Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

Last year that was common for Davis. I couldn't give him away most of last year. This year...sorry homey.

Yeah. Looking at his stats only twice this season has he got less than three.

I wish my brother was stupid and I could make a fake Vernon Davis twitter account (ala The League) and convince him Davis is out. Shame.

I did the math in my head...

I need a pick six... then right on cue. BOOM.

Then an INT... at the end of the game. If I had a sack, I would have had a .04 victory.

But I think you've won pending stat corrections.

Good season.

Way to go coach!

Seriously though, I won't be able to enjoy this victory until Wednesday or so, when stat corrections are probably over.

Either way, I made a good run in this thing.

Yeah, I'm pretty proud of myself since I drafted last with this team, and we overcame quite a few obstacles.

I just realized all three of my top picks underperformed for the season. Ray Rice had a quiet year, Aaron Rodgers was great until he got hurt, and Randal Cobb also go hurt, though much earlier.

The free agents were very kind to me.

I'm looking at the game recap for Justin and I last week, and it just proves how much of fantasy football is luck. Justin outscored me every week of the season except for four weeks... and we happened to be playing on three of those four.

Crazy. Stupid. Luck.

Oh yeah. Looking back at the two teams that made the championship in my league (my brother and myself). In the playoffs he faced our friend, who has never defeated in the two years he has been in our league and he wins. Then in the finals I beat my brother who blew me out by 50+ the two previous times we played and I managed to get a Christmas miracle with Vernon Davis' 0 points to win.

The life of a fantasy football player.

I drafted Alfred Morris and he was consistent, but underwhelming. Drew Brees was great at home, but let me down when he was on the road. Demarco Murray saved my ass from this being a blowout and has been great all year.

But I dealt with only having Gronk for six weeks, having Nick Foles in place of Drew Brees, only for him to have his 11/29 for 80 yard game against Dallas, and Gio Bernard burning me by either not getting carries or TD's when I need him to, or getting them when I bench him.

Fantasy Football's fantastic.

Also, I won by one point in Fantasy Basketball.

I am still more annoyed by this than I should be.

I put together one of the best fantasy football roster ever, & I'm stuck with 3rd place despite average 157.85 pts/wk:disappointed:

I'm coming back next year, & I got two goals win that championship & beat JGlass!!

I had the last pick in two of my leagues this year, the WrestleZone League and my league with my friends from Boston. In my Boston league, I came in dead last. In WrestleZone, I won the championship.

Crazy world.

Next year I better not have to pick last. If we can get the same 10 guys what I'd like to do is flip the draft order, but we'll probably have a few replacements, so I'll probably just do it from scratch again.

So what your saying is that the league in which you were the commissioner you won the championship despite having the last pick? I SMELL AN CONSPIRACY!!

I'd rather you just do a random draft order again...

Tight ends and quarterbacks. That was my team's foundation, and it wound up working out somehow.

That random draft order is a crock of shit. I got the last pick in both the leagues I'm commissioner in. The only conspiracy here is that Yahoo gives commissioners shitty picks.

I'm commish of the hockey league, & I got the 4th pick in that draft:shrug:

Fine, they're only prejudiced against fantasy football commissioners.

Either way, getting the last pick in both of the leagues I was in charge of was kinda bologna. One is understandable... but two?! Unacceptable.

There are two movies I want to see this week, American Hustle & Wolf of Wall Street. Probably gonna see American Hustle on Thurs. & then save Wolf of Wall Street for this weekend, I was excited to see Wolf of Wall Street until I saw that it was 3 hrs. long... my excitement level dropped a little bit after that, though I have heard it's a very entertaining 3 hrs.

I think you're onto something. With all their celebrity gossip, they never cover any of the good Jewish celebrities.

Besides Woody, isnt Stewart your most popular? Or are we going with Sandler?

Let me know which one is better so I can watch that first and save the other for later. I heard great things about both, but I too am hesitant about the 3hr time on Wolf. I just watched Desolation of Smaug and dont know if I can do another lengthy theater trip this week.

A three hour Scorsese movie is infinitely shorter than a three hour LOTR movie.

American Hustle was an okay time. I really wanna see Bradley Cooper and Amy Adams fuck. But who doesn't?
