iMPACT! LD 3/15/10 - "Why, Hulk Hogan, Can You Not Communicate With Me, Hulk Hogan?"

That's my issue with Impact: why have what could be the biggest match of the year when you know two things: the rating last week was pretty low, and you're up against a juggernaut in Austin. Doesn't make a lot of sense.

...What the fuck, was I so stoned that I didn't notice TNA announce a four-way ladder match this Sunday between Daniels, Kendrick, Kaz, and Red? That's going to be fucking AWESOME!

You should download the Dragon Gate USA PPVs KB. There's only been 4 so far, wouldn't be hard to catch up and they're all readily available online. I'd really like to see your thoughts on the promotion.

I've not seen much of USA, but I used to know PAC really well.

Good. It'll atleast give you a better idea of who the Young Bucks are, they've been on every show.

I went to school with him/backyarded with him/ watched shit loads of PPVs during the attitude era with him

Oh he's dragon gate (japan) the man that gravity forgot?

Almost all of the Dragon Gate Japan stuff I've seen has been compilations focusing on guys like Naruki Doi, Shingo, CIMA, YAMATO, BxB Hulk, Dragon Kid, etc. I have seen PAC wrestle a few times before though, once a Chikara show.

Dragon Gate USA is technically a different company though. They're like a "franchise" of the Dragon Gate Japan promotion, run by Gabe Sapolsky (former booker of ROH if you didn't know). They feature a good amount of the big stars from Dragon Gate, and in exchange they hire guys that go over to Japan for them and Gabe like Kendrick, the Bucks, Danielson, Davey Richards, etc.

It's such a fun promotion though. It helps that they only release one show every few months, it keeps the product really fresh and exciting. Also helps that it features consistently excellent wrestling. I'm finishing up their last show, Fearless right now. Just finished watching a three way tag team match between the Young Bucks, Naruki Doi/Masato Yoshino, and Shingo/YAMATO. Good match.

Impact was better this week, but still far from a great show. Good show, but still a lot of oldness.

Ric Flair is beyond a fucking joke.
The Nasty Boys still suck horrendous ass.
Ken Anderson still sucks.
Nash and Hall beyond obnoxious and a waste of five minutes of my life.

Jeff Hardy though, perfect fucking fit for TNA. It'll be interesting to see how long the Creatures of the Night thing will last, considering since, you know, that was what the Undertaker called his fans for years. Hopefully that's not trademarked.

As a former huge Kennedy hater, I no longer understand why people dislike him.

Kennedy/Anderson > Sheamus/McIntyre/Half of these new babyfaced children Vince keeps calling up too early.

No Way. Sheamus is about 1000 times more interesting then Kenderson could ever hope to be.

How do you figure? He's certainly not as good on the mic or in the ring as Kennedy/Anderson is. Sheamus has proven absolutely nothing, atleast Kennedy has had some good matches and feuds.

I've seen more from Sheamus in the ring then I have Kennedy. Sheamus' Promo on Raw last night was better then anything I have ever seen from Kenderson. Simple and to the point, not trying to be the Rock Lite.

Well then you're simply not looking at this from an objective standpoint. Sheamus' promo last night was fine, but nothing special. The only matches Sheamus has been in worth a fuck were both gimmick matches that were short, one of which he was barely even involved in. Shit Kennedy's match with Angle last month was better than any match I've seen Sheamus in.

Kennedy is far, far superior to Sheamus at this point in time.

Agree to disagree. I've never bought into the hype machine that was Ken Anderson. I don't see what's so special about him

You should be more surprised that I actually like someone that was hand picked by Triple H.
