He hasn't. He is still yet to sleep so he has not been confronted with the choice. I would imagine that Grune will opt to annihilate the Brotherhood as he had enough ethical concerns when it came to stealing things for the Guild.

There is something satisfying about knocking Astrid off of her high horse.

Why do you say that? What is wrong with not wanting to play a game into the ground so I can come back to it at a later date rather than completing it within days and trading it in?

I said that there ISN'T anything wrong with that. There's a million different ways to play Skyrim, and none of them are better or worse than the other.

In such situations, I use the "send dremora in to distract foes and then take out those who attack him with arrows" stratagem.

Bronn didn't summon people, he just smashed.

how do you get lycanthropy? im all about that.I would be into the vampire thing too, if it ddidnt sound like it would be such a hindrance

This will actually work out perfectly for you. Go to that Shrine of Talos statue near the raving preacher in Whiterun, and after you pray to it to cure your Vampirism, go up to the big long house on the hill behind it call Jorvaskr.

Soooooo uhhhhh......im at the part were we brought back the piece of dagger and all that, and they said I was all honorable and badass....and now its just sitting there with everyone staring at me. Am I supposed to do something?

I cant move, for the record. Lke how it freezes you during cinematic moments. Everything is still working, and music playing, btw.

Aye, that it did. Odd bc everything was stil going like it was fine. Usually when a crash happens everything freezes up. I was abe to go out and re load from my last checkpoint and everything.

Yeah, it is the cause and the solution to many a Skyrim freeze.

Finished my complete run through of Captain Scarlet - it is really is great, with a tremendous story and some moments too dark for kids - and have moved on to Joe 90, which is easily my least favourite of the Anderson quartet I own on DVD - Stingray, Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and Joe 90 - but as with Anderson's other works, the initial 3-4 episodes are top notch and it still has the tremendous effects of Derek Meddings and his team.

Skyrim's autosave is simultaneously the greatest and worst thing.

The only thing I can think of that is bad about it is that sometimes you become too reliant on it, but even that isn't such a bad thing.

I have no idea what you're talking about, but I think it's English television.

That spot I'm stuck at, I accidentally beat it once. No idea how I did it, but I did. The problem was, my follower died. I considered starting over, but, instead, said fuck it and kept going and almost immediately died against the boss. I ended up getting my follower back, but had to start over, where I still am today.

EDIT: Moral of the story is that the autosave is so inconsistent, I don't save when I should and it does save when I don't want it to.

Surely you've heard of Thunderbirds?

Only because I've heard you talk about them. If not for that, I'd assume you meant Thundercats.

Eh, Lydia is expendable. There are better followers out there.

Not really surprised that its legend has dimmed.

It is extremely dated - it is a puppet show from the 1960s for god's sake - but the stories involved and the effects are still pretty damn good. Meddings, who went on to work extensively on James Bond on the back of his resume compiled while working on the likes of Thunderbirds, was a master of making tiny models seem larger than life; all of which was accompanied by a ridiculously good soundtrack from Barry Gray and his orchestra.

The pilot episode "Trapped in the Sky" is still one of my favourite episodes of television and the intro to the show is still one of the best ever, with that to Captain Scarlet not being far behind...

One of Britain's finest exports.

Indeed.

It's more boring now than I remember it being when I was little.

Blasphemy!

In all honesty though, while Thunderbirds remains my favourite, in terms of story-telling, Captain Scarlet is superior, where the bad guys actually succeed on occasion and on occasion, Thunderbirds episodes could have a decent amount of filler involved in them.

The actual series probably holds up better than the movie. I used to catch the odd episode on my local PBS affiliate growing up. On a nostalgic kick about 8 months to a year ago I watched Thunderbirds Are Go. It was Star Trek: The Motion Picture slow. I hadn't seen it before, but it did not do my memories any favors. Not a bad movie, just slow as Christmas.

So I'm being kinda corhorced into getting a concealed Weapins Liscense from my folks...

This weekend I'm taking this security course to get a certification to work security. However, my parents are telling me the only way they'll help foot the bill for the training is if I get the "G Liscense" which is basically a CCW.

I don't know exactly how I feel about the idea of owning a gun, but my parents seemed fucking thrilled about it.

Well, according to this, all you need is the license to carry the weapon. You never said anything about having the weapon itself.

Just get the license and then they foot the bill for the training. Sounds like a win-win.

I do want to get my concealed weapons permit, but only the lesser one here. I don't own a gun nor do I ever have the want to own one, however I do typically carry a switchblade with me and I'd rather have the permit just to be safe.

The problem with playing a game the first day it's released is that if you get stuck at some point or just want some advice, there's really none to be found. State of Decay is a lot of fun, but I'm still trying to figure out what the fuck I'm supposed to be doing here.

My laptop's been repaired... again. You ********s better have some thought-provoking posts ready to test out the keyboard's typability.
