Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

Off on a total tangent, but I knew I'd find him here. Coco, I neglected to vote for Randy Orton and, well, look what happened. Punk over Michaels and Orton over Hart? It would have been history - in the loosest sense of the word. Can you find it in your heart to forgive me?

Somehow I missed that match & didn't get my vote in, which is a shame cause I would've voted Orton, giving him the win.

I've finally started to watch Freaks and Geeks, and I can already tell I'm going to be super bummed out when there's not a second season.

Now I'm more hesitant than ever to watch Firefly.

Don't be sad that it's over; be glad that it happened.

Never heard deeper wisdom from Dr. Seuss, the coldest motherfucker who ever lived.

I thought you'd like it.

How thoughtful.

Concerning 'Mania: I don't think it's too far-fetched to think that HBK will cost HHH his match and it'll lead to a retirement match for both at WM 30 (even though HBK has already had his). His involvement is just kinda pointless, even though Lesnar attacked him, so I keep thinking he's there for some reason other than just to be in HHH's corner. Too ridiculous?

I'd say so. I don't see HBK getting involved here, especially because fans just seem to like to see the guy. I doubt he does anything except cheer Triple H on, and at the very most he MIGHT deliver a Sweet Chin Music to Heyman.

That's obviously the most likely scenario and I totally agree with that, but I just can't shake the feeling that WWE is going to try to stir something up.

On other note, I hope Cesaro gets a match. He deserves it.

I feel the same way for him as I did for Mark Henry a year or two ago, although Henry might've been hurt. They were awesome for most of the year, then got forgotten/ignored/lost when it came time for WrestleMania.

It's because the 'E is lazy. Cesaro could have been in the World Heavyweight Championship scene by now if WWE followed through in his push. Instead, he's on Saturday Morning Slam (who even watches that show) losing to R-Truth.

Speaking of SMS, this is the only bit of it I've ever seen. Daniel Bryan is awesome:

I think Henry was hurt, but he got a pretty high profile match this year. I'm excited for that one, even though rumor has it that they were pretty dull at house shows. Hopefully that inspires them to knock it up a notch.

As for Cesaro... eh. He's very good, no doubt about it, but I'm not going to feel like I missed out on something because he was left off the card.

I just re-watched MITB 2011 and his match with Big Show. If they can pull off something like that or even like the matches with Sheamus, it should be fine. Keep it around 10 minutes and let them throw each other around before everyone gets bored.

Woah, Hunger Games is on Netflix instant, I've heard it's actually pretty decent.

Also that Bully doc, that raised all sorts of controversy earlier this year is on there, as is a shitload of great Cartoon Network/Adult Swim stuff.

I'm mostly excited to give Primer a watch.

I have not heard of this movie, though I did just read the description, watched the trailer & read a few of the reviews, it sounds like a confusing film about time travel that forces you to think, perhaps I'll give it a watch Mon. or Tues. since I have those days off.

Not only is it that, but it was made with a blockbuster budget of $7,000 and still managed to win the grand jury prize at Sundance. Kevin Smith, eat your heart out!

That's the budget Robert Rodriguez had for El Mariachi, another movie I have never seen, despite seeing to the sequels to it.

I love when I see people make good movies for next to nothing while everybody praises someone like James Cameron, who can't make a movie without a $300 Million budget.

The budget for Terminator was only $6.5 million. That's really cheap considering Aliens was only made two years later for $18.5 million. Yes, since then he's been given massive budgets, but considering how much money he's made, can you blame the studios for giving him so much?

I will never understand the appeal of Get Him To The Greek, it may be one of the shittiest comedies I have ever seen, yet everybody seems to praise it as if it's the funniest thing ever made.

In 9 hours I will be on a bus to New Jersey. Normally that would be mediocre news at best, but this weekend is going to be WrestleMania Party Weekend Super Time Number 1!

I thought it was pretty funny. Not great, but good.
