Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

I agree, even though Stewart was just perfect physically for the role. I'm still a big fan of McAvoy and Michael Fassbender as the new Xavier and Magneto.

Ultimately I just want Michael Biehn as Cable.

Smarky in that the majority of his fanbase likes him because they are "too smart" for comics, IE he breaks the fourth wall and takes the piss out of everything all the time.

I like when he breaks the 4th wall, not because I think I'm "too smart" for comics, but because it amuses me.

Ever seen the animated film Hulk Vs. (its two seperate ones....Vs Thor, and Wolverine)...Deadpool is awesome in the Vs Wolverine story

I have not. Are they worth watching?

Just read muthafuckin Tyrian will be in days of future past. fuckin'a

Awesome! If the rumor of him being the voice of Nimrod is true, that should be pretty bad ass. He has a fantastic voice.

And yet we aren't maladjusted at all...

Nope. Most people write stories about a multiple-personality disordered wrestler at a wedding with his non-robotic robot companion or a spandex clad failed mercenary, kidnapped roommate, blaxploitation friend, and an alien breaking into a vault to steal money to buy a video game strategy guide.

I'm fucking pumped for Days of Future Past. That cast is going to be killer. It's a super ambitious project though. If Singer can nail it, I'll sing his praises.

They're bringing Singer back for that one. Interesting... I don't know how I feel about that.

I don't think you'll see Cable in this movie. They have cast a black guy named Omar Sy, which I feel is going to be Bishop, which I'm fine with. Dinklage is the only one that's a real headscatcher. He could be playing Bantam, or Fitzroy, or a combination of both. Plus there is the Sentinel rumor as well with him voicing the sentinels, Nimrod, or Master Mold.

Bishop wasn't in the original Days of Future Past storyline, but he was in the animated series' version, so he could definitely be worked in. I just wonder what his role will be and how much time traveling will be involved.

Also Singer danced around a big question that Apocalypse will show up in this movie at some point. I don't care, the fact that we have Sentinels, maybe Nimrod, maybe Master Mold, maybe Fitzroy, and Maybe Apocalypse? I'm so fucking sold already, and I hope they attach a teaser to the Wolverine movie.

The only bit of Apocalypse I'd want to see is a teaser clip at the end for the next movie. He deserves his own film.

Also Fox wants to do spinoffs of all of the X-Team books. X-Force with Cable and Deadpool, etc. They just have to right the ship. X-Men should be in it's own universe away from the other Marvel characters, so I really hope Fox pulls this off.

I agree, though it's hard to imagine X-Force without Wolverine. An X-Factor movie would be awesome too. Crime shows are pretty much the most successful thing on TV, so superhero crime solvers seems like it would make a crap ton of money.

Apocalypse is my favourite X-men villain so seeing him and then perhaps, by extension, Cable would be a great teaser ending.

I would love a movie with some of the X-Men and Cable taking on Stryfe, and when they defeat Stryfe they reawake Apocalypse.

I'm sure I posted in here, scolding you for burying Rey Mysterio criticism in a sea of... something. Did I not do that?

  1. Daredevil
  2. Thor
  3. Kid Omega

Kid Omega is an interesting choice.

You missed out adultery-provoking karaoke, suspected sexual deviance,
kidney punching a dance floor ****e, and a wedding cake gore.

Also Barbosa and Action Saxton were almost certainly drinking the same alcoholic beverage, both of which were stolen.

.

See I grew up with the 90's version of X-Force, and I think they don't need Wolverine. Give me a rebel group of mutants with Cable as the leader and Deadpool cracking wise, and I'm set. Ultimately if they are successful, you get an X-Factor, maybe two teams of X-men, even Excalibur, than you can really start going crazy with the X-Universe.

I would love Cable and Stryfe, but you're talking about something that is going to confuse the absolute shit out of the average movie goer. I've been re-reading the X-Men and just got done with Inferno a few months back. I loved the story, but no way are people going to get it. I'm about up to X-Cutioner's Song (probably my favorite X-Over). It'll be interesting to see how well that has aged.

And all you need with Deadpool. Give me this Deadpool in a movie.

And for you Cable and Deadpool fans.

Give me Cable as a playable character now!

I'm not completely up to snuff on my X-Force history, so it's hard for me to fathom them being anything but the X-Men's black-ops team. I think that would be the way to go for simplicity's sake as well.

Yeah, I suppose the clone stuff does make for a confusing story.

Absolutely agreed. They need to keep it simple with Deadpool. That's generally a good idea for most superhero movies, I find.

And for you Cable and Deadpool fans.

Give me Cable as a playable character now!

I'm not optimistic that this game is going to be good, but I'll probably wind up playing it regardless, ESPECIALLY if Cable is a playable character.

Have you played Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2, Shocky? You can get Cable at a downloadable character.

Just bought tickets to the PWS Indy show on the 4th and 5th. First time attending an Indy show. Pretty excited.

We gonna be there too! Awwww yeahhhhhh!

I had sex last night.

That's about the only interesting thing I have to add.

Well I could talk about the Deadpool game, but I have already let my feelings on that be known.

Still debating rather or not to buy Mania or not. My heart says yes, and so does my wallet. But my brain has the final say when I see the complete card.

My brother ordered WM 29. I owe him $10 so we could upgrade to HD. I really don't care. I'll buy him two drinks and have it covered.

Some sexy RP's this round indeed. Well, our four are, I haven't got round to the rest yet, lord knows how creative do it.

I just watched Rey Mysterio vs. Jericho from Extreme Rules 2009 again. I remember it being a fantastic match, but I forgot the finish. I was shocked when that happened, I think I lost my shit when he pulled Rey's mask off.
