Still, the defense getting torched by a 3-8 Double A team. Needs to be improved. And the 5 penalties.

Looks like TCU isn't gonna get a shot at the national Championship. And Baylora QB was beast. Wow. What a way to start the season. If only the teams knew how to play defense.

TCU lost way too many players, I didn't think they'd do much anyway, so obviously I thought their ranking was absurd. Dalton and Kerley were two HUGE losses, not to mention the losses on both the O and D lines.

Yep, that and Erin Andrews boobs, which should come into play in a couple of hours. Very happy football season's back.

But that was a great game last night. I had it on in the background as just noise, but I was glued to the fucking tube nearly that entire 2nd half.

Yeah, not me. When I saw TCU vs. Baylor I expected a blow-out by TCU. Had no idea the game would ever come close to being that crazy, but that's college football for you.

Hopefully LSU vs. Oregon tonight is just as good. Jarrett Lee better fucking step up.

Yup, this game has been my upset pick since I seen the schedule, ive been talking about it for weeks. TCU lost a lot of major guys, Baylor is on the rise, has a great individual player, nd has the opening game on a friday night.

Ended up going down exactly how I envisioned it.

I dont think TCU will lose for the rest of the season though, might even beat Boise. I like what I saw, Patterson will get the defense together

They won't beat Boise unless a significant injury (like Kellen Moore) happens. Boise choked away undefeated last year and the game is at the smurf turf. Obviously their D can improve from this game, but Baylors D wasn't special either and I'd expect them to not hang a ton of points on everyone.

And yeah, I'm probably gonna be glued to my TV all day. Early games don't look good at all (NW/BC looks like the best game, but there's no Persa) but ND/SF game UCLA/Houston, and WMU/UM game interest me at 3:30. And there are them two headliners at 8, which I'll probably be switching back and forth to.

Still, it'll be an awesome start to the college football season. Can't wait.

Some surprisingly solid games so far on tap. NW/BC has been somewhat of a defensive struggle although NW is hitting a groove in the 3rd. Utah State is hanging tough with National Champion Auburn, although they just lost their lead.

Ohio state, Alabama, VT, and Penn State are all cruising, and Miami Ohio is giving Missouri some fits at half, down 10-0.

Utah State has just gotten a FG to retake the lead, while NW continues to lead by a TD nearing the end of the 3rd.

I'm rooting for Miami Ohio to pull an upset. Their HC was MSU's OC last year and he was the coach when Dantonio was out with his heart attack. It's great that he's getting a chance to succeed (even if it's only in the MAC) and I'd love to see him get a debut win, especially since this team has talent and was a 10 win team last season.

Go Utah State as well.

Jeremy Ebert with the big catch for the Wildcats. NW backup QB is having a pretty impressive game. At least they can fell a little bit safe knowing that Persa isn't their entire offense.

WOW Chucky Keaton is playing like a boss for Utah State. Only a true Freshman to. A rushing TD, and Utah State has retaken a 3 point lead on the defending champion.
