Leave the Undertaker's WM Streak Alone!!

I know that the "Who should end the Undertaker's WM streak club" has been getting a lot of discussion lately. Seriously, title runs aside, that streak makes the Undertaker untouchable in his own legendary way. Leave the Undertaker's WM Streak Alone!! Does anyone agree?

I must say, I do agree. I was one for having Samoa Joe be undefeated at BFG, but that didn’t happen. I think there is no one in the WWE today that “should” beat the Taker at Mania. Either the Star is already over (Main Eventers), or the star is not over enough (Mid – Carders), or Taker has already beaten him (look it up). There are 364 other days in a year for Taker to “put someone over”. There is no need to take this away from him. On the other side of the coin, I don’t believe anyone should beat the streak in the future as well. Just my opinion, but valuable nonetheless.

No, I don't agree. If one loss destroys a legacy, that legacy was too flimsy to be worth people's time and emotional investment in the first place. But aside from that, not putting anyone over in the end would be the wrong move. People go out on their back so that the next crop of guys can move up. It's how the business works. I know Taker is abnormally well repsected by his peers, but I don't think he should be above tradition.

Undertaker will be exactly as legendary as he is now if he were to lose the streak. Don't let markdom blind you into thinking otherwise.

“Markdom”?? Let me ask you, why do you watch Wrestling if not to “Mark” out?? Why would the WWE even bother with the Streak if all they are going to do with it is have him lose his last or second to last Mania match?? Why put someone over when they can do that some other time with some other Star?? Why ruin a good thing?? There are many good things left in Pro Wrestling, and damn it, this is one of them. I’m not Taker’s biggest fan, but I am a fan of the Streak. I say, if 26 is his last, hand him Cean. If 27 is his last, hand him Jericho and then Cena. If he can go one more and make it 20 – 0, I say, Jericho, then Cena, then give him Hogan’s head on a platter…for the World Title.

Taker going out undefeated helps nobody.

Taker losing helps someone and then anyone who that someone works with after that.

Losing helps more than keeping it intact.

People like you are going to make the guy who breaks the streak a MASSIVE heel. It's gonna be awesome because of the pedestal some people have put the streak on.
