He can't carry it all by himself when WCW had the fucking nWo storyline in full swing.

WCW was the better product in 96-97. I'll tell you that because I watched it.

Either can John Cena....

Don't contradict yourself...

Brian, I don't fucking care about ratings...I just care if I find the product entertaining, I could give a shit less if ROH or ECW sold out a bingo hall or MSG, as long as they entertain me, that's all I care about

98-01 was the Attitude Era...ROFLMAO.

ok, so the birth of people cheering Austin wasnt in the attitude era??? Bret Hart being heel, and he and Austin fighting into an ambulence wasnt the attitude era??? DX raising hell wasnt attitude era???

meh really I dont think u can put exact dates on "era's" thats kind of stupid...

and you are correct, WCW was at that time better.

CENA DOESNT EVEN HAVE ANY COMPETITION!!!!!! GOOD FUCKING GOD IS IT REALLY THAT HARD TO UNDERSTAND?!?!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!

Plus Cena's boring ass in HBK's spot with the nWo storyline in full swing, see what he can do. JACK FUCKING SHIT. I guaran goddamn tee it.

He would be jobbing to Marc Mero weekly.

Wrestlemania 14 marked the beginning of the Attitude Era. I think Vince even said that himself somewhere.

Who does Cena have on Raw that Sells? The attitude ERA had Austin, the Rock, Foley, Taker, and several others... It's not like Austin carried the whole thing...

Cena really has no one else on Raw... HHH doesn't even sell like Cena, nor does HBK, nor does Jeff Hardy.

yeah i believe 97 was the Michaels era... gosh he couldnt carry a compan, and people criticize Cena...

The difference being WWE had real competition on Monday nights then, and don't now, HBK still carried a company that was competing with another company for ratings, and Cena isn't going up against the same challenge, if Cena were going up against another promotion on Monday nights you might actually have an argument

meh, Cena is booked to play to his audience, who enjoy the way things are booked...IE the hero comeback overcome the odds shit everytime...I dont think its makes him shit, I think it makes him unfairly criticized...I mean do you think HE comes to bookers, and creative and says "hey in this one..I want my opponet to beat my ass for 20 minutes solid, and then out of nowere, ill act like nothing happened and use my five signature moves to win!!!"...no...thats what his audience likes, and enjoys, so thats how he is booked...

I thin WCW won by a large margin

Wrestlemania 14 marked the beginning of the Attitude Era. I think Vince even said that himself somewhere.

like I said, im not sure if one persons opinion of the beginning of an era can be calle dright or wrong. A lot of people may say the attitude era started at SS 97, with the screwjob...in my opinion, when the WWE officially crossed over from the old rock nd wrasslin, to what we have now, was the Hart Austin submission match, at WM 13. thats just my personal opinion.

That had nothing to do with his argument Brian..HAHAHAHAHA

No, it showed that Michaels could do jack squat... It shows that Michaels wasn't a ratings booster... Shows Michaels didnt sell in 1997... He could not hold a light to WCW>

Cena's audience stays steady. Michaels did not...

Ok, that has nothing to do with what I was saying at all, but fuck it, lets just say WCW wasn't around then, WWE would most likely have picked up WCWs portion of the ratings, thus HBK would have drawn bigger ratings than Cena
