I always thought that Cena was better suited as a mid card champion and thats where he was best at. Lets face it- Cena might be an okay wrestler but I don't think he was the right kind of wrestler to stay in the title run for so long.

let me tell you all something. back when cena was on smackdown i literally HATED him. i thought that he was just a jobber that was getting a little push and would go back to mid carders. i was sooo happy when carlito beat him for the US title on his debut. but ever since he has came to raw he has showed a new side that didnt come out on smackdown. hes definatley proved himself and worked hard enough to get where he is today. and all of the people that think he is the worst wrestler ever and think he shouldnt even be in the company are just people that cant voice their own opinions about him or are scared that if they say they like cena then they will get heat about it. so their only option is to jump in the ban wagon, and say he has no talent llike every1 else does. but right now every1 likes him becuz he has the title and people say that he is the best in the world and is number 1, but i gurantee that when cena looses the title everyone will turn on him again and say that he is bad and needs to quit cuz he can only do 3 moves. thats all they can say. they dont know a good franchise when they see one. cena will carry this business through the next decade and will eventually gain respect from everyone. and yes, i agree his current gimmick needs to be changed and he needs to go heel. but the gimmick isnt what u look at. u look at the in ring ability and mic skills, how good one can be with the crowd, how much heat one can gain, do they have the endurance to run a main event match. those are things that make a good solid champion, and all of you will see in the years to come, just as i did when cena got drafted to raw.

i loved it when cena was heel, wore them throwbacks and the steel chains, i think most of everyone on here has said that as well as i have in some point in time, he makes for a great face but he is way better as a heel. i would really like him to turn heel on raw for awhile and or sometime switch to face and jump to smackdown. i dont know, something should happen with cena, he should change his gimmick, and go back to the throwbacks and steel chains as a heel.

i like cena's rapping, i liked the movie he was in,k-fed dosen't have any talent,i mean really is being married to mrs.spears a good thing she's ugly,now she's out of shape and she can't sing.

I don't think either of them have any talent when it comse to rapping. John Cena might be an okay actor, but seriouisly- he should stick to wrestling for now. And he could even improve on that.

i love john cena and i think everyone deep down does 2 but theres something called "jumping on the band wagon" so every since the chicago crowd booed cena everyone started to join in b4 that everyone loved cena
and everyone argues that cena is a bad champ and is a worse champ then edge and i disagree
edge matches are starting to get really boring

now if edge won fair and square and it was a good match i'd be all for edge being the title holder b/c hes a good heel

No way man. The thing u have to realise is that a lot of cena's matches are extremely predictable. Watch RAW and a title defense. Guess what, he either wins through submission/DQ. Edge matches are boring, so were Kurt Angles afte a month , Y2J etc. As with WM22, he was in the ring with the game, HHH can make anyone have a good match. So can Y2J, Kurt Angle and "shudder' Edge. I admit he is a good heel. Thuganomics, he harldy raps at all anymore. Word life is over man

What the Hell are you talking about, people hate ebcause he has the title in the first place and never should have. Was is it that Cena marks say that it is the ones that hate him that jumped on the bandwagon when it is so obvious that it is the other way around. People just gave up on booing him because the WWE was shoving down our throats and then were saying... WE'RE going to make him our main guy, whether you like it or not. His merchandies owuld have sold as much on any other wretler because it is simply the image and the trend that is popular, not the wrestler.

I think that the WWE fan base is solidly behind John Cena...for now..but I still don't see him as a credible face wrestler and think he is way better as a heel.

So here is my idea for a John Cena heel turn:

During the weeks prior to NYR, John Cena has been teaming with DX on RAW and been hanging out and being friendly with them in matches against Rated RKO and Umaga.

At New Year's Revolution, it is DX vs Rated RKO in a no disqualifications match and it is a great match back and forth a lot of action.

It looks like Rated is going to win when John Cena comes running out of the back, he starts to beat up on Edge and then Orton as well. Shawn Michaels then gets in the ring and pats him on the back. Cena starts to leave, HBK gives Edge the Sweet Chin Music, but Cena rolls back in, gives HBK the F-U and then drapes Edge on top for the win. Afterwards, Orton, Edge and Cena celebrate together and they are a new heel stable managed by Eric Bischoff as the "Alliance Against DX".

It is sort of like a new nWo with the whole Hogan thing where he turned on the fans. I doubt WWE would ever do this but lemme know what you guys all think.

I don't think it will ever happen, even though a Cena heel turn is a good idea. Honestly though, Cena is McMahon's meal ticket these day, and he wouldn't want to jeopordize the money in T-Shirt sales.

I want Cena to turn, i dont think he is the top face, he still regularly gets booed, the top faces right now are DX so in all fairness turning Cena heel would not be a bad idea, it would really freshen things up

I highly doubt that Cena will turn heel. He isn't bothered by the boos that he gets so it would make no sense for him to turn heel since he always wins his matches by fighting cleanly unless someone intereferes or if his opponent cheats. The most we can hope for is that after The Marine hype is over that the WWE will drop his "Marine" gimmick. I would like to see Cena start hanging around Stone Cold and start acting as a "Beer drinking SOB" just like Austin. I personnally think that if he acts more like Stone Cold more fans will like him and he wouldn't get as much as boos as he gets nowadays.
