Our defense can't stop your local junior varsity middle school team, our coaches can't make adjustments, and the offense with the most patched up line this side of the New England Patriots is expected to outscore the opponent every game in order to have a chance at winning.

Sly must have made that birthday wish for me because the Saints were lucky as fuck to win that game. In fact, I say the refs won it for us more than the team did. I bitch about the refs a lot but I have to acknowledge when their calls are going our way, and that was definitely the case today.

And even on the safety we got to make it a 3 point game, all credit goes to the crowd than our shitty ass defense. They were the ones who flustered Tampa's offense, not the defensive play.

But whatever, a win's a win. Glad the Falcons lost, but fuck Chicago for blowing that game against Carolina. Pathetic. Almost as pathetic as the Saints letting the Bucs compete to the extent they did today.

I don't do that "2nd favorite team" bullshit but if I did, I'd have to pick the Arizona Cardinals right now. This team is so well coached, plays with so much heart... it's hard not to root for them.

Plus, of course, I'm a HUGE Honey Badger and Patrick Peterson fan, so that helps too.
