I've decided to watch Rey Mysterio and Edge vs. Benoit and Angle at No Mercy 02 tonight.

Remember when Michael Cole used to wear polos? He makes Taz look well dressed. He also has the most horrific mustache I've ever seen on somene that is allegedly not a pedophile.

Finally got round to watching this during this trip (39 fuckin days, btw)

.....Not as good as its made out to be. Incredible final ten minutes, could take or leave the rest of it.

Dude, I love it. Everyone in that match just communicates so well with each other and the audience, you'd have to be blind not to see the storytelling elements in the match. And some of those spots are just ludicrous.

It also contains one of the hardest spears I've ever seen from Edge.

Also, fuck yes 39 days. Super excited for that.

Edge was actually sick with the flu during that match & spent the majority trying not to puke all over the front row. I love that match one of my favorite tag matches.

I remember Edge saying that he almost lost it by the 3rd German suplex from Benoit about halfway through the match.


Now if he had puked when Angle had him in the ankle lock at the end, it may have been one of the funniest things ever. Could you imagine having to announce : "Kurt Angle wins Tag Team Championships for his team by making Edge tap out in a pool of his own vomit."

Best part was that I got to help get pushes to the people that deserve them. I think we booked some pretty awesome storylines during my time on creative, and I think I was a big part of that.

The worst part was voting. I hated voting.

Sweet! I was losing going into today, but I'm glad to see the Mathletes have turned it around. It is still close though, and in this league you need to get big wins in order to move up the rankings. There's a big gap between you and I, and an even bigger one between you and 6th place.

The first one will inevitably be a messy affair with numerous people I have little in common with getting completely mangled as I remain largely sober.

The second will be a quiet affair with numerous people I have nothing in common with as I remain largely sober.

It is actually the presence of the word 'numerous' that turns me off as much as anything. Give me a group of 3-4 instead of 13-14 any day.

Yeah, I feel like I am making the right choice.

Seen a few good flicks this week.

Anchorman 2 was hilarious but the ending was just abrupt. I am still tying to find a theater playing the 2nd cut. I dont want to wait for the DVD. Still undecided if it was better than the first but regardless it was great. Except I had to sit through Kanye West on the screen. 45 seconds is too much time for him to take up.


Wolf of Wall Street = fn awesome. It is so damn good. One of the best movies this year hands down.


Hobbit was just as expected. Nothing new.

Wolf Of Wall Street is easily my second favorite movie I saw this year in theaters, right behind Gravity. I curious to see how Gravity will hold up on my TV, without the IMAX screen & 3D though.

Sometimes I wonder if I am missing out by not going to the cinema more often.

Then I go to the cinema and hate being there, regardless of how good the film is. That is probably why I only went twice this year - and that would be considered an above average figure.

I really can't wait to see Wolf of Wall Street. I was supposed to see it with my friends tonight, but right now it's looking like that might not happen. If I don't go tonight, I'll go by myself tomorrow and enjoy the shit out of that movie solo.

As am I. I doubt it'll be nearly as good, but it's still a good film with two great performances and plenty of action. It'll be a good movie, but not nearly as thrilling as it was in IMAX 3D.

Saw American Hustle today, it's pretty good, great performances from everyone involved, including Louis CK who I didn't even know was in the film. That said, I think I'm starting to burn out on Bradley Cooper.

I kind of get what you mean, but I think a lot of that had to do with the character he was playing. I think you were supposed to want to like him but not be able to because, while he is technically a good guy who has his problems just like everyone else, he only really shows his vulnerability when it seems like he wants something from someone, and the rest of the time he acts like a douchebag fratboy.

I thought he did a very good job in this movie. Of the four major stars I thought he had the least impressive performance, but he was still very good.

Yeah, so Wolf of Wall Street was fucking amazing. Probably my second or third favorite movie of the year, but definitely in the top tier along with Gravity and Blue Jasmine.
