I've probably been one of the people that have been the most anti-Sidious. I don't agree with his views and I don't like the turmoil that his opinions have created in the forums.

But the fact of the matter is that he is an absolutely phenomenal wrestling poster. His threads and posts are well thought out, clear, concise, to the point, and follow every rule and regulation that Wrestlezone has to offer. His views are thought-provoking and they garner attention and replies. Believe it or not, every post of Sidious's that we've replied to have made us better and more intelligent posters. I'm not saying we should agree with his views and opinions, but I think that new posters should pay attention to him and use his style as a guideline on HOW to post on this website. No one's personal opinions can change the fact of how deserving he is of this new position.

I've always said this... I may not like him personally but I certainly respect the fuck out of him.

Are we sure it's a good idea to promote someone to moderator of a forum devoted to a product they've consistently and incessantly stated their hatred for since pretty much day 1? And not just the product but, recently, the fans of that product as well?

I'm not trying to start a fight or anything and I have no intention of arguing about it, but doesn't that reflect badly on the forums as a whole? I'm not saying only card-carrying WWE marks should mod the forum, but surely there's a middle ground.

I fail to see why a moderator has to blindly support the section he mods for...
