The only Cena match I ever liked was the I Quit match with JBL... But thats not really a match that'll go down as a classic....
 
I think the only way Cena will ever have a classic match is if he has someone like HBK carry him through the entire match... Other then that... Not gonna happen..
 
I don't think that'd be classic either since in a classic match both wrestlers should be good in the match. The only match that Cena ever had that really stood out in my mind is the Parking Lot Brawl with him and Eddie Guerrero.

I'm looking foward to the classic buried alive match with Cena and Undertaker... where Cena gets smothered accidentally by the dirt and never wrestles again.
 
they should do wat they did to the rock...first ppl didnt like him so they made him a heel...then he's a face and everyone loves him...i think it would work for cena cause they're pretty much the same in wrestling...



i hope rock comes back and faces Cena...they would be a dream match...probably jinxing it cause goldberg vs lesnar really sucked!
 
Goldberg vs Lesnar was both their last matches in WWE, I don't think they really planned it at all and I doubt either really cared. And I'd totally lose my faith in WWE if they brought Rock back to face Cena and not make a young superstar. They should put Cena on SD! after 'Mania, I think that he'd fit back in perfectly.
 
Cena might not be the best technical wrestler in the world, but I wouldn't compare him to the likes of Snitsky/Khali/Warrior/Nathan Jones and Heidenrich.

Thats exactly what I thought they should do, too. The Rock may be a little better wrestler than Cena but like I said. Cena take a little time off work on his game a little bit come back as heel with a new gimmik other than the white guy rapper. That formula works, worked for the Rock and Stone Cold.
 
Ok I though I created this thread for CENA FANS, all the haters need to go somewhere else. Ok if Edge is so much better than Cena, why has it been this long before they put the belt on him? Edge isn't a bad wrestler, a bad wrestler is The Great Khali. Cena has got something nobody else has, and one day everyone will realise it.

So he can get better.

Cena is not a wrestler, he's a sports entertainer, his peak was when he was on SD!, he can't wrestle, his promos are stupid and not funnny. WWE has to do something about him, get him a good trainer so he can improve.
 
Why did it take so long to get the belt on Edge? He came up in different times kid. When you had to EARN a world title. Now they just give it to you on a silver platter if you can yell loud enough and get the little girls and little boys to fawn over you.

The difference between Edge and Cena is that Edge rose through the ranks and paid his dues like every great wrestler that came before him. he has history with the greats, and is one of the only links left to the attitude era. Cena was handed fame the second he stepped in those ropes. His first major feud was with Jericho, and they put him over! PATHETIC.
 
Well, some wrestlers have that certain thing that makes them championship material, in all honesty I don't think Edge has it. The Rock was given the title pretty early, although Triple H definitely rose through the ranks to become the best the WWE has to offer.
 
I disagree. I'm not a huge Edge fan, but I think he was long overdue for a title run and I think he's pretty interesting. If Christian could make a good champion, why can't Edge, who IMO is better than Christian.

This is a wrestling forum- you discuss here. I hate it when Cena fans call people who don't like Cena "haters". People don't hate Cena the person- just his horrible wrestling skills and the gimmick that he has. Edge was long overdue for the title- but just because you win the world title doesn't make you a good wrestler (Though, Edge is a great wrestler). There have been great wrestlers that have never won the title in the past (Owen Hart RIP, Dean Malenko, etc) and bad wrestlers who have (Ultimate Warrior). You can't base talent on titles since they're predetermined. What does Cena have that no one else does- please do tell.

jhon cena is okay but cumon i mean for gods sake get on with it jhon for the past 2 years its been cena cena so lets just switch gears i guess lets say that cena gets out of the title range and goes on to challenge for the ic title that would be good
 
Ok I've read the 1st couple replies and I see some negative Cena comments here. One that sticks in my mind is that he is not a good wrestler.

WELL GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!!! FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, ITS NOT ALL ABOUT WRESLTING IN WWE. ITS "SPORTS ENTERTAINMENT"!!!!!!!!.
I am sick and tired of hearing people say he can't wrestle. OK WE GOT THE POINT. The fact of the matter is that he brings in money for the company, as he is the man the fans want to see. He throws a lot of punches and body slams, and now has the STFU. Keep in mind The Rock wasn't the best wrestler either.

1st of all, as a wreslting fan, I don't give a SHIT about the merchandise. The man is boring and predictable in the ring.

2nd of all his ''MERCHANDISE'' was made to apeal to a current trend. Which means that put on any other wrestler, that merchandise would have sold anyways.

3rd The Rock and Austin were not the best wrestlers, but theu did know how to put on a good match and tell a good story in the ring. something Cena can not. Besides, Cena is just a fusion of those two wrestlers, very badly executed. His 5 knuckle shuffle is nothing but a people's elbow rip-off, and now he even were an ARMY CAP and talks about how he's ready to fight anyine because he's the toughest wretler in the wwe(remind you of anyone?).

I Think Cena Is A Much More better Wrestler Than Edge 2 And I'm Gonna Stick With Being A Cena Fan No Matter If Fans Boo Him Or Not Becuz He Totally Rules plus he can really entertain and wrestle good matches! Cena Fan 4ever! ^_~
 
Ok... when I first saw Cena in the WWE I was only 11 and I do admit I liked him alot. But now the more I watch him.. it's true he can't wrestle and still..
All the times he defended the WWE title in 2005 he beat numerous wrestlers he should have never beat. He beat Jericho (getting him fired)
Kurt Angle, Shawn Michaels & Angle, Angle AGAIN, then he lost it to Edge
then won it back 2 weeks later. Then SOMEHOW, he made Triple H tap out
how does WWE even try to sell STF as such a dominating submission move?
Bottomline, the only reason John Cena holds these titles & never seems to lose, is because his merch sells. And Edge earned the title.
