Glass Ass: The OFFICIAL JGlass Thread

Too much Jaeg, tried not to vomit, I prayed to the porcelain goddess. My feet against the wall was an attempt to make me think I had sobriety by having my balance firm against something. What I meant by keeping my drunken head correct was me trying to not get the spins. It failed miserably.

I need sleep. 7 am comes early.

Ah, I've been there. One time I got wasted off of like, two glasses of Long Islands and wound up doing something similar. I never puked, but I didn't exactly sober up either.

A great mix of clever and absurd humour, complete with over the top put downs and expansive similes.

Oh, and the end of the last episode is some of the best television ever committed to film.

I hope you didn't just start someone off with Blackadder with the very last scene.

Ah yes. You have a point.

JGlass, forget about the last episode and start at the beginning of series 2.

Series one is unnecessary.

In fact, series one is not recommended.

Which season had Flashheart? Was that 3?

Steals Bob/Kate in Season 2 and is a fighter pilot in Season 4

Ah Bob. Such a simple name but one that Atkinson made sound hilarious.

Disabilities can be funny.

Gah! The British are coming! The British are coming! And one Irish guy too!

It sounds up my alley, but I still have to finish The Wire. I'll probably get a start on that this weekend.

He's in one episode of every series except the first Ithink. Series 4 is his best one, with Ade Edmonson, "home economics" is still hilarious.

I will say, to the room in general, despite whats been said series 1 does have some inspired moments and can be as funny as the others in its own way.

Loved Blackadder. Remember I used to have it on VHS. Have to say that the World War I one is my favorite, though the entire bit with the dictionary in series 2 [I think] was great.

It was series 3.

Series 1 is the medieval/shit one.

Series 2 is the Tudor one

Series 3 is the one with Prince George

Series 4 is the one set in WW1

Right, that's right. I quite liked series 3. It's been a while since I've watched any of them. Should fix that, maybe find them online or something.

No Flashheart in the Regency period. The larger than life character during that series was Stephen Fry as the Duke of Wellington.

Rik Mayall's Robin Hood in Back and Forth is essentially Flashheart though.

Who was then for all intents and purposes used for General Melchett in Goes Forth

That's the common answer. Most believe the fourth is the best. My favourite pisode is the one where George gets injured and has to go to the hospital and Blackadder is charged with trying to find out who the German spy is within the hospital (feat. Miranda Richardson).

I was supposed to go to the doctor this morning, stepped outside and slipped and fell on the icy front porch. Got to my car, which was frozen over, spent about fifteen minutes deicing it and warming it up, get on the road and nearly run off in two ditches and slide past a stop sign before deciding to come back home.

Would it have been ironic to die on the way to a health professional?

I was suppose to have a dentist appointment this morning, but I remembered I have meeting at work, which means I'll be getting free pizza, & I want to actually be able to chew & not have shit fallling out of my mouth & shit. We also get paid today, which is nice.

Yeah dude, it's fucking freezing out right now. Luckily it's dry in Boston, but I decided to take the train to New Jersey this afternoon instead of the bus because it's supposed to snow and I don't wanna be dealing with none of that bus bullshit.

Seriously though, I am approaching 5 years of living in Boston, and I can't remember it ever being this fucking cold. It's felt like 5 degrees or below for the past five days. It's ridiculous.

So my movie theater is not post showtimes for any movies tonight... except two showings for Hansel & Gretal, this annoys me a great deal.
