March 31st Raw 2014 - Wrestlemania Go-Home Show

I'm bored shitless by Taker these days. Same predictable shit every year. it's getting really, really old.

That's why I'm ready for the streak to end. I think this may become a much more common opinion in the next year or two. End it before everyone wants it to end.

Ok, to all you people saying this is boring.

Brock can't attack Undertaker before the match. Why? Because he'll hurt him. There's a reason why UNdertaker wrestles once a year: he's getting old and can't take that kind of physicality week to week. Brock Lesnar is one of the hardest hitting guys in wrestling history and is going to take a lot out of Undertaker. Both guys have great matches almost every time they're out there and the Streak is going to sell itself. This is all about wanting to see the match, and their past performances sell that better than anything they could do here.

It almost seemed that Lesnar had to get something in tonight or else he'd be heading into the match without having done anything of note leading up to the match. But I still don't see the streak ending.

In the end, Undertaker wins after he is beat to a pulp and disappears for months again.

Yeah, I can accept that. But you don't waste 3 or 4 minutes of nothing but complete silence, with Lesnar circling the ring. That's not going to hype people up, that's going to make people want to change the channel.

Ahh well, the match will be good, so I should probably be less of a Scrooge.

What a lackluster segment. If this is supposed to get me hyped for Mania, then it failed in all regards. The commentators are making this even worse.

Taker is going to be boring and predictable no matter who he faces. What sucks is that they're wasting one of Brock's few in ring appearances a year on it.

Keeping guys apart before a big match used to be very common and a better way to build the match. Before WM3 Hogan and Andre were in a battle royal together and had about ten seconds of contact and the crowd went absolutely nuts for it. Just a little something to wet the appetite before the big showdown. No need to give too much away before the ppv.

That was a time for hype by the commentary. "OH MY!" and "HERE WE GO!" should have been yelled. Suspense should have been held. Instead we got bumbled lines that were practically inaudible.

At least the table seems to have woken up now.
