I would like to see Ricky Steamboat, He had a great matches with Jericho and what if he wanted to take on Jerishow with a partner? Thatd be great. Also how about Bill Goldberg? I was always a fan of his. And everyone says lets bring the american Dream for a host well I agree but instead of him getting punted what if Cowboy Bob Orton showed up and got punted by Cody or Ted? WOW! lol. Also ummm Id like to see ICP (Insane Clown Posse) host a Raw. been a long time since they been on WWE TV. lol.

UM, ricardo Cowboy Bob ORton has been dead for 4 years. And Just for the record this weeks raw was great. I applaud you nancy odell, and the sexy maria mennounos ( no clue how to spell her last name.

Newsflash: Cowboy Bob Orton is still living.

If they can have Cody and Ted's dads as guest hosts then why can't they have Randy's dad as well. It wouldn't hurt anything to do it. Look at the way Legacy is disintegrating as we speak. Who wouldn't see Cody or Ted attack Orton's father?

That was Randy's grandfather, Bob Orton Sr., Randy's father (Bob Orton Jr.) is very much still alive.

I'd like seeing Cowboy Bob again on screen, if only to add a bit of nostalgia to the show. It worked very well when they had Dusty Rhodes as the Guest Host, they need to get more legends to host these Raw's.

ive enojyed this guest host thing since it started. its been a huge smell of fresh air, with legend like mdm, sgt, slaughter, rhodes, to celebrites like zz top, shaq, mayweather, barker, ben roethlisberger, and nancy odell (which she was looking really hot monday). im looking forward to snopp dogg next monday. this has just been awesome concept:):)

Just realized what i wrote previously, sorry I was thinking one thing and wrote another. I know Cowboy is alive, but i was thinking of bob orton sr. Anyway it would be cool if he came back to put Orton over once again, like when orton was in the undertaker fued.

Yeah I actually really enjoyed Randy's dad getting involved in that feud, thought it really helped Randy get over more, his father has unfairly seemingly been forgotten in WWE history, he put on some damn good matches in the 80s.

Snoop Dogg will probably make a good guest. You just know they're going to get him involved with Cena in some way. should definitely be more entertaining than most of these guest hosts.

I've heard rumors that Vern Troyer, AKA Mini Me from the Austin Powers movies, is supposed to be a guest host sometime this fall.

When I heard this, I have to admit that I felt this deep empty pit growing right in the center of my stomach. You know...you just have to fucking know that they're going to do something with Vern and Hornswoggle. I can almost feel my nuts start to retract up into my body just thinking about this.

well from what went down on the 10th anniverary of smackdown there is a good possibilty of the rock hosting raw in the near future and as he has a new film out in the new year it would make sense
i for one would love if the rock guest hosted raw especially if they give him creative control on what he says
he could have a great promo with randy orton as it seemed tat in their past promos together they had great chemisty
it would also be interesting to see wat they do wit him and cena giving all the bickering between tem any thoughts

there needs to be more wwe legends hosting raw. the reason why wwe is using these

celebrites as hosts is for main stream popularity. but so far i am liking this guest host

idea. it is great and deffinately fresh, every week is something different.

I think its cool to see Ozzy and Sharon on Raw debut on Raw next week. I'm glad it's just them instead of the entire crew with Jack and Kelly. After that god awful variety show the Osbournes did, we don't need to see any more of that. I think it will be hilarious to see Ozzy try to announce the names. At least it will be funny when he tries to say Kofi Kingston. I wonder if WWE will have the censors in place or will just bleep out everything Ozzy is saying even if it isn't obscene.

I think Sharon will probably do most of the talking though. I don't think Snoop was a bad host, but the Nascar guys were probably the most boring hosts next to ZZ Top. At least they tried to cut promos. I think The Osbournes will be pretty funny, too bad there aren't any British stars on Raw for them to route for. British Bulldogs Rule! as Ozzy once said at Wrestlemania 5.

I hate to say it but the Osbournes will be just another ZZ Top. They are Mega Celebs and you expect them to follow WWE? i doubt they have watched RAW in 20 yrs. I just say the Osbournes will be a disaster.

as an English viewer i just wish WWE would stop putting on nfl and nascar stars who i have never heard of. they are just isolating their fans if i havent heard of them how is a 8-12yr old UK viewer meant to of have heard of them. remember wwe you are world wrestling entertainment and there is a world outside the USA.

Kyle Busch and Joey Logano were both pretty shitty. I'm guessing they didn't appear much because they sucked during the opening segment, and that's a good thing. Kofi Kingston was apparently having his "coming out" party, and they fouled up his name...Really? No one made sure to remind them both how important that was?

The segment later in the show was good, with Miz and Swagger, but it's not like either of them really said much. They just looked like a few horny pimple-faced teens trying to see what was under Eve's skirt.

