IMPACT Wrestling LD for 01.03.13 is LIVE and Features the Return of Sting!

What a shame, after all of the success that Bully Ray has had this year, after all of his accomplishments after reinventing his character, they have to subject him to this nonsense.

I actually thought that was a great segment. Immediately frustrated with Bully getting suspended, but it's fake wrestling and you have to know it's leading towards something. That something being the obvious heel turn on Hogan.

The only thing that still bothers me is that Hogan is clearly in the wrong here, and the crowd loves him for it. I've always been pissed off with faces making heel decisions and having it be just fine. When they do turn on him, it will be justified, but they'll be seen as the bad guys. Which means I'm not going to have any motivation to hate them.

I'd like to thank Chris Daniels and Kaz for bringing back the old fashioned Pearl Harbor. It's been too long.

I'm like an hour behind you guys but I'm sure I'll catch up in 10 minutes or so.

There's really no reason for tonight's match to be a steel cage, except so that Sting can drop down from the ceiling into the ring. I'm guessing, Aces & Eights hit the ring and get in the cage, but lock it down before Bischoff/Brisco can make the save. Lights go out, Sting drops down, cleans house.

Small possibility that Brisco/Bischoff actually turn heel tonight in the process.

I'm a little behind on tonights show but I was for the most part enjoying it until the segment with Bully/Hogan/and the Tranny. Nothing Hogan said made any sense what so ever. This story line is on the verge of being more stupid than the whole Claire Lynch fiasco! Hogan and his bullshit just ruin this show for me each and every week.

This might sound completely dumb, but what if Sting joins Aces and Eights?

That's not completely dumb. I thought about it, but I don't think TNA's going to go that route. I could see somebody like Anderson persuaded to change sides after being attacked (which still makes very little sense), but Sting? How many times has he been attacked? 2? 3? How many times has he fought with them? It just doesn't make sense.

That being said, logical doesn't often dictate TNA's decisions. So I won't hold them to that standard. But I still don't think that's the route they go down tonight. Or at all, for that matter.

So can someone explain how Mike Tenay became "The Professor"? I've never heard anybody but Todd call him that.
