As much as I like the sound of Jericho vs HBK in a ladder match, it seems like a double edged sword.
Sure we get an entertaining match and its awesome and maybe its MOTY but the ending seems either predictable or depressing.
Predictable in as much as we've heard numerous times HBK doesn't want the responsibility of being the champion anymore, so Jericho retains.
Or
Depressing in as much as HBK wins and gets a final reign as champion and the hangs up his broken heart covered tights, he red leather fingerless gloves and mirrored vest.
The question I'm asking myself is does Jericho need another rub from HBK? I don't think so, he's totally over. And the other question I'm asking is am I ready for Shawn Michaels to retire? And I'd rather not see that happen yet. I always thought he's end his career fighting somebody else who's stardom at least rivaled his own. and Jericho, unfortunately, is not that guy.