Ozzy and Sharon next week though...This could be interesting. I'll try to tune in again, if just to see Ozzy, but I'm not expecting entertainment gold either on the mic.

You thought HOGAN signing with TNA was big?!

Well listen to this!

You heard right, former WCW CHAMPION David Arquette may be hosting Raw soon! Hogan who?

Well, doesn't this just put a damper on TNA's big news for the day. TNA hits solid gold today, and Vince comes back with Platinum. That'll show TNA who's boss. Let's see how they like them apples.

I heard that they were interested in bringing him in a short time ago. At least Vince is on top of his game, though, and making preparations to deal with Hogan.

So, even though it's almost 10 years after WCW folded, this presents yet ANOTHER opportunity for WWE to bury WCW. You know it (that certain championship reign) is going to be mentioned and made fun-of several times on that episode of Raw where Arquette hosts.

Let it go already, WWE!

Can't you just focus on fresher ideas like the Montreal Screw Job of 1997?!?

Sheesh!

Arquette as host would actually be funny as hell. I mean, he's an entertaining and charismatic man on his own, and add in his unique wrestling history? He's perfect for the guest host concept, and I think it'd be pretty damn fun. The jokes would just keep coming all night, and he'd probably be in a ridiculous squash match for the title or something. I'd find it good entertainment.

I marked out a little inside as I read that. That would, as Harthan rightly said, be as funny as hell. It should be one of the best guest hosted RAWs if pulled off properly. I'd love to see it.

Epicness. I'll be sure to tune in for it...Arquette can be a funny guy, but as said earlier, the repeated burial of WCW is not necessary at this point, and the joke would become tiresome at best. However, Arquette fits the role perfectly of irrelevant C-List (I'm being nice) celebrity that the mainstream pop culture could give two shits about.

I know people shit on WCW for Arquette, but the WWE gave us this gem...

just sayin...

Gotta love the sarcasm. I really don't see this having any big effect, or even a counter to Hogan and Bischoff signing with TNA. It is just another guest host, who just so happened to have gotten a fluke WCW Title win. This is going to go the same route as just about every other Guest Host on Raw, with some decent ratings, probably some laughs, and hopefully some quality matches. But for now, this isn't impressive, and the Hogan signing is still what trumps everything wrestling related. Hopefully Arquette can bring some laughs and make the show interesting.

This is just rubbing the past follies of professional wrestling in the fan's faces. Arquette had no place near the wrestling ring in 2000, and he has no place near one now. He would've been fine, possibly, if he had never one the title or got involved in the ring, nevertheless the title scene, when he was with WCW, but just appeared on Nitro to promote the show. But he hurt the business by winning the title in the first place, and because of this he hurts the business whenever he gets involved with it in anyway now. You know that title reign will be brought up and made fun of, just devaluing it. This isn't good for anything and at most will provide a little bit of comedy that can be provided in other ways. Stupid decision.

Will never happen but would be interesting now that they signed Hogan BUT that is a lot of pressure on one man's shoulders to carry TNA to the next level. Lets face it Hogan ain't no spring chicken he has numerous surgeries. However I could see WWE stepping it up a little because of this tiny blip on the TNA radar I see it being news for a couple weeks but not lasting.

So here is WWE's solution is pull in Bret Hart. i know that he can't wrestle but just the name value and shock of him being back in WWE therefore would compete with TNA Hogan singning just because Bret Hart would be on RAW again and I say first show back have him face to face somehow with HBK and work Vince in there and you would see the ratings go up that night for sure. Of course highly advertise it sand boom you'd have TNA/WWE fans by the millions tuning in.

In the long run this will have no effect but show Vince's ego.Think about it who does the current product watchers for the most part know Hulkamania that Vince made out to be the one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and Eric Bischoff that some will know as GM of WCW but most will know as the GM of RAW.On the other side we have some has been that only WCW fans would know being presented by VinnyMac on WWE TV.I honestly think that TNA wins this little battle but probably won't win a war if one happens.

Well I'll be damned... David Arquette to host RAW as Celebrity Guest? Wow... that is a good announcement for sure to battle against how Hogan/Bischoff are headed to TNA. I mean, this guy was a former WCW Champion in his own right and is very entertaining on the stick. He could really do wonders for the show and bring the ratings up to a good level. RAW needs to have celebrities who have great charisma, comedic and if need be, able and willing to work in the ring. Arquette is the epitome of the specifications required and it will be interesting to see how many times he will make me laugh.

Smart decision to bring in David Arquette.

Nobody cares about David Arquette anymore. NOBODY.

I thought this thread was going to be something like WWE resigns RVD or is bringing back "Macho Man" Randy Savage or something. David Arquette hosting Raw is like WWE bringing in Rick Moranis or Tom Arnold to host an episode. Hell, why not just bring in Roseanne to host Raw.

*sigh*
