Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

Besides Woody, isnt Stewart your most popular? Or are we going with Sandler?

A three hour Scorsese movie is infinitely shorter than a three hour LOTR movie.

I'm so excited for this movie. I've been waiting for it since the Spring.

American Hustle was an okay time. I really wanna see Bradley Cooper and Amy Adams fuck. But who doesn't?

Any time I spend with Jennifer Lawrence is time and money well spent. I will be seeing this tomorrow.

Not only does Raph hate Hitler, but he is part of the WWE Universe.

So while others in my family got great gifts, I have clearly won because with a gift card I ordered this-

Which includes this bad boy:

...and still trying to see if I can order this one also....

I'm not sure which one I like more, but I'm going to go with the Hogan one. Donatello eating Krang is hilarious, but Zombie Hogan is too perfect. If you thought Hogan sold like shit, wait until you see him now!

Toxic Avenger zombie Hogan is pretty classic. They also have a badass Royal Rumble inspired zombie poster. Fn awesome.

That is pretty slick. I have never seen that before.

Well, I guess its off to see Anchorman 2. I am full of delicious food and tired as hell, but there is no Hockey on and nothing I have recorded seems interesting enough to watch. I just found out that Harrison Ford is in the flick, so I am interested to see how that works.

Ok Glassman, spill the story. What is this adventure you speak of?

So my friend and I drove into Boston to see a movie at the AMC on the Boston Commons. It's a huge theater, and we figured we'd be okay. We had planned on seeing Anchorman at 4:15 and American Hustle at 6:10. It was a flawless plan... until literally everything was sold out until like, 5:30. With no intention of waiting that long, my friend and I decided to take our business elsewhere, so we went back to my car, I took my medicine and begrudgingly paid the $8 garage fee when I was parked there for like, 20 minutes. From there we drove to Kendall Square in Cambridge, which is where MIT is.

MIT's campus does not look like it was designed by MIT. It looks like it was designed by someone who did their fair share of LSD, and then scribled lines on a piece of paper. It's the most confusing place to drive ever. There are intersections that make no fucking sense, and endless, all the buildings look the same, and the whole street system is basically a system of unevenly overlapping squares.

So we get to the area the theater is in and park in another garage, but after taking a few steps out of the garage I realize we're in the wrong place. We go back to the car and hop in, and this time Santa has mercy on me, because the security guard let me go without paying.

A few minutes later we finally get to the right place, and then we see an awesome movie where I exchange gifts with the couple behind me. I also saw a grumpy old man yell at a lady when she cut in line at the concession stand, even though she didn't really cut in line. What a scrooge.

I almost dread trying to work out a double feature like that. Something always happens.

While confusing, I am sure that they layout makes sense in some strange genius way. Either that or its a joke that child prodigies get but us normal smart people dont. I bet they are all looking down & laughing while playing with $20 million worth of equipment.

...and by medicine I assume you meant a nice bowl considering the movie choices. You end up seeing both or just Hustle? How was it?

After looking at showtimes I decided I'm seeing Wolf of Wall Street tomorrow afternoon instead of Hustle, if I want to catch a matinee of Wolf on Sat. I'd have to be at the theater at like 10:00 am, which means I'd have to leave my house by like 9:30 am which is usually when I wake up.

Filling out online job applications blows, especially when the website eats your first submission because it's bugging out.

Today is going to be a fun day.

Just wait until to get to the 'online' applications that ask you to send 100+ pages through the post across the Atlantic at your own expense and no real guarantee that they will be read...

Ok, it's Thurs. morning, I think it's safe to say if there were going to be an stat corrections made this week they would have been done by now, so I think it's safe for you to break out your "THE WZSL CHAMP IS HERE!!" Shirt

Yeah, I'm not applying to any international jobs, so I'm good for now.

Filling out job applications in general blows

Yeah, I wound up applying for 3 jobs, but only had to fill out two applications. They were all through the same site/portal/thing, so after I guess it saved my application from the first time. Unfortunately, I had already started a second application before I finished the first, so I had to fill that one out too.

I plan on calling all three of them a week from now just to make sure they saw it, and hopefully talk them into giving me an interview.

If I had the money to spare, I'd totally make that shirt and give one out each year to the winner.

But yes, I'm the best. Drafted last, finished first.

Wolf of Wall Street is excellent. I'd say it's probably right up there with Goodfellas as far as my favorite Scorses films go. Those 3 hrs. fly by, highly recommend checking it out.

I'm seeing it this weekend for sure. Maybe I'll do a double feature of that and Anchorman, but that might be a bit too much for a double feature.

Either way, Wolf of Wall Street is happening ASAP.
