Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

CHDavid and I were pretty much live tweeting the majority of the movie. Lived up to my expectations and then some. I love these awfully great SyFy movies. 2 Headed Shark Attack is on now. Too lazy to change the channel. Brooke Hogan is in it and she doesn't satisfy me nearly as much as her father does.

I was laughing so hard at the end that I was crying. I couldn't breathe either. Such a phenomenal ending.

People still root for the Dolphins? Crazy world we live in, eh?

Lulz. It feels like I'm the last of a dying breed, with the bandwagon jumping Heat fans overwhelming the vast majority of pro sports interest down here. At least the three shirts had the older Dolphins logo, and not the new hideous logo, where the Dolphin doesn't even look like a dolphin, but instead resembles some skinny futuristic whale out of a sci-fi movie.

What do you do for a living Mitch?

Old Navy for now. With their erratic style of scheduling, it's like I have a part-time and full-time job in one. Still searching for something that's more stable. Got an interview with Sports Authority last week, but the drive was too far. And with the per hour salary they were going to offer me, I would've spent most of my paychecks on gas money, so I turned it down.

I like the Dolphins, even as a Patriots fan. Their wily, not supposed to win but surprise everyone a few games a year style appeals to me.

When they first unleashed the Wild Cat on the Pats a few years ago and wrecked their shit, I marked out hard.

The new Dolphins logo is lame. I have nothing against the team, but man that logo. A couple of pro and college teams debut new logos this season.

Personally I think the Jags new logo is better, even though it looks a bit cartoonish. The Beavers new logo though, I don't care for it.

It is kind of lame looking, but it's not that bad. At least your uniforms can't get much uglier, right?

Yeah man, my last full time job was a $10/hour gig in Rhode Island, and I was commuting from Boston. It was a 6 month co-op, so by the end I would have broken even if I wasn't able to fudge a few numbers and get some extra money on the company refunding gas for company related trips.

It's kind of hard to make a beaver look cool. The Jags definitely improved, though.

Wild Cat provided some good times. Unfortunately, during those seasons we had to suffer through Chad Henne, who was almost worse than Jay Fiedler, and Tony Sparano's tenure as head coach.

I don't know about that. I cringe every time they decide to break out those horrendous orange jerseys for select home games.

Damn, that had to be tough. I don't mind hopping on the expressway, but I'm going to need more than eight something dollars an hour (forgot the exact amount in cents) for it. With that hourly wage and the distance I had to drive, I would've basically been using all my money to go back and forth to Sports Authority every week.

I remember doing a Fins dynasty in one of the older Maddens ('08 or '09) and just destroying with Pat White as my starting QB.

We've all done a Madden Dynasty where we won championships with terrible QBs. I've probably won about 20 NFL Championships with Sanchez as my QB between Madden 11 and Madden 13.

JaMarcus Russell became a star under my tutelage. Vince Young and Matt Leinart too. I'm gonna pull out my old console and play some Madden '05. That's my jam.

So Pacific Rim was pretty fucking awesome. Idris Elba stole the show for me of course.

I'll have to wait till 4:00 tomorrow to see it since my theater has no matinee showings of it because apparently they've decided to give fucking Grown Ups 2 10 fucking showings, PacRim gets 2 (5 if you count the 3 3D showings).

10 showings for Grown Ups 2? Was the first one that well received? Anyway it's worth the wait, the theater I was in had Dolby Atmos, which isn't quite IMAX (not that I really care considering the last time I even went there was TDK) but it's surround sound is awesome, which is needed for a movie such as this.

I've made Vince Young into a stud, but not Leinart or Russel. If my memory serves me correctly, the last few young QBs I've managed to turn into stars are Sanchez, Young, and Bradford.

But to be totally honest, with fantasy drafts I find getting a good QB is among the least of my worries. Generally I try to get a solid CB, a speedy WR, a good, young RB, pick up a few lineman on either side of the ball, and then try to get a young QB with a rating in the low 80s, usually favoring power over accuracy. A lot of my offense revolves around 7-10 yard passes to the TE and using the running back to keep the defense on their toes, and then when the time is right I bomb it to my top receiver. I know, it's probably the most unique offensive strategy in the history of Madden, but whatever, it works.

Anyways, if that young QB winds up turning into a big deal, then that's great, but if he doesn't pan out, I can usually shuffle around some pieces and trade for a high draft pick to get a young QB that can turn into a franchise player.

I just get a beast running back and mow them down until I get a play action opening. CBs are meaningless to me, I jump at least 4 routes a game for INTs no matter who I'm using.

I'm basically like Michael Vick as a QB. If my first read isn't wide open, I just run for as much as I can.

I like an accurate QB with some mobility. I like to run quick slants and comebacks. I like to use roll outs when I can because it tires out the defensive line quicker, softening them up for a bruising back.

Cam Newton is my new go to QB in Madden whenever I play. Love running and gunning with that man. Doesn't hurt that the guy is probably my favorite QB in the game today. I got a major mancrush on Mr. Newton.

I'm a homer, I always use Rodgers, I also like stealing ADP away from the Vikes & putting him the team that deserves him, my Pack.
