Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

The good thing about Bravo is that for some unfathomable reason, that network is fairly popular. It probably won't be something you'll love, but you can't really beat having a popular network on your resume.

It is the "most recognizable brand for gay consumers." Basically, it's the gayest network on TV.

It would be okay to have on my resume, but I also don't want to associate myself with terrible reality TV shows.

I like your tagline better.

I understand what you're saying though. I just think that would be better then working for something on a local public access channel or something like that.

You're probably right, and that's why I did apply. And who knows, maybe I'll get to work on Inside the Actors Studio or Top Chef. I just dread the fact of having to work a Real Housewives type of show.

I don't blame you at all for that. I ended up never applying to my university's newspaper for a similar reason. It was such a piece of shit that I didn't want to be in any way associated with it.

Good old Pope, always making sure Germanic tribes aren't fucking each other up.

Can't you use one of your settlements as fodder so that while your enemy's main army moves on that you can attack them at one of their bigger cities?

I have considered such a gambit but I am not flush enough with territory to risk giving any of it away due to a lack of resources. Also with the shape of the provinces around me, all the big cities are too far away and will therefore be difficult to defend.

However, I do have one trick up my sleeve. There is a about to be a papal election and if I give my vote to the eventual winner he may be willing to follow my advice and call a crusade against the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius.

Not only would that potentially force peace between myself and the Danes or Poles if they should join the crusade, it could also give me a buffer state centred on Vilnius between me and the Russians.

Still interested in the four way RP?

We might not be in a four man team but I still think it can be worked out in the pairings of Saboteur/Barbosa and SHIT/Saxton, with the added dimension of each team being about tl ask the others for pointers regarding their opponents.

Hm, I was actually thinking of going with a simple, serious promo against Bowen this round that draws on their history, but I don't see any reason I can't work all of that in as well as the ideas from the four-man RP. So yeah, as long as it's explained to me in detail what I should do to get it working, I'll definitely be down. Should be fun.

I would say that it is more two two-man story RPs that are linked by their participants rather than one single four-chapter story.

Essentially, we treat it like BarboSaboteur and Action SHIT are the tag teams rather than SaboSax and BarboSHIT, except we highlight the connection between the four RPs with why they are actually working together ie. Depressive's want to expose SHIT to different types of personality - the idiot focus groupers and the flamboyant Saxton, while keeping Manic and Smoker entertained by having fun/trying to kill Saboteur and SHIT's continued want to discover more about being human.

What SaboSax's motives for the crossover are beyond the earlier suggestions of a quest for SHITs "upgrade chip" (perhaps Barbosa and Saboteur get as far as reaching the lab where SHIT was created?) and Saxton wanting input for his movies, which ends in a SHIT (pink box) makeover.

To be honest, the trickiness comes in when it comes to the focus of the RPs as the story of mine will link to that of Saboteur but the character development needs to come more with SHIT in mind. Miko would have a similar burden - dealing with Saxton but focusing on Barbosa and the Bearded Gents.

Perhaps we could all have an internal monologue section of our RPs to explain not just the motives of our characters but also to help link them together, with Saboteur wondering what Saxton is doing, Barbosa arguing with himself over their plan for SHIT, Saxton wondering what he did to get lumbered with such a un-hip robot cat while SHIT, as the only true straight man in this world of madness, is just wondering what the hell is going on full stop.

Such monologues should also help focus the RPs on their opponents.

EDIT: I put the image in spoiler tags since it's a little big, but it's hilarious.

I'm a few weeks behind. Soon.

For reals though, my GA returned in my last "paper" (read: rant) with a good grade, lots of "lol that's great" and a consolatory letter. So I'm really banking on the accuracy of my impression of him being a "you'd be surprised what you can get away with" guy.

*Edit* Justified spoilers in spoiler tags, you two! Or so help me Jeebus!

I am game if Doc and J are.

This all sounds good to me. I have a few ideas for why Saboteur and Saxton would want to spend time with Barbosa and S.H.I.T. respectively and how that relates to their match.

Couldn't feel more like that guy if I tried. Of course I wouldn't try. Because I'm that guy.

Yeah, I feel that. I wrote a rough draft of a research paper in one day and probably won't touch that again until a week from its due date.

GA? Either way, having those "look what I can get away with!" professors are nice to have. I wrote a paper during my freshman year about why I was a better writer than anyone we read."

Off on a total tangent, but I knew I'd find him here. Coco, I neglected to vote for Randy Orton and, well, look what happened. Punk over Michaels and Orton over Hart? It would have been history - in the loosest sense of the word. Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?

I wonder if the wrestlers are going to adjust their ring attire for the colder temperatures they'll be wrestling in, or if it'll effect the length of some of the matches at WM. According to the forecast it's suppose to be in the mid to upper 40's once the sun goes down.

I hope it doesn't effect the matches negatively. Those guys sweat so much and work so hard that it's hard to imagine them getting cold, but it will be chilly out there.

That's true, I'm be more concerned about guys in the tag matches like Sheamus & Orton who just wear trunks & could be stuck on the apron for a good chunk of time. I'm sure I'm over thinking this & they'll be fine though.
