Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

It's a shame you guys don't have a holiday almost exactly a month before Christmas to signify when it's okay to start selling Christmas stuff. How else do your retail chains know when to have midnight sales with a limited inventory and crazy discounts so they can watch consumers brutalize each other in the name of a great deal?

So I saw on the crawl at the top of the page the lasted Chair Shot Reality topic, "Did the WWE handle the Darren Young situation correctly?"

I'm not sure I approve of it being called a situation. I was going to comment on the video saying that (without actually watching the video, of course), but they apparently close comments before anybody has the chance to criticize them.

Generally they have the decency to wait until at least after Halloween. It would appear that they're just being sadistic this year, messing with people's psyches all willy nilly.

Edit: They had Darren Young defeat Antonio Cesaro. So no, they didn't handle the situation correctly.

Halloween is almost exactly 2 months before Christmas, & I'm pretty sure the Brits celebrate it the same time as we do.

Well I didn't know that they used Halloween as a marker at that point. That still seems ridiculously early to start on Christmas stuff.

Yezzir. Manic is from 2001. Don Cheadle is also in it.

Zooey Dechanelle was in movies in 2001?

Actually, I forgot that she was in The New Guy, my favorite movie... when I was 13.

When I worked at Shopko, like 15 yrs. ago, after Halloween they'd make us tear down that whole section & put out all the Christmas shit, what's worse is that's about when they start playing the horrible Christmas music too, which consists of about 6 songs on repeat.

*Deschanel

She started acting in '98, first movie was in '99

That sounds like a nasty combination. You should probably just drink an entire gallon of OJ.

That's what I'm working on right now, well that and work but I'm not sure I'm sticking around for too much longer. Getting my tickets closed then I'm leaving.

Does anyone actually have a decent source on the "Cranston as Luthor" rumour, or is the internet just jerking me around? I genuinely can't tell any more.

I can't believe I still care after MOS. I guess Affleck as Batman is really working for me.

Meanwhile, I've been delving into the careers of Lynch, Polanski, Kurosawa and Kieślowski - because I don't feel as if I'm nearly pretentious enough.

I wouldn't kill yourself to do it.

From what I hear it's pretty insulting to people with taste. Seems like the type of thing you might love.

I've been hearing the rumours for what feels like ages. But this degree of certainty from the Glass Man makes me think he knows something I don't.

I'll be honest with you, I saw somebody who I generally trust regarding movie and TV news post it on Facebook, and I immediately accepted it as fact and blurted it out in here. I'm not proud of what happened, but can you blame me?

I saw some Kurosawa once or twice. He's pretty good.

Of course, I've seen my fair share of Lynch and Polanski too. They're like any big name director, sometimes great, occasionally shit.

I'm not sure whom Kieślowski is though. Are you sure you're not making them up?
