[Lockdown] Devon v. El Anarchia [Steel Cage]

A special match has been added to the TNA Wrestling Lockdown pre-show prior to the Pay-Per-View event. Devon will be facing Anarquia of the newly formed group of the Mexican America in a steel cage match.

This is a prime example of the inherent problem with Lockdown. These two have had a total of part of a tag match against each other and now they're in a PPV cage match? Anarchia has had a total of one match in TNA and now he's in a gimmick match at a PPV? Does this not sound odd to anyone else? I get that it's a gimmick of the show, but it's still very odd and never something I've been a fan of. Match won't be anything interesting either.

snoozefest. the mexican american takeover isn't interesting at all, the dudley split isn't interesting at all....just a filler match so the crowd and those watching at home can take a piss and get something to eat (not necessarily in that order.)

You guys can read right? It's not on the PPV, it's part of the free pre-show before Lockdown airs. The match itself will suck, but it's not on the PPV and no one is paying for it so it's nothing to complain about.

The big deal is simple... How is this match going to make me want to order the ppv?

Ok lets give away a free match before the ppv! But lets make it a horrible one!

That's not a good business move... If you want to have a free match make it a undercard match with name recognition and with people who can go and have history... Not Devon and someone who has only had one match in the company...

But it's TNA in all honesty they are just giving you for free what they will charge you for later in the evening!

i find devon to be terrible in the ring....the other guy i dont really know...fortunitely it's a dark match for free so it doesn't really hurt the ppv at all...that's one match i wont even watch for free though lol

Why not guys, why not put this dude over. Devon as stated is one of the biggest tag team wrestlers ever. Why bitch? Anarchia is getting a rub in a brutal match aganst one of the best if he beats Devon. What ever happened to, it's just a pre show match? Who the hell cares? He needs to be built up somehow, and he's going to tag with super mex. What better way than beating one of the best in the tag devision.

Wow Devon wins so he remains somewhat relevant. I could see this being the equivalent of a WWE diva's match where I would take my piss break. I think honestly who cares as to what happens in this match considering they will give the win to Devon cause nobody cares about the Mexican.

Well, a new stable should start by dominating. And it's not like Devon's in line for a push or anything. Anarquia FTW in a match presented almost live via Youtube. Yay.

This was disappointing. Did Devon honestly need a win here? He's nothing without Ray and a win here would have been great for Anarquia because he's new and could actually benefit from winning the match unlike Devon who will never amount to anything outside of winning tag team titles with Ray.
