It hurts mine too but it really doesn't surprise me the more I think about it. The WWE writing staff is made up of toddlers: they get a new toy, play with it for a few months, get bored with it, and throw it on the ground while playing with whatever else they're given.

Ive just rewatched the HBK v Austin title match from Mania 14...having read Shawn's book and knowing how much pain he was in, its noticable throughout the match how much his back is killing him.

For him still to compete to that level is astonishing. Do you agree? Did you know he was so badly injured at the time? Did fans have a clue it was going to be Shawn's last match?

Would you be a little pissed if they ever do this with any of The Shield?

People knew but they didn't know how bad it was. Keep in mind also that Austin's neck was TERRIBLE at this point. Watch Survivor Series 97 against Owen. Austin can barely move and he hadn't improved much by this point.

It's an amazing performance from both guys.

Pissed? Nah. Annoyed yes.

If I reviewed all of the episodes of FCW's TV show (and/or any other wrestling shows that I end up watching but you have no interest in) would there be any chance that I could negotiate them going up on your site?

FCW produced well over 100 TV episodes, for what it's worth.

Fair 'nuff.

If John Cena and Hulk Hogan were put in eachother's respective places in history, how would WWE have changed?

Today Hogan would get about three tryout matches and then be told he doesn't know how to work. Cena likely would have been ok, as he's shown the ability to talk about whatever he wants at the drop of a hat.

They hired Snitsky, I doubt they'd pass on Hogan. He'd be made to stay in OVW for a while, but Vince would still need to change his underpants whenever he saw the guy.

Who was your favorite guy that Magnus teamed with?

Could you imagine the Shield winning the WWE title and somehow holding it to ransom, defending it in a pseudo-Freebird style?

Either Williams or Joe. Probably Williams.

It's not impossible but it could happen.

That would invoke the Andre-DiBiase ammendment.

I can answer my own questions.

Martha Hart has settled with the WWE. Did you ever see that happening? Is the matter finally done?

Probably so. I'd hope so as the reasons she gave were absurd in the first place.

And? Me providing alternative answers isn't exactly a new thing in this thread.

JBL's apparently a permanent addition to Raw (when he's not up a mountain). Should WWE permanently subtract Jerry Lawler to make it a two man booth?

No but it's something I don't want you doing so cut it out.

Nah. Lawler is such a fixture on Raw that people would be annoyed he was gone.

don't blame you. so far this show sucks. so much so they didn't even bother to put the signature video package at the beginning of the show.

Jim Ross: underutilized, or did WWE drop him at the right time from announcing?

The problem for me is the show is too long. These would be solid to excellent two hour shows but they have that third hour and it always drags.

He was fine where he was.

if the shield stays together for a long period of time, should they add new members? or should they stick to the original 3?

(if so, up to how many?)
