"I don't get Christian"- Spam Zone Version

Oh yes he will need to overpower them of course, its not like any of this is scripted or anything.

Oh, so while you're watching RAW, the wrestlers just merrily tell you that it's fake and it's all bullshit?

It's scripted, but the show is sold as if it's an actual athletic competition. A good wrestler, or fuck, ANY wrestler for that matter, should do his best to convince you that it is. Christian fails at the most fundamental aspect of his job.

Says the guy who can't wrap his head around CM Punk vs. Brock Lesnar.

I can't. And after what Brock so stoically said on SD, I can't even more.

Alright keep up the bitching. The live crowd and most smarks are pretty happy that he comes down that aisle and pisses you off week in week out.

The smarks, yes, but the live crowd really don't care all that much. He gets the same reaction as Kofi or the Miz. Generic babyface reaction. To call it a pop would be an overstatement.

I like wrestlers who can actually wrestle. Christian can actually wrestle. In fact Christian can not only wrestle but make whoever he is facing come out of the match better than when they went in. He is in the same category as Bryan in that respect and not many others join them.

He doesn't show as much personality nowadays as he used to though. If somehow we could mold Christian's persona from 2004 with his run of matches from 2011, the result would be of such awesomeness that the world would implode. Like splitting a fucking atom!

Didn't I say this in the non-spam shit? Coz this would be amazing.

But if we just give him a fucking feud where he talks, wouldn't that suffice? A feud where he doesn't have to be portrayed as a 'veteran' and just goes out there and tears it like 04.

The main thing wrong with Christian right now is that he uses that God-awful spear. It was ******ed when Edge used it, and it's even more ******ed now that Christian uses it.

But Christian's an awesome talent overall. His feud with Orton over the World Title was spectacular. WWE just doesn't give the guy enough mic time to make him interesting.

That's the issue with most babyfaces. They never get mic time. Remember Christians ECW title reign? That was awesome because he got a ton of mic time and had great matches all the time with young and old guys where there was always a legitimate belief he could lose the belt(Hell i was 100% sure Yoshi Tatsu was gonna beat him for the belt). Really the best example of how a face title run should go.

True, the Killswitch is an illogical way to defeat an opponent. He should have a more realistic and logical way to defeat his opponent. Like the Five Knuckle Shuffle, Tombstone Piledriver, or Pedigree.

I can suspend my disbelief enough for those because they're for the most part quick, but not when the finisher takes about 10 seconds to perform.

His hands are too big and scary looking.

He would be more over than Daniel Bryan if he changed his finisher to 'The Salad Fingers Face Slap of Doom'

On a serious note he was a lot better in TNA without this weak 'one more match' bollocks. But his hands are still far too big and long.

He doesn't seem like a complete moronic meathead or douche bag. I think I would enjoy drinking beers with guy and then I'd feel comfortable letting him watch my kids for a night.

Isn't that exactly what everyone looks for for in a wrestler?

I can see his point but don't go along with all of it.

Christian's spear is far better than Edge's. Well, Edge's was barely a spear, it was more of a diving hug if we're honest.

I just remembered the story about Christian being on the other end of the phone call Austin made that kicked off the "What?!?!" phenomenon. So yea, fuck that guy.

Another topic where I'm confused how certain people watch professional wrestling for more than five minutes without putting a shoe through their television when the "believability" is disrupted. The People's Elbow must give you a nose bleed.

Wow, that's the best promo I think I've ever seen Brock do! Loved it.

Christian should change his theme back to one of his infinitely better ones. The Waterproof Blonde one will do nicely, or the one that goes "Christian! Christian!"

Agreed. He was still using the same theme even as a heel with Randy and it just didn't fit.

Now TNA was for sure Christian's prime he was putting on great matches left right and center. His one where he won the title from Jarrett, one of my favourite matches ever.

I really think they missed a trick with not having Christian feud with Edge before he retired. They had opportunities to do it. It would've been brilliant TV and taken Christian to the next level in WWE. They do it in one of the story modes for Christian in one of the WWE games, and you can just see the potential there!

I know, I watch wrestling BECAUSE it isn't believable. Imagine what it would be like otherwise. Watching the main event of any PPV would just be Brock Lesnar beating somebody else in two minutes. The lack of believability is where you get your moneys worth and where the entertainment value comes from for me.

Wrestling is a pantomime, and I would never go to a pantomime and then complain that I didn't think widow twanky was really a woman. Comes with the territory. We all know it's scripted, why dress it up? Why not play into the fact you can draw a match out for half an hour?

Christian is absolutely BOOORING now. I loved his work before he left for TNA but ever since he came back, as a face he bores me to freakin tears. Nothing about him stands out. He does that lame clapping that every face does and it's annoying. He needs to be a heel, not because ALL HEELS ARE AWESOME, but because at least as a heel he was that whiny douche that stood out because of it.

Also what I don't get is how he's being booked to go over so much younger talent when before he got injured he was being treated like a loser. It's inconsistent and at this stage he isn't main event material and he needs to just put people over.

I must be missing something because I honestly don't recall anyone else doing it. Unless you count Kofi's claps which is hardly "every face".

He's always been nothing but cannon fodder as a heel. Not to mention being a face it's what got him over in the first place.

Meanwhile the guy he's challenging has a horrible win/loss record despite being a World Heavyweight Champion. Trying to find logic in his age and win/loss record is dumber than thinking he's not over.
