Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

One time Pancake and I met this guy on XBL who sounded just like Johnny Ace, so we spent like 90 minutes impersonating his voice while playing Battlefield.

Apparently this is what I have been missing by not watching TNA.

That made this shitty AJ Styles angle they're running 10x better.

When was the last time AJ got an angle that wasn't shit? Tis a shame, the guy has far too much talent for him to be wasted like this.

I seem to be stuck in Tomb Raider, & getting frustrated, now be good time to take a break & watch some Wild/Kings action... also I'm hungry.

Weeeeeeeeellllllllllll..... it's the Big Show: The College Years.

I knew a kid who played high school ball -- he was nearly 7 feet tall, but had no fundamental game at all. He got at least 6 points a game just touching the ball around the rim because he was so tall.

I went to middle school with a kid who had the same story, but I don't think he was 7'0", nor do I think he ever reached that height, but he was definitely over 6' in middle school, and I wouldn't be surprised if he got as tall as 6'10" or so.

Like your dude he was relatively unskilled, but then he got recruited to a prep school and they really honed his game and he wound up being pretty good. I don't think he ever played D1 college ball, but I think he was D2.

Like Frank Layden said, you can't teach height -- so I'm sure coaches salivate over really tall guys. They can get a lot of production out of big men as long as they can shine up some of the basic elements of their game (rebounding, post offense/defense) and maybe teach them a go-to move (I'm not talking the dream shake or anything, but a solid hook/turnaround). That's speaking strictly on the lower levels of the game, nothing like D-1 college or pro ball.

I'm doing movie trivia tonight. If only it was also super hero and professional wrestling trivia, then my team would be unstoppable!

Woke up with a bad case of heartburn, what a wonderful way to start the day.

About once a month or so I get heartburn pretty badly for about a week, but then it goes away. Many tums are consumed in that week, even though I hate the flavor of tums.

Afraid I have nothing interesting to say right now, just wanted to pop in and say hello.

Hello, JGlass.

Hello, JGlass.

Hey buddy! Is it just me, or was there a distinct lack of Saxton and Saboteur on yesterday's Meltdown?

Sunday dinner took a rather strange turn today when my great aunt asked me if I knew any Hebrew...

She was very interested to hear that I had only ever studied the meaning of two words.

I can read Hebrew, so long as the vowels are included, with little problem. Ask me what it means, however, and you'll be met with a swift shrug and an invitation to go fuck yourself.

My discoveries over the last couple of days. Cheerleading is exhausting, which I already knew, but god that routine's tiring. Cheerleading competitions are fun as hell, and also exhausting. 22 is not too old to dick around in a children's play area.

Sounds quite similar to me with Greek. I can pronounce most of it but would only have a vague idea of what it meant.

As for Hebrew, I would not have a notion about the actual alphabet. For my research - the difference between the Hebrew for "kill" and "murder" - I needed it transliterated into English. Don't even remember what they were - lo retzach might have been one of them.

Yeah! The show suffered from a severe lack of action, manliness, and hijinx. Very disappointing in comparison to the previous cycle, which featured secret kung-fu techniques. I think I'll sue.

Meltdown did feature about the right amount of Drake pinning the world champion, however. One on one. In the middle of the ring.

You saw it. You all saw it!

Just to make up for that, Ascension is going to go mental with that Action Saxton-packed, Sabotaged, completely S.H.I.T. main event.

Words I know the meaning of in Hebrew.

Shalom- Hello, goodbye, or peace.
Kattan- Small
Gadol- Large
Adony- God

I was happy to see Krypto win, though. Drake upsetting Showtime was also pretty cool.

What type of play area are we talking here? Jungle gym? Wood, plastic, or metal? Was there a theme like castle or some shit? Details sucka, details!

Seems like Drake just needed a kick in the ass that losing to Califa provided for him.

Essentially a McDonalds play area, but in a bar/restaurant. Also there was a small closed off tunnel that had a propeller on the outside that you could spin from the inside. Simple things please simple minds, after all.

I was similarly pleased to see Krypto pick up the win. Was just saying that I think he's starting to come into his own, and with more focus and time he could be a lot of fun.

Funny that we're talking this way about an alien. Just goes to show what some creativity can do.
