I'd like to point out that the largest increase in HBK's votes happened not as a result of anyone pro-Michaels posts, but in direct response to X and TDigs rather harsh and insulting posts. Several posters even mentioned that they voted for HBK over Kobashi just because of the attitude taken by some of Kobashi's most vaunted defenders. Yet those same people are pointing the finger elsewhere.

And as I've said, I voted Kobashi and wanted him to win, but there's a definite inequity in the doling out of the stink eye here.

absolutely, ill gladly step up and say i was one of those people. Also, I like to feel as if I gave quite enough legit reason why i would justify an HBK vote.

I think we are getting to a point to were maybe we shouldnt include japanese wrestlers? Its not that I dont belive they are good enough, but its virtually impossible to get someone from North America to vote for them, maybe not even becuase of ignorcance, but for lack of frame of reference. I mean, yea, Kobashi wrestled bajillions of matches that wer elike 3 hours long of whatever you guys are saying, but those matches were ALSO against OTHER guys who we have never heard of, or seen. You know what im saying?

He is a legend in Japan, but to someone who doesnt know the entire landscape of another country's wrestling scene (one of which you guys have clearly stated is MUCH, MUCH different than our own) how can we compare that to a legend in the US? You can't expect people to upon just your guys word, becuase you make condescending posts. Won't ever work.

Jushin Liger had a great run in the WZ tournament this year. I would chalk a lot of that up to having quite a bit of exposure in America, against other wrestlers we have seen before, which gave us a frame of reference.

It's not the bitch fits and angry ranting that intrigue me. Those actually sadden me because people are taking personal attack shots at each other which is supposed to be a reprimandable offense according to the rules. Over a fucking fictional tournament. It's way rediculous. Your ruining the future chance of their being more of these and intelligent posters like myself who have never gotten to participate may not get to. Plus to be honest I wouldn't have voted in that round. I know alot about Shawn Michaels but without proper knowledge of the other guy I couldn't have justly voted. That's how most people should have voted in my opinion. It seems like most people who voted for HBK did so because those other two guys pissed them off by being mean to Becca. Who I assume is a young girl with alot of friends on here. I also find it ironic that that Will guy called Interdictdigle the most respected mod on here. Actually he said that tdigs was the mod the he, personally, respected the most. Members here don't get to have their names in bold unless they are respected by the community first.

These types of rants and arguments almost always happen during tournments. It's like an unwritten, mandatory rule or something. Unless something drastic happens, the tension will have blown over after a month or so.
