We went to a PWS show where we saw the likes of Vader, New Jack, John Morrison, Jushin Liger, Sonjay Dutt, Trent Barretta, and Rock and Roll Express wrestle. We also got a little more involved in the main event than we would have liked to, that match being New Jack's supposed last match.

So IC got to meet then see Vader wrestle live... Damn, he must've been the happy boy on Earth last night.
That is the third most fantastic thing I've seen today (one was a vagina).
It reminded me of the Wresltezone Tournament and the pro Stu Hart arguments. Oh so many memories.

How many times will it take me to realise to that being nice gets me nowhere? People do not remember the good deeds you have done, especially when alcohol is involved.

It was actually a lot of fun, but mostly because of how ridiculous everything surrounding it was. They didn't waste any time bloodying each other up, and Necro got the worst of it when New Jack kept stabbing him in the head with a fork. Necro eventually got New Jack's staple gun and put a few staples in his head, but New Jack pulled them out and put them in his mouth.
When both men were bloody to a satisfying level, they decided to take it out of the ring and New Jack threw Necro into the guardrail directly in front of myself and NorCal's friend Pat, and that's when NJX split up. IC25 disappeared in an instant, D-Man and JGoose made off like a couple of Scooby Doo characters (possibly because Pat said, "RUN AWAY!", I took a few steps back but was generally too shocked to move, and Pat and NorCal got in there and got Necro Butcher blood on them as a result. It was around this time NorCal picked up a chair to fight them. I picked up a chair too, not because I was ready to fight them, but because it had blood all over it and I didn't want it near me so I dumped it over the guardrail. At one point NorCal patted Necro on the back and gave him a few words of encouragement.
Eventually they went all the way into the fans and took out a bunch of chairs and got blood everywhere. They're probably spending a few thousand dollars sanitizing that place today. It was on an indoor soccer field, so I look forward to some kid making a slide tackle and getting dried blood flakes all over his leg.
The match ended when New Jack hit Necro Butcher with a 187, but the chair had light tubes attached to the bottom of it. After the match was over New Jack cut a promo, told a few funny stories, and then he rapped. Yes, he rapped, and not his theme song either, but some song that he either wrote or inspired. It was hilarious, and he seemed like a pretty cool dude. Well, besides the fact that he's bat shit crazy.
Yeah, there were a lot of happy NJXers last night. IC got to meet Vader, NorCal got to meet Bret Hart, D-Man got to meet Rock 'n' Roll Express and they all discussed what it was like to be 50, and JGoose took an awesome picture with The Hurricane.
I didn't take any pictures, but I did get one autograph... it was Theo's. He signed my Coke bottle. It got abandoned during the New Jack/Necro Butcher Match.

Nope. I didn't want to spend $70 on a ticket, so I passed up on going and went to a Devils game with my dad instead. They lost 2-1 in a very disappointing game, but I still regret nothing.

I had two bagels yesterday, so it wasn't all that bad. Most days I have zero.
Yes, but if you had a New Jersey bagel somewhere in there it would be even better! The rest of that stuff is already pretty great, though.
Being that I have no camera you probably won't catch many pictures of Mania coming from me, but I'm sure some of the other gentlemen I'm with will take plenty.
That PWS show was one of the most absurd things I've ever seen. We can't wait to buy that show on DVD and see how many times we pop up on it. We were in the front row and quite chatty, so we should be there pretty often.
The sexual tension was palpable. Vader licked his lips rather seductively and IC gave him a wink, but they left it at that. IC is a married man, and a homosexual affair is a chapter that he probably won't be including in his memoirs.

In other news, I saw Evil Dead. It was great & if that is what they left in- I cant wait to see all the gory shit they had to take out. It was much more horror than comedy, but they left a few 'easter eggs' for fans to enjoy.
