Again, I liked Avatar, but the reason everyone took a shot at it is because its a huge, HUGE movie. So much money was put into it, when there are so many other movies that struggle to get financing.

Congratualtions to The Hurt Locker. I remember seeing the reviews back in June and going, "This is gonna be one of those movies that gets universal praise, but gets forgotten because it came out too early in the year.

Honestly, this is an even bigger underdog win than Slumdog Millionaire last year.

Absolutely. On the rare occasion that I dislike a Tom Hanks movie, I just think about Philadelphia, and I immediately forgive him.
