which New England won't give up.

dude, their D alone could make them at least 6-10, especially if they have competant offense, which is possible. Their D has been pretty good, and just got a couple more pieces for it.

No team with JaMarcus Russel as their starting QB will be 6-10. Ever.

I think Gradkowski will win the starting job and he could get them up to 7 wins in my opinion. I think 6-10 or 7-9 will be the Raiders record come seasons end. They've had a solid draft thus far and a decent team to pan out. If they start Grad or trade for JCamp they could surprise some people.

I'm beyond pissed at Jimmy Clausen ending up in Carolina.

Out of all the 32 teams there are, he ends up in the ONE place I don't want that motherfucker being. Fuck!!
